Had an awesome stay at Highlands Ridge Retreat. Plenty of room for our large group.

Everything was perfect.

The space is amazing for a large group. The rooms all have privacy, large beds, and comfortable bathroom arrangements for all. Tons of things to do - darts, pool, fooseball, hot tub, and sauna. We had a blast. Thanks!

Everything was great. Checkin/out was very easy. Property was as described. Thanks again.

The house is in a great location close to town, and has an abundance of space for large gatherings. The hosts are very quick to respond to communications, but for what you pay for this property, they need to put some love into it.
Upon arriving, we noticed dirty clothes, water bottles, beer cans, and trash left from the guests before us. So clearly, the house had not been cleaned properly. Which when you pay so much for cleaning you would expect these things would be handled. The walls are chipped and beaten up. The carpet is stained and needs to be cleaned or replaced. There is black mold in the master bathroom shower and the shower curtain in the upstairs bathroom are covered in mold as well. The bedroom comforters are stained. All these things just makes the house feel dirty. I was hoping I could upload pictures to show the condition of these things.
I wish we would have taken advice from the previous guest review and stayed in a property that was kept in better condition.

The property has a lot of deferred maintenance issues. Wood floors are beat up, walls are dinged/scratched, master bath has cob webs in the shower stall, landscape is overgrown and hinders your view, kitchen is poorly outfitted, mattress in master bedroom is the worst I have ever seen in a place this expensive. There is a pool table but only one working pool cue. There was no soap in any of the soap dispensers. There were no garage door openers, and the outdoor grill was filthy. The carpets were just cleaned, but the furniture was not all put back and there was styrofoam under the legs of some of the pieces. We had to call to get this rectified. Several of what they describe as bedrooms were just a room with a bed and no closet. Lights in kitchen blink on and off.
Some of these issues would not be as bothersome if the place was not so expensive and represented as a luxury home with many amenities. The pictures are old and do not fairly represent the condition of the home. The home has a large greenroom and appears to be accurately represented as to the square footage. The hot tub was large and well kept.
The management company was responsive to our requests. However, the deferred maintenance issues and the inaccuracies in the description and photographs of the property should be a concern for any future renters, particularly at this price point.

Our family had a fantastic stay at this property! It perfectlymerts the needs of large group accommodations and amenities! Our only glitch was the hot tub that wouldn't heat and we lost 2 days of use. Once ID'd management sent a technician and immediately fixed it. The bedrooms, living spaces, game room, bars and eating areas were large and made our stay exceptional! Highly recommend, but also suggest offering a military discount, as many in your area do🇺🇸

Beautiful, spacious mountain home minutes from downtown Breckenridge
The house was amazing. It was plenty spacious for all 17 guests to be comfortable and between darts, pool, bumper pool, foosball, a hot tub and several TVs there were plenty of things to do in the house to keep busy at night. The mountain views were spectacular. The hosts were super communicative and easy to work with. Only downside was the HOA being extremely strict and some very nosy neighbors calling us in for having too many cars parked in the driveway or for having cars parked in the dirt on the side of the driveway instead of in the driveway itself. One thing to know is that there isn’t any usable yard space if you’re trying to play lawn games like bags, beersbee and kan jam.

Slice of Heaven
This house is absolutely amazing! We had a small family gathering here and it was absolutely perfect! There’s so much space to gather or spread out. AND THE VIEW!!!! Every window in the house looks out to the beautiful Rocky Mountains, with the main view being the ten-mile peak range! Absolutely stunning. The property was well maintained and very clean. All weekend long my family was saying we had died and gone to heaven!!!! Highly recommend this place and we will be coming back!

Our family of 11 stayed for 6 nights in this amazing house. There truly is a place for everyone to retreat to....and a huge living room for everyone to gather in... for a game of Uno....or to work on the Breckenridge puzzle...which my MIL actually did complete! Everyone even had their own bathroom! A definite plus! Even though there are two dining rooms...the adults ate in the mountain view dining room and the kids ate in the kitchen while sitting at the bar stools (right in front of the food on the counter...haha). We utilized the 2nd dining room to set out snacks and protein bars to grab before our hikes. The kitchen was stocked with spices, coffee & two kinds of coffee makers (traditional and K-cup), tea....all of the cooking utensils you could possibly need, garbage bags and drying towels. I literally felt like I was at home. We were in need of nothing but food. The location of the house is literally minutes from the City Market and there was even a City Market card at the house to help reduce the cost. The hosts thought of everything! Speaking of hosts....Mackenzie always responded to any questions I had, promptly and kindly. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Everything was clean and sparkly when we arrived and the grounds are filled with beautiful wildflowers. It was a perfect backdrop for our daughter's senior photos. Her senior year might be a bust....but her photos will remind her of our wonderful vacation in the Rocky Mountains. Thanks so much for helping us all create such wonderful memories during the summer of covid 19. Colorado was such a respite from the worries of this craziness. Everyone was diligent about wearing their masks. We felt safe not only in the house but throughout the whole town of Breckenridge. I would highly recommend The Highlands Retreat to anyone! Perfect vacation!

Breathtaking views and lots of room
This was our fourth consecutive year staying at this property and for our group of six, it feels like our home away from home. The open concept allows plenty of space to have conversation and fun while preparing meals. This is one of the few properties that allows each of us to have a queen or king sized bed plus our own bathroom. We really appreciated a washer and dryer on the upper and lower floors. There were plenty of supplies and even a welcome basket. Three-car garage is spacious as well as warm. Free shuttle service to the slopes is a nice extra. Owner made everything easy and comfortable. And the views are simply breathtaking from so many windows.

The Best!!
We had an awesome experience staying here. The owners were fabulous! Thank you Mackenzie for being on top of things if we needed something and for making it easy and stressed free. We've been coming to CO for our annual ski trip for the last 10 years and on behalf of my group, you as the owner and your beautiful home was the best so far. We hope to enjoy your home again next year!

Multi family vacation
Our family loved this house! My husband, his siblings, parents & all of our kids had plenty of space with areas to gather spread out throughout the house. We’d definitely stay again!!!
4.7
Great for large groups!
This is a perfect place for multi-family gatherings. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms, and no kids complaining about what is on TV since there is one in nearly every room!
The house is nice and spacious so we could send the kids downstairs to play foosball or to watch a movie.
The hot tub is perfect with mountain views and room for 6 adults. The steam shower on the main floor is awesome after being out all day.
We had some great food at the The Canteen Tap house and grabbed some breakfast at Domo 1898 on the way out of town.
No complaints, excellent experience. We'll be booking again for upcoming family trips.

What an incredible property!
What a special property! We had a group of 8 couples and 8 toddlers and this home had everything we could ever need and more. So much space but also the perfect amount of privacy for each family since nearly every bedroom has its own bathroom. We loved cooking in the well-stocked kitchen and sitting out on the huge deck watching the sunset. The hot tub was an excellent spot to relax and every single room and surface was especially clean. This was our first trip but we hope to make it an annual thing now at this same property, we loved it so much! Thank you for your hospitality!!

Great for corporate retreat
We hosted a corporate retreat here and it was perfect! The space was ideal for our purpose; everyone was comfortable and it was beautiful, inside and out. Loved the view!! The hosts were very friendly, responsive and accommodating, and they made sure we had everything we needed. We really felt taken care of and had a successful retreat. We'll definitely be back again next year. I could see this being a great place for family and friend getaways as well. It's a lovely space and I highly recommend it!

Beautiful, spacious home!
We came here for a family gathering over the weekend. We were pleasantly surprised by a customized gift basket upon our arrival-- what a thoughtful touch! There are so many comfortable spaces to hang out-- the family room, bar, and game room were our favorites. The deck is really amazing this time of year (summer), too. Wow-- the views are awesome. We enjoyed grilling on the Weber grill and just relaxing on the deck.
It's a beautiful home in a great location. It was super clean when we arrived, and it has great amenities like plenty of parking and a pristine hot tub. Almost all of the bedrooms have their own bathroom-- this was especially convenient with our large group. We really appreciate the attention to detail in this home. It's rare to find a home this size that also feels homey and comfortable.
The owners were very responsive to questions before we arrived, so we were able to enjoy our time while we were there without any worries. They even left some brochures about local activities based on our conversations. They recommended a downtown restaurant called Modis for a special dinner that we really enjoyed-- great cocktails!
We will definitely be back! Can't wait to see this place during ski season!
