We stayed here while visiting Newport, Narragansett and Block Island. The location was perfect. The house was clean and the neighborhood was very quiet.

We loved the quiet neighborhood and the clean home. It made a great place to stay as our family gathered for a wedding.

My family of 5 enjoyed our weekend at the beach. The home was adorable, clean and functional. The bedroom air conditioners were greatly appreciated as was the abundance of clean towels. My one complaint is that the river was not actually abutting the property as I thought it would be looking at the photos. It is close by (though not close enough for the kids to go by themselves) but not the “walk out the door and put your feet in the water” I was expecting. We wound up spending all our outdoor time at the town beach which, of course, is a wonderful spot.

Our family had a great time staying here! Just off the main highway - far enough to be quiet but close enough to be convenient. There was tons of traffic as it was 4th of July weekend, but if it weren’t for that everything you’d need (grocery, gas, CVS, restaurants, coffee) is within a few minute drive. The hosts were communicative and accommodating, and worked with us when we had an early AM flight in. They even left coffee for us, laundry detergent pods, etc! My only suggestion would be to have had additional toiletries equal to the guests staying - we had one set of travel sized soap and shampoo for 4 adults.

The house met our needs during our stay. Nothing fancy but we weren’t in the house much because our daughter lives nearby. It’s close to everything in Gansett in a nice, quiet neighborhood.

The house had everything we needed, such as, towels, sheets, beach chairs, a
grill, laundry etc.
We were asked to take our shoes off, so we did. But all of our feet were pitch black after doing so. I didn't bring slippers so I wore my boyfriend's socks lol. We did vacuum. We also looked for a mop but couldn't find one. I wasn't getting on my hands and knees on vacation lol.
The house isn't in tip top shape. The couch is kind of gross. But, I guess I get it bc it's a rental with multiple different people in and out. My mom wouldn't sit on it without a blanket under her. However, for the money we paid, a nicer, cleaner couch should be a must.
There really should be an AC unit in the living room but there isn't. There are AC units in all the bedrooms though. We asked friends to bring us fans and they helped a lot.
Communication between us and the owners was fantastic. We had one issue with the washing machine and they came over the following morning, no questions asked. It was an easy fix. I was glad about that.
The outdoor furniture is beautiful and comfortable. I think a larger umbrella is a necessity. We were sweating and blinded by the sun at dinner time.
The neighborhood is nice. Beaches are very close.
All in all, I'd definitely stay there again. We felt very safe.

Had a wonderful stay in southern RI using this house as a base for five adults. The host was so helpful and house was clean and comfortable. Grateful to have air conditioning in the bedrooms and ceiling fan in the kitchen which kept the house cool during warm weather. Made our breakfasts and lunch at home and ate dinners out. Great ice cream at Brickleys - don’t miss the coffee chip!!

Our RI vacation
The house was very nice and in a good neighborhood. Only minor issues which could easily be corrected. Each room only had an overhead light, no small end table light. A small lamp would have been nice in each room. (Especially where we had the almost two year old. Went out and bought night light for his room.)Kitchen was missing light bulb over the sink so kind of dark. No light bulb in the light over the stove. Just made the stove dark when trying to cook. We had to use the air conditioner a lot because it was very hot in the house but that really only cooled down the living room so we went out and bought small fans for the bedrooms. The fans in the windows didn't really cool down the rooms. Liked the outdoor decks and used the gas grill once. As I said, only minor issues which are easily corrected. The hosts were very helpful and got back to me immediately with questions. Would stay there again.

Roomy and Quiet
The property is definitely in need of some cosmetic updates (old fixtures, missing kitchen cabinet door, etc), but it was roomy and suited us well for a last-minute trip to Narragansett/Newport. A suggestion would be to add window AC units to the bedrooms, but the days we were there were cool, so the window fans were more than enough. Property owners were very nice and brought by beach chairs, beach cart, and sand toys for us. House is located on a quiet, residential street and is close to everything by car, but not walkable.

Celebration of Teenagers
4 moms and their 4 daughters celebrating their 12th& 13th birthdays. The house was a perfect size, clean and had all the necessary amenities we needed. The rooms were decorated nicely and the neighborhood was quiet. The location was within close proximity to the beach, stores, food and Newport.
The owners hung a Happy Birthday banner for our girls and had fresh flowers on the table upon our arrival which was a nice touch.
Would highly recommend this property.
