Such a comfortable, clean property! Heather was a great host! Made sure to answer quickly with any questions we had and even made sure the refrigerator was stocked with water and breakfast food. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay at this property again.

We visited Hillsdale for a family reunion taking place in Osseo and stayed at this apartment for 5 nights. Our stay was very pleasant and the place was very nice and comfortable. The owner had stocked the fridge with bottled water and a little food that made the stay even nicer. My wife and I had reserved the place due to the location and amenities but it was too much space for just us two with 4 bedrooms. An out of state family with two small children stayed with us a couple of the nights and the layout could not have been more perfect. The 4th bedroom in the upstairs has child bunkbeds with a master bedroom next door and the family took this space while my wife and I stayed down one floor on the main floor. They had their privacy and we had ours. The main entry is a private entrance on the street level with a common hallway going up to the main floor of the apartment (2nd floor of building) and then the stairway continues up to the top floor (3rd floor of building). On the main floor, you have a bathroom, a living room, a bedroom with a twin bed and a bedroom with a queen bed. All room are separated from each other by doors and an AC unit cools them all. Access to a washer and dryer is on this floor. On the top floor, the apartment has a master bedroom with a Queen bed and AC separated by French doors from the kids room with the bunkbeds and then a kitchen, dining room, and bath #2. There were even some toys and books for the kids. It was just perfect and a lovely stay!

Loved the location, as walked to restaurants, walked to farmers market at courthouse. We were there for a family wedding at Hillsdale College. Owner/Heather was very nice and helpful with questions. Wonderful place for family to stay!

Enjoyed our stay in downtown Hillsdale. Needs a new shower head. It was very clean and snacks were provided.

Heather's place was meant to be for several of us, but at the last minute it was just 4 adults, and that was fine - we each had our own level to "live" on - and shared the kitchen upstairs. If you have more than 4 people it gets cozy real quick - especially for eating and bathrooms, but the location was great for attending Hillsdale College graduation. Be ready for steep stairs, and some loud street noise here and there. Overall, it's hard to find good options close to campus, and if you're up for the stairs, and need a little larger space to accommodate more than mom and dad give this place a look!

The downtown apartment was excellent. Heather answered any questions right away. We would stay here again.

Did a random two-night getaway here with five people. We loved the location - right in the walkable heart of historic Hillsdale - and the apartment itself was great fun to stay in: two whole floors, well-stocked pantry, comfortable beds, fun decor. Beware if you can’t manage stairs - there are two steep staircases here! The building is also old and a little quirky, but we loved it.

Heather has the biggest heart in the Vrbo network! We left Nashville and headed to Hillsdale with confidence my best friend of 25 years was stable after heart surgery. Only 60 miles north of town we got the call from his wife that he had passed away in the night. We, of course, turned around and headed there to be with her. Subsequently, Heather, in her gracious and empathetic spirit, told us not to worry about our six-month property reservation, we were where we needed to be. That proved to be true and we thank her for her understanding and support during one of the worst experiences of my life.

We stayed at the turquoise apt. while in town for a family wedding. It was lovely! Very clean, spacious and the location was ideal as we had family in Hillsdale, Jonesville and Litchfield. The Saturday farmer's market was a nice surprise. Lots of local talent selling their products. We would definitely recommend to all family and friends traveling/staying in the area.

Host was very accommodating and easy to work with. We appreciated the room to spread out compared to staying at a hotel especially since we were in town for the week. Having a kitchen with refrigerator and laundry machines plus two bathrooms helped our party of 4. We were able to host visiting family in the living room area and also watch a movie on the TV with streaming services. The two window A/C units really helped with the summer heat. The stairs were steep, but not as bad as I thought they might be. Appreciated the coffee, bagels, juice, bottled water, and fruit!

If you visit Hillsdale, don’t hesitate to book Heather’s apartment. It is way better than a hotel. My two kids and I found it very clean, safe, spacious. My five year old played with the little toys provided in the room with bunk beds. She had a lot of fun. Most importantly our host Heather has been so kind and generous to us. She made our trip a pleasant one. Thank you Heather! We can’t wait to book again.

This was better than the hotel to watch my grandkids. Clean, WiFi, TV! I cooked and baked cookies! Heather had fruit & water so I didn't have to carry bottles up the steps & she was quick to respond to questions. More than accomadating! After all luggage was up the steps, a bag of groceries & coming and going was manageable. Kitchen is on upper floor. Children will need supervision but they always do!

We were in town for my moms funeral service, this apartment offered a quiet getaway right downtown near everything we needed to be close to. It had everything we needed with comfortable beds and we were taken good care of with some food and water provided by the owner. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

The property is huge and well equipped. The old charm is what stand out the most, the wood floors and the history of the building. Heather was awesome to work with. I look forward to using the apartment in the near future.

We've happily been staying here once a month for the past six months (see previous reviews). The owner is exceptional. Her communication and hospitality are above and beyond. She generously has fresh fruit, bagels, cream cheese, coffee, tea, and orange juice waiting for us upon arrival. We find the apartment to be quiet, private, and well-equipped. We appreciate having a washer and dryer to use throughout our stay. On this particular visit, we were especially grateful for the charming Christmas decorations throughout the apartment. Another example of the owner's thoughtfulness and good spirit.

Had another great stay here while attending a Hillsdale College lecture series. Heather was prompt with information and responses. Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay! Thanks !

It was such fun to stay in one of Hillsdale's historic buildings, having only ever seen them from the outside! Inside, the apartment was clean, cheerful and well-appointed. Heather was an attentive and thoughtful host. Fruit on the kitchen table and bottled water in the refrigerator were much appreciated. We did not cook, since our visit was short, but the kitchen seemed to be well-stocked with staples. Walking distance to great food and coffee.
Beds were comfy and towels were plentiful and soft.
The set-up is particularly well-suited to a family. (Kid's room with bunk beds and trundle is adorable.) The bedrooms adjoin each other, so they are not particularly private, but that was not an issue for our family group. Two couples or small families could be accommodated quite comfortably, since there are bedrooms and a bathroom on each of two floors, giving each their own space.
Steep stairs up to the apartment and between the living room and kitchen level would make it difficult for anyone with mobility problems.
All in all a very charming and convenient home base for any visit to Hillsdale. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!
