Large 5 bedroom/5 bath home with amazing ocean views. Home sleeps 15 with inverted floor plan . Our house includes everything you need to have a memorable relaxing week at the beach.
The incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean and beach from the kitchen, great room and master suite and bedrooms. The house has multiple covered decks that you can enjoy the ocean views. There is a fenced in private backyard pool that can with an outside shower with hot and cold water. There is an elevator if needed.
The reversed living house plan has views for everyone to enjoy. Go to the roof deck and enjoy all the water views. This large sun deck has completely unobstructed views of the entire island.
The gourmet kitchen has full ocean views and everything you need including two refrigerators/freezers with icemakers and convection oven. The open floor plan allows everyone in the kitchen to enjoy the entertainment of the great room, large screen TV and fireplace.
The first level of the house has three bedrooms and a laundry room with H/E oversized washer and dryer. The master suite includes a king bed, TV , master walk in closet and opens to the deck with ocean views.
The 2nd bedroom has 2 twin bunk beds with two additional trundles sleeps 4 people opens to the ocean view deck.
The third bedroom includes a full size bed with twin trundle sleeps 3 and opens to the rear deck overlooking the pool. Each of these bedrooms include private sink/vanities and a large shower garden tub.
The second level has two additional bedrooms. Bedroom 4 has a queen bed sleeps 2 private bath and shower unit and deck overlooking pool. The 5th bedroom has a queen bedroom sleeps 2 and connects with a tub/shower unit.

We had a great vacation. The view was amazing. It was so nice to enjoy a cup of coffee in the mornings sitting on the deck looking at the ocean. Actually we spent a lot of time on the deck just relaxing. It was just a short walk to the beach access. The pool was also nice to play in when we weren’t on the beach. The elevator was so helpful. We took my 80 yo mom and aunt and it was easy access for them!! Will rent again!!

We stayed here for my parent's 55 anniversary. We had our entire family (4 families). We absolutely loved it here. It was clean and beautiful. Reservations and check in and check out were a breeze. The home decor was beautiful. There were some maintenance items that needed to be attended to, like some broken blinds, broken patio chairs and loose boards on the deck, but nothing substantial. The pool and pool area was the best - it felt like being in your own little oasis. We spent a LOT of time here throughout the week. The view of the ocean/island was spectacular! You have to walk down a few houses to get to the beach access, but it's not far at all. We had some issues with the elevator. It is tricky to operate. But, once you learn how to work it, it does a lot better, but still not 100% of the time (it gets stuck on the 2nd floor sometimes, and won't come when it's called to another floor - but never with people in it). This was bad for us, as our parents are elderly and there are LOTS of steps. But, the owner, James, was very responsive and very easy to work with. There is a spectacular view from the deck on the roof of the house, however, the railings are not very strong, so if you have kids I would be very wary of that. All in all, we loved it here and had an amazing time, and I really loved the home and liked the owner very much.

So many things go into attempting to select the best property to maximize your overall experience when going on vacation, this property checks alll the boxes! As soon as you enter the home relaxation begins. The design, flow and cleanliness are exceptional. But most importantly the views of the ocean are stunning. The front decks offer unobstructed scenery that quickly dissolves any stress you may have inadvertently brought along. The owner is more than accommodating, easily reachable and is very much invested in your experience. We will choose this home as often as we can to escape and rejuvenate!!

Our stay overall was great. Couple areas in the bathrooms needed a little more cleaning but mostly very well maintained. The top sundeck was off limits due to needed repairs and the pool had a leak somewhere per the maintenance, so we had to keep adding water but not really a big deal. They came and checked the pool a couple of times too. We really enjoyed the quiet environment. A great place to enjoy the beach if you like it quiet but plenty of things to do within driving distance as well.

This was a great home and clearly well maintained. There was some wear and tear to the patios as expected near the beach with high winds and salty air but the boards on the front porches look like they have just been replaced. The kitchen was well stocked, bed rooms were nice and we didn’t see any bugs inside during our stay. Pool was clean and heated outdoor shower was a plus. Easy and quick access to uncrowded beaches and a wonderful view!!!

The property fit our needs perfectly. The location is excellent, just steps from the beach. The views of the ocean were exceptional. We spent many hours on the deck, talking, laughing, and enjoying the view.
There were a few negatives. The roof deck at the rear of the home is in dire need of repair. None of us used it at all, and it was definitely off limits for the children. The elevator was not working. This was quite disappointing for us as a retired couple, and we were fortunate to have our sons there to help bring our luggage up the stairs. One last concern is that the paved road ends and changes to gravel right in front of the home. People driving by are usually going too fast and hit the gravel at speeds too high which kicks up the gravel and causes loud noise.
Overall, it was a good stay. I would return if the necessary repairs are made.

Beautiful home at a beautiful location! The home was a perfect fit for our family. We enjoyed the beach in the morning came back and enjoyed the pool and then could enjoy the beach again from the big comfortable porches. We rocked our two year old to sleep almost every night on the porch listening and watching the surf!

House was very clean and great view. Nice front decks but the back decks needed replacing. Wrought iron railing is not safe. Some rotten boards in decking and the “crows nest” needs to be taken down. It is an accident waiting to happen. The pool was nice, however there was a leak somewhere so had to add water each day. Dining room table, chairs and bar stools needed to be replaced also.
But we enjoyed our stay with family but would not book again.

The location for this OIB property was great. Only a couple issues when we arrived. The pool had not been cleaned so it was a huge first impression misstep. All surrounding pools were a pretty blue and ours was an unsighlty green. It was however quickly addressed the next day. Second, we had one mattress with farily bad staining, a mattress topper would have solved this, again first impressions. A new set of bedding throughout would have been perfect. A couple other items with old furniture and general cleanliness but we've come accustom to these things renting for the last 20 years. Functionally, a great house! Tons of room and tons of sleeping flexibility. It was pretty windy and cool during our stay so we spent more time in the house than normal but we were comfortable with a gourp of 11. Another couch in the living room would have made it perfect. Unfortunately the road out front is gravel so you get a ton of noise but the view compensates for this. You have an unobstructed 120 degree view of the ocean, beautiful! The elevator was great for transporting luggage and our "older" guests! A few updates and this is the perfect OIB house!!

Prompt and informative communication with owner. Very spacious and clean house, love having 2 full size fridges and microwaves! Very well stocked kitchen, good towels and bed linens. Nice balcony area and pool. Very close to beach access but nice to be further down the street where the beach isn't quite as crowded. Comfy couch in main room, very nice washer and dryer, all appliances worked great. Only complaint was kitchen chairs need new padding. We would highly recommend this place and would stay here again.

This property was great. Just one row off the beach but a real short walk to access. Beautiful views of the ocean with no homes in the way. Property manager was great and accommodating with the little changes we needed.

The good:
Nice view. Great location. Plenty of rooms. Initially the owner was responsive- particularly when we got there and the internet password was not correct. She helped us get the correct one.
The bad:
- We called to have the pool heated the week before our trip and was told the heating wasn’t working. When we got there, we found out the pool pump wasn’t even working. So not only were we unable to heat the pool, we weren’t even able to use it at all. The owner agreed she should take it off the rental listing, but when we asked the owner for a reimbursement (twice), she did not respond. We would not have rented the house had we known the pool was not available.
-The mattress covers were stained and dirty (one especially). It came clean when I washed it.
-There were railings broken on the porches- not safe with kids.
-Our bathroom hand towels and wash cloths were dingy and mismatched.
-Kitchen hand towel was mildewed.
-One sofa was very stained and needed cleaning or replacing.
-House needed many repairs.
-Living room and kitchen are not as spacious as the rental listing photos appear.
We have never given a home a poor review. The only reason we are giving this review is to save others from the same issues. I understand that it is hard and expensive to keep up a property. The house was just not up to the standards we’ve seen in all our other rentals.

Accommodations were excellent. Manager very responsive and Communication was quick. All beds were comfortable! Wonderful location to beach. Kitchen well appointed but could use more measuring cups/spoons and unbreakable dishes for little ones. Kitchen sink lacking in hot water when hand washing dishes but could have been me not using the spigot correctly because otherwise no issues in baths etc. Overall LOVED our family vacation and would return!

My family and my friend and her family spent a week at this house in Ocean Isle. It has easy access to the beach (takes less than 5 minutes to walk, put your things down and be in the ocean!). The house is well maintained with plenty of room for every one to relax.

Kid's Spring Break
The house was nice, clean with a beautiful view of the beach. Will be back during the warmer months and hopefully there is not any construction taking place next door. The owner was very responsive when we needed minor details for an enjoyable trip. The house was well stocked with supplies and we loved the heated pool. Again, we will be back!!

Bissful Birthday at the Beach
Awesome location, amazing views... attention to detail would easily push this to a 5 experience!! The elevator was broken the first several days of our stay. The pool required re-cleaning, couches need cleaned/replaced, landscaping, window and linen cleaning could be better, master shower backs up and master closet is mostly unavailable/ used for storage.
The owner was responsive and several came throughout to perform maintenance. The owner is also very considerate of families with MANY key necessities available for use!
I do recommend this property and town. It's a beautiful home and quiet family stay, easily accessible to hustle and bustle and ample attractions if desired.

Excellent place
We had a wonderful time reconnecting with family. We had a couple of things that need attention during our stay and the property owner responded quickly in address those issues.
The house is beautiful with a great ocean view. The kitchen is perfect. We cooked all of our meals there. The house is in close proximity to any necessities.

Christmas Vacation
Our family spent the week between Christmas and New Years in OIB. We had a wonderful week at this property and found the entire process to be a positive experience. The house was the perfect size for us as it provided family space and areas that were private. The location was great and the ocean views were amazing.. Ocean Isle - Great Location
House was situated really nicely - great view of the ocean and just a short walk to the beach. Really wonderful pool - you might not think a pool is necessary at a great beach but it was very handy. Kids loved it and could go in it any time of the day. Adults loved being able just to lounge poolside as well. Great house - nice amount of bedrooms and baths. There are two adjoining rooms that share a bath -awesome for the kids!
Might be time for some mattress upgrades. Adult bedrooms were nice sizes.
Awesome decks - especially ocean side. We sat there every single night!
One refrigerator just struggled to keep things cold. Drinks especially were generally just not cold like you hope. The grill when we arrived was very dirty. We reached out primarily because it looked like a potential fire hazard. Owner promptly sent someone over and he cleaned it up nicely! Just like a new grill. Thank you!!
Any issues that I've mentioned are not show stoppers for sure. And the owner is terrific to work with. We'd rent there again in a heartbeat. Thank you for the terrific time and use of your beach home. Beach, ocean and family are good for the soul!

Red House Delight
Lovely house with ocean views from generously sized decks. Plenty of rocking chairs, tables and chairs for morning coffee or just watching the sea.
Well stocked kitchen, plus 2 refrigerators was a plus for the abundance of beverages on hand.
The master suite was a delight for the grandparents with mobility issues as there is a step in shower with seating and a deck
that offered ocean views.
So much more was provided, including a crib, ample bureau storage and lots of kid’s
toys.
The owner, Caroline, was quick to reply to questions or concerns, particularly with an elevator issue that was rectified within 24 hours.
Ages 1 to 70 all enjoyed this wonderful home:)

OIB Rental
Our family had a great time at OIB. The house was very nice & clean with great views of the ocean from all the decks. We spent a lot of time at the pool (which we heated) since the ocean was pretty chilly. We had a difficult time with the elevator and there are a lot of stairs. A few things did not work such as the toaster and extra refrigerator but it was not a big deal. The owners responded quickly to all our questions.

Great place to stay!
This was our first time staying in Ocean Isle, we really enjoyed the quietness of the island. The communication with the host was excellent! The house is huge, having the pool heated in the cool spring was worth it! We would stay here again for sure!

Beautiful home with a priceless view!
We had a wonderful week of relaxation and comfort in the beautiful red house! Having breakfast on the top floor with views of the ocean and morning sightings of brown pelicans flying by. We enjoyed the heated pool, top floor views while relaxing in rocking chairs and peaceful walks on the beach. The home had everything we needed for our stay and more! We will definitely plan another trip soon!
