We booked both houses for our family get together. Great location, walking distance to the town and plenty of space for everyone both inside and out. Comfy beds, well equipped modern kitchens, good heating and a great fire pit and BBQ area out the back. This was my 5th time booking the property and will always be our first choice when returning to Halls Gap. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay in this house. The house has fully equipped kitchen. Two bathrooms and toilets which was good. Has free internet. Beds were comfortable. Location is very near to the halls gap city centre. The rooms were clean and tidy. Backyard is open to beautiful forest view. Got to see a lot of Kangaroos. Only thing missing was storage like a clothes rack. There was nothing to keep our clothes in. Even a clothes hanging rack with hangers would do. But this is not a complaint just a feedback. I highly recommend and would return back to this property.

Fantastic location, loved kangaroos at the back of the house, fire pit, and house set up. Cooking equipment (pot, pan, etc) was aged and needs upgrading. Hope to return one day.

The property is located perfectly for those that want to explore the area. Just walk out the door and there are tracks only a minute away. The accomodation is spacious and has options to sleep several people in comfort and a good sized kitchen and dining areas. The rooms are fresh and clean and when you want to sleep it is away from any noise. Will definitely go there again

Location is brilliant and the spaces in the house are excellent - especially with small children in the group. Kangaroos at the rear of the house entertained enormously. Heating was good, blinds worked, televisions worked. But there were rather a lot of issues that weren't really hospitable. Kitchen lacked an adequate sink plug, saucepans lacked lids, teaspoons were in short supply., as were any paring knives. There was no facility for coffee making. Having two slow cookers was irrelevant! Rubbish bin was completely full when we arrived, leaving us nowhere to empty the kitchen bins until the morning of our departure. A bathroom bin would have been useful too. One bedroom lacked flyscreens, which was a problem because there were, unexpectedly, a lot of flies when we arrived. For the first day we were unable to get out the back door because the sunken patio was flooded. Yes there had been rain, but the drain didn't work. This was quite a big downer on arrival. As was the very ratty settee facing us as we walked into the living room. The BBQ looked rather smaller than the one in the photo. It was set up so that fat dripped on to the ground - maybe related to the blocked drain? One knob was missing. A second knob wouldn't properly engage with the gas valve. Thin towels, one per person, were a bit tight for a four night stay. Sorry to write so many negative things. With a little care the house would be brilliant
