Beautiful views! Enjoyed watching the tide go in & out. Also watching them checking their traps! Kitchen was very nice to prepare meals in. We all had our privacy with all the bedrooms & bathrooms. Would definitely recommend this place!

Great property. Best set of bedrooms of all the places we've been in Maine over 12 years (often a big drop-off in quality after the master bedroom). Garden and fire pit were terrific. Loved both family rooms, easy for folks to have quiet places (or loud places). Long staircase to dock was perfectly doable for us, both in our 70s. Good exercise, actually. I loved being on the deck up so high above the water. Karen the owner was very helpful.
Would have been helpful to have more details in advance about household supplies provided or not. Kayaks provided were small, not suited for anything besides local paddling.
Special Event: a humpback whale came up the river right by the house twice when we were there, once right next to family in kayaks. The second time late at night when we could hear it breathing up and down the river.

We selected this house for our biannual family gathering given it’s beautiful location, the number of bedrooms, the open floor plan with a modern well appointed kitchen, the large outside deck looking out at the ocean and access to the water via stairs and dock. The furniture in every room was more upscale than expected in a rental and extremely comfortable. The large driveway enabled us to have multiple vehicles and the easy house entrance from the driveway made it accessible for our frailer family members plus ease of unpacking and packing. Highly recommend the property.

Beautiful, Spacious Home
This home was perfect for our family of 8, with ample room to have our own space. The views were breath taking. My kids had a wonderful time kayaking on the river! We had a wonderful stay!!

Very comfortable home
The home was very nice. As mentioned by others the stairs to the dock/water are STEEP. My husband and I are in great shape and we were winded. But the view from the deck was beautiful and peaceful!!! If you are looking for a home to drive to and stay and just relax, this is your house. If you have a group and they are wanting do do activities away from the home, you may want to find something closer to Boothbay.

Great house with amazing views
A bit far from other things and beds were a bit hard for us BUT beautiful place and very responsive management group. Thanks to owner for sharing a slice of heaven.

Super Post-Pandemic Getaway
We gathered our three families for a post-pandemic reunion and 70th birthday celebration. Sea Fog was a great property as a home base to explore mid-coast Maine. There was plenty of room for the kids to play and they really enjoyed the kayaks. However, be prepared to drive to most attractions such as Acadia NP, the Maine Maritime Museum, or the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden. Also, we brought our own jugs of filtered drinking water for making coffee, etc.

Post COVID Getaway
Stunning warm and inviting home. Location is quiet and peaceful with daily excursions to Reid State Park, Popham Beach, and historic Bath. Kayaks on property provide adventures on the Sheepscot; fire pit for cool evenings...perfect vacation for our family. Be aware of multiple stairs to water- not an issue for us but would be problematic for anyone with mobility issues. Highly recommend this home!!!
