Comfortable and affordable hotel with good access to village centre

Very thoughtful owners. There is a well equipped kitchen where guests can cook their own food and sit at a table. Milk, juice and breakfast foods are provided within the very reasonable price. Beds are comfortable. Shower superb. A great find. A short way along the road there’s an alleyway that leads directly to the high street, where you’ll find some lovely restaurants and a pub, late night groceries and a Post Office.

Would have liked to have had more ventilation in the room (4) but unfortunately the sash window doesn’t open. This is really a minor gripe though.

Great stay close to East Midlands Airport

Property was clean easy to access didn’t have any staff in the venue was really clean. Bed comfortable great for an overnight stay. Would stay again

Great location for Donington Race Circuit

Great location in the centre of Castle Donington, easy check in with nicely furnished rooms, self service breakfast more than sufficient

Loved this property and will stay again

It was great. Super clean. Kitchen stocked with goodies, mainly for breakfast. Nice shower and Netflix on tv.

On site Parking was limited.

Loved it so much

The whole hotel looked new/refurbished. Room was very clean. Kitchen was well equipped, and full with food. They even kept alternative milk, which we use normally. It had a coffee machine, with different pods as well and fruits, breads, joghurts jams eggs etc Really loved our stay

Spotless and convenient

I would let people know to that there is a regular skyline airport bus every 15 mins or so for £2 - as opposed to a £19 taxi ride to go 3.5 miles

Only spoke on the phone to staff and briefly on arrival but they were friendly and professional and went out of their way to help, getting a room ready for us for 10:30 even though check in is at 15:00 .

We were allocated the bedroom which I would describe as a loft. It was spacious and really clear. There was a slightly unpleasant smell from the bathroom but not unbearable. Loved using door codes instead of keys. Enjoyed the help/make your own breakfast. Yet again really clean and super selection of food.

Excellent on every level - will definitely return to this property if I visit the area again.

EXCELLENT!! Very pleased with this property. Great location and easy with parking on site (or at the Cross Keys pub a few doors down). Very clear instructions from management about how to access. The room (and hallways, kitchen) was very clean and tidy. Very impressed and would absolutely recommend and stay again!

Exceptional

The size of the studio and the amenities it had was perfect. The interior style was lovely and the bed was very comfy. Bonus points for having Netflix too. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be booking again.

Everything was great, we would just recommend having a big mirror somewhere in the studio.

Simple staffless access. Clean warm room. Good furniture and linens. Good value.

Tight parking, but more in neighbouring friendly pub.

Good value for money.

Bed was comfy. Plenty of breakfast. Free parking . Clean , good value .

The shower water was too hot on the lowest setting. The heating in the room was so hot it was uncomfortable. We turned the radiators off but the bathroom wouldn’t turn off. Although it was very central , the room was at the front of the property and the traffic noise was loud and constant.

A very good stay well worth the money, good facilities and comfort for the night.

Breakfast was standard as mentioned in the booking form, well stocked, location was okay, but my sat nav said it was on the left as I came down the hill, but had to turn around and then found it, also there could have been more parking spaces, but parked on the street and the vehicle was okay where I had parked

Somebody set the fire alarm off just before 11pm which wasn't good.

Great stay

Very clean hotel, lovely large rooms and everything you need in them. Great communication from the hotel owners about check in and out. Kitchen fully stocked for continental breakfast. Fantastic stay, definitely recommend this hotel and will be using it again ourselves.
