I booked this house several months in advance of our business trip for me and five other of my colleagues coming in from all parts of the country on April 15th to April 18th 2024. I arrived that Monday and using the App requested entry info starting at about 1:30 PM. I didnt receive any information but it wasnt time to check in until 4:00 so I wasnt worried. At dinner that evening I began to suspect something was wrong and made several calls which were not answered. So I began to text the number. Finally after several hours they responded with which property was I asking. Around 7 PM they finally responded with they were sorry but the house is undergoing some repairs and they did not anticipate a group today. Also that the host "Ethel" was sick and they were helping with her properties. They offered another property which I had stayed at last year and didnt like. Although the HOST was a differnent name. Finally after 6 hours of trying to communicate with them they reimbursed my money fully.
If this had been a vacation it would have been ruined. Vrbo was of little use. I couldnt speak to a real person.
I will never use Vrbo again.

To Whom This may Concern:
This letter is being directed to VRBO, and the home owner/renter of Property # 2139251/ Reservation ID “HA – QS39GM (Case #122 190 286 for reference) in Oklahoma City, OK. The dates reserved were from Dec. 22 – Dec. 30. Our family recently rented the above stated property for a family Christmas gathering. While at the home, various concerns came up; with severity. Some of the concerns were and are as follows:
* Various rooms missing window blinds or curtains for privacy.
* One room did not have a door for privacy.
* Broken door handle to the ½ bathroom downstairs.
* Multiple TV’s were inoperable.
* The microwave kept going out; in which we had to keep resetting the breaker.
* One bathroom had paint peeling inside of the bathtub.
* Loose floor register downstairs.
* There are mice in the home. Multiple locations in the kitchen and other parts of the home had visible mice droppings. On other occasions, the mice were visibly seen entering a hole in one of the bedrooms.

Decent place but way out of price range for what it is. Do not recommend.

We booked this home for our yearly girls weekend!!! It was perfect! Super accommodating in space, sleeping arrangements and location! There are a lot of stairs so just be mindful of that when booking for anyone who might have issues with stairs, there is no place where you can go without using a set of stairs to get there! Other then that house was perfect and we would stay again!!!

We rented this home for our wedding weekend so that our close friends and family could have a place to stay and spend time together. The house was huge and kind of fascinating to explore. Even with the large square footage, you might wonder at first how 22 people would manage to sleep here. Well, many sleeping spaces have been added in "creative" ways. Several bedrooms do not have separate entrances, meaning you go through some bedrooms to enter others. Some bedrooms are more like closets, and some have many beds packed into a small space. We were aware of this from the start, so we didn't mind, but it's worth knowing about in advance, depending on what your group needs.
Generally, the house met our needs well for the occasion. The pool and hot tub were particularly great. The kitchen, TVs, and most of the beds were also nice, and the master bed/bathroom was amazing.
There were a few other things I feel like I should note that weren't necessarily bad, just odd:
1) We reserved the space with VRBO's option to pay half of the bill up front, and half later. The host requested our second payment a full week ahead of the due date. Maybe they just wanted to remind us, but the message said "your bill is due." We paid before the actual due date with no issues, but it was a bit strange.
2) No check-in instructions provided ahead of time (either through message or home details in app) so just a couple hours before check-in began, I messaged the host asking for information. They sent me a door code with no other comments. But when our first guests arrived, the host was there in-person to greet them. Again, this all ended up being fine, but it was a bit nerve-wracking to receive no info beforehand when renting a house for a big group of family/friends.
3) Sign on the downstairs bathroom door saying "Do not enter," but the door was open and the light was on. We messaged the host to ask about it, and they told us to take down the sign and use it normally.
4) Large section of gutter hanging loose from the roof in the back of the house. It was high enough that it was not interfering with anything as far as we could see, but would have been nice to know about since it was hanging a little precariously.
Again, all of these things were not really "bad," just odd. We really appreciated this home for providing a great gathering space for our loved ones, and would definitely recommend it for that purpose.

Great family gathering place
Great stay if you’re entertaining family or over a holiday weekend. It was perfect for our family and pretty centrally located to conveniences. The house has plenty of space and the rooms are very accommodating, but if you have younger children or handicap guests, this is a bi-level home so you’ll want to ensure adult supervision or arrange any younger children or older guests to stay in one of the 3 rooms that are on the same level of a bathroom. All other rooms and the master bath have stairs for navigation. There are about 3-4 steps on the side gate outside that are easier steps to get to the pool, main dining or kitchen area if necessary. All rooms are updated and have TVs which was great for streaming when we needed to take a break from the pool. If planning for guests, no parking is allowed on the streets by the neighborhood association, but there’s plenty of driveway parking space so you’ll need to plan ahead of time the cars that may need to be pulled in first. The pool was also very well kept with plenty of seating, a covered grill area and a same level pool bath so guests could shower/change. Great home and if you have any needs or concerns, the property manager was responsive to address them.

Best place for a group!
We all went to OKC for the World Series tournament, and decided to put a couple families in one home. This house was perfect for giving everyone space but enough room in the living areas to all gather and enjoy time together! Highly recommend!

This home was EVERYTHING & MORE. The pictures are a disservice. You have to see this property in person. The stays was wonderful and the house was lovely

Great gathering place
The house holds a lot of people. We used it for a graduation party and had 7 people staying at the house with 20+ people at a couple of parties. We hired caterers for 3 of the days and they were able to work in the kitchen wonderfully.

Son's Wedding
Excellent place. Read description, tho. Rooms adjoin to other rooms. 5 actual bedrooms, as others are accessible only by going through another bedroom.
This place was really fantastic. It had plenty of space and since we were all family, the rooms were not a problem. Really really enjoyable.

Conflicting stay
We rented this property in August. Overall the house was great. Provided ample space for everyone to roam and sleep.
The downside was the Outside grill did not work, smelt like gas leaking. There was construction going on for the new hot tub room. The patio door in the back would not lock.
The owner did let me know ahead of time about a leak to one of the bathrooms not usable. With the amount of people we had that did cause some issues but the owner did say he would refund some or our money for the inconvenience. It is now December and still no refund. We left a day earlier than we rented out for and picked up prior to our departure even though it was not required. I'm more disappointed that they would refund part of our stay and now don't return calls/texts and send me a refund. Just straight excuses. Although the house was nice I would look elsewhere.

Good location for family Thanksgiving
We stayed for 6 nights for 2021 Thanksgiving. The great room/kitchen/dining area was perfect for our large family. We were able to hang out without being on top of each other. The kitchen was fairly well stocked (loved the pictures on the site). We didn’t use the hot tub room so we can’t review it. We also didn’t use the pool - but it looked like it would be fun in the summer.
Our one complaint was that the hot water ran out fast - especially for the large number of beds that are in the house.
One other note - be aware that several of the rooms are connected with and without doors so you’ll want to keep that in mind when figuring out where people will sleep.
The location is great with lots of restaurants, Costco and Super Target nearby.
We had a problem with the heat but the owner addressed it right away.
Overall - we recommend the property and would stay here again.

My Tribe Loved the Golden Lion
Me and a group of 40+ friends rented the Gold Lion for a weekend get together. The home was beautiful, decor was tasteful, kitchen is a dream and the beds were to die for. Loved the massaging beds and our host was responsive and professional!

Beautiful home.. Poor service and lack of basic amenities
Upon arriving at check in the home was under construction/remodel.. a construction dumpster was on drive the entire stay.. A/C upstairs was ok then it completely stopped working.. owner did respond but acted as if it was a inconvenience to address issue ..
gas grill for cooking was. Disconnected and inoperable.. once again it was viewed as "oh well" We did not get the bang for the buck .. service was less then appropriate

Good family rental
Had our family reunion here. 18 adults and 6 kids. The beds were amazing. Pool and sauna were great! The bathrooms were great except one tub draining issue. A couple minor issues to start but host was happy to assist. There was a defective smoke alarm that went off two nights in a row a couple times at night which was very inconvenient. It had just rained 11 days straight so there were ants and mice unfortunately. Communication with host was slow response, but eventually got our needs met. The garage was unusable but the new turnaround driveway was great. They were adding a hot tub room outside which will be a nice addition. Overall a great family vacation.

Huge house, lots of extras
We stayed 5 days in this ginormous house. Since we were only 4 and there were 8 bedrooms and nearly 20 beds, the kids enjoyed claiming a whole wing each as their personal suite. They also loved playing hide-n-seek since there were so many cubbies and closets.
The pool is an awesome feature and I appreciated the very high quality pool furniture for lounging and dining poolside. We didn’t use the grill—too darn hot for that—but it all looked high quality.
We do love to play pool, and the pool table was pretty great with an enormous TV next to it, with Netflix and Pandora available, and a picture window view from the game room. Again, everything was high quality here—straight cues and an unscuffed, flat table.
There were abundant linens and towels, and the kitchen was stocked with plenty of cookware and dining sets. Oddly, there was no toaster, but otherwise, everything you’d expect.
This was an extremely comfortable, well-maintained place perfect for gatherings small, large, or even extra-large. We loved it.

The property was fantastic!

My group and I arrived at the house on April 9th around 5:30 pm after the posted check in time of 4 pm. The first issue was not receiving any information from the property owner regarding the check in process. I had to send a message inquiring on how to enter the home and was finally sent the entry code. The first thing we noticed upon entering the house was the filthy swimming pool. It was nasty and hadn’t been cleaned in along time. This was one of the reasons we choice this property from looking at the pictures the pool was clean and a good size for all guests. The pool furniture had no cushions and was not appealing at all. Next, the ceiling fan in one of the bedrooms would not turn onand one side of the house was hot due to the air conditioning not working properly. The house can easily sleep up to 22 people but two rooms are not private which caused issues for couples. The kitchen and washing machine and dryer are all updated and very nice. The exterior of the house could use some upkeep due to spider webs, dirty windows and no working light fixtures in the back of the property. The interior appeared put together, but they’re were dirty walls and dirty chairs in the game room To sum up our experience at Quail Creek it was not all bad but could’ve been much better if the property owner would’ve provided all as advertised in the VRBO posting. We left feeling somewhat unsatisfied due to not being able to use a major part of the property that being the pool. The property owner Kingsley was responsive but did not resolve the problem and we still left with no pool fun all weekend. With that being said it is in my opinion that this property is way overpriced. Too many extra cost for cleaning fees and the property was not very clean when we arrived. We definitely need a partial reimbursement due to not being able to experience the entire property we rented and it’s falsely advertised with the pictures.
