Location
Host not very warm lor welcoming and helpful
4.1
Location was great, we used white noise at night to mitigate any street sounds but not sure it was needed (our apartment was at the back of the property), Ido was quick to respond to any queries.
4.1
Great location, definitely for people who are not Jewish. Interior is nice.
Some things like the chairs need refurbishment. The floor wasn't totally clean.

Close to the center, situated right above a very good bakery and bar where you can have an amazing breakfast, and there’s also an Hamburger house next to the bakery. So it’s very cozy and comfortable. Hedo is a great host, he fixed very kindly a little inconvenient happened the first night, and helped us a lot with the trip.

Great location
Ido is wonderful and very helpful
Room was comfortable and kitchen met our needs. We would stay with ido again

The host was very nice and responded quickly to our messages. The location was ok - around 20min walking from the old city and just opposite the bus stop.
The room looked completely different than on the pictures. The furniture is old and definitely needs some refurbishments. The kitchen is very tiny and difficult to move around, the basin in the bathroom broken. I don’t mind staying in places like that but it is rather annoying that the photos posted on booking show something completely different as you just feel cheated.

Close to everything, nice and clean and abit quirky
Lack of parking
4.1
Easy check in and check out (no reception, you receive a code).
Allowed to keep the luggage in the hall after check out.
Practical small kitchen in the room.
Good calm location, about 15min walking from Saint Sepulcro church.
Cleaning needs to improve (blackout curtain and bathroom).

Emanuel Boutique is very centrally located to the old city. About 10 min walk to Jaffa gate. There are a few restaurants on the block. Cafe Yehoshua is a DEFINITE YES!! Amazing food. The kitchen is a great bonus. We had oatmeal with fruit and yogurt in the mornings and that kept us going all the way till lunchtime. The apartment is spacious. The entrance to the building is just to the right of the coffee shop. Ido is extremely communicative and responds right away. We needed a large pan for cooking and he send someone. We are from New York so the traffic did not bother us at all. There is also a laundry facility in the building and he supplies you with detergent. Also try the coffee shop next to the US embassy on your way to the old city. I will also HIGHLY recommend the Hop on Hop off bus tour. You get the bus right next to the embassy. I will DEFINITELY recommend Emanuel Boutique. Thanks for a WONDERFUL AND SPECIAL experience. JERUSALEM is ABSOLUTELY a beautiful, beautiful city!!

very spacious room, comfortable bed, great location (good restaurants in the area), very helpful host!
thin walls, i could hear neighbours on the tiny hall outside the room and neighbours showering in other rooms (pretty loud and annoying especially at night)
4.1
great place. Great apartment. I will rent it again. Altogether 4 units. Perfect for a family, or event in town
4.1
The bathroom, the lighting and the location.
The room was smaller than the pictures, the bed sinks in the middle and therefore was super uncomfortable, there wasn’t a sitting space for both me and my partner, and there was a lot of noise from the street (no good glazing).
Lastly, the owner hasn’t responded to a few messages regarding the property, so felt like we weren’t cared about.

Nice, cozy, with everything you need. The host is nice and attentive. Great location, walking distance from the centre and all the beautiful attractions of Jerusalem but in a nice and vibrant area with small restaurants, cafes and markets. Perfect!
4.1
Very food location in Rehavia, with lots of cafés and restaurants around and 20 minutes walk to both the old city and the new market. Small but well equipped room.
Communication with owner far from perfect. Various messages remain unanswered. Cleaning should be improved, as well as soundproofing, seeing as the location is very noisy. Bed was very hard.
4.1
location in city centre near bus stop.
Kitchen Availability.
Luminous apartment.
Smart-TV, unfortunately not suitable to watch local programs or international channels for language practice purposes, the only reason for us to switch on a TV apparatus.
Cleanliness of structure in general very very poor. It is not enough to take care only of the floor, and the bathroom, in order to clean properly an apartment there are quite a lot of other details: windows, drawers, kitchenwares, light screens, balconies.......
Room very noisy because of road traffic even at night.
Bedroom furniture very essential, double bed, two chairs and small tea table, nothing else.
Bathroom very small.
The light screen in the bedroom was missing, it has been mounted only after a while and various requests.
4.1
Great central location, walking distance to awesome restaurants and a great coffee shop right across the street.
It’s in the middle of a busy part of town so there was a lot of noise late at night and early in the morning

Lovely room , Clean, as in the pictures.
Bed was very comfortable, shower had warm water which I was so grateful for 🤣 , one never knows if there is warm water until you are in the shower.
Lovely staff, needed directions as the building has no no.20 on it so I couldn't find it. The staff at the next door burger restaurant helped me find it.
The area is very lovely, I was only there for 1 night.
The kitchen area is in the balcony and has no blinds and no privacy if you wish to cook, or use it... everyone can see you once it gets dark outside from around 4pm.. it needs blinds for privacy. I closed it off with the room divider blinds but not ideal if you want to use the kitchen after 4pm. The restaurant next door and everyone sitting at the tables can see the balcony Kitchen area.

Excellent location
The Apartment was so unclean that we did not want to put our bags down let alone stay (unfortunately because of an extremely bust schedule we had no time to find different accommodation)
The dirt and dust was so bad it looked like it had not been cleaned for years! All of the walls were completely covered with black marks. There was a large cockroach in bathroom, the windows were so filthy you could hardly see out of them, there was no soap or toiletries so because we arrived Friday evening we had no soap to wash with for 3 days! even the mirrors were not clean, thick dust on all the skirting boards, the floor had not been cleaned.....dead insects under the bed, unclean bed sheets....The light shade in the bathroom had thick thick dust looked like it had never been cleaned!
4.1
1) location 2) size of the apartment 3) amazing shower 4) the mini kitchen was very handy
Small niggles without which the stay would be perfect.
1) no extra bedding provided for the sofa bed 2) there was a bunched up grubby looking duvet and pillow in the wardrobe that didn't have covers so couldn't be used 3) the bathroom sliding door latch was loose and you could very easily get locked in 4) nowhere to hang clothes, no hooks in the bathroom or a rack to hang damp towels etc

A great place to stay, and Ido is a very nice host. Thank you very much! I liked the layout of the room, the kitchenette with a view of the street, there is plenty space for two. There are bus stops close by, a cafe across the street, and a beautiful neighborhood!
4.1
Overall it’s a nice apartment with all required facilities.
You got some restaurants, shops and cafes around the neighborhood.
The apartment itself is suitable for 2 pax maximum, since it’s not that big but was made compact.
Ido the host was responsive and the self checkin process was convenient.
There are a few things worth mentioning, both for the host and for future visitors:
1. It was unclear how to find the building entrance. We arrived to the address just to find a construction site, while the path to the entrance was on the side. Worth to mention that Ido called me back quite fast and explained how to find it so we didn’t had to wait in the heat for to long.
2. In Israel there’s a common practice to take a whole apartment and split it. In this case, we are talking about 4 units next to each other. You can hear everything - when someone goes in/out, when someone takes a shower, flushes the toilet etc… you get the idea. The street and neighborhood itself are pretty quite but if you suffer from noise do consider twice your stay.
3. Although the apartment itself was clean, it does need some fixing - the walls were covered with all kind of scratches, dirt and stains, the shower also looks quite bad like scale on the shower head or the bar chairs which are peeling.
4. The location is not bad, about 15-20 minutes walk from Jaffa street. Eventually it turned out to be not so cool when it’s 35-40 degrees outside and you walk up the hill. While searching I found better or equal prices near Jaffa street area which leads me to the next point.
5. Giving all the above, I think this apartment is a bit overpriced and you can find equal or cheaper prices per night closer to the nightlife areas.
4.1
Loved the location, the general set up of the room/kitchen, generally clean and comfortable. Really easy to find, great air from the windows, super nice atmosphere. I would most definitely return.
The bed had something broken underneath that caused it to slump in funny places--had to play with it sometimes, and the cleaner had missed some left-behind items in the kitchen drawers was took away a bit from the sense of cleanliness, but otherwise great. The set of dishes was incomplete (I'd expect 4 settings _wine glasses, but we didn't have wine glasses)--because we had a second room we ended up borrowing/swapping to balance it out--but if we'd had one room it would have been wine in a coffee mug or juice glass (not the end of the world!).

It was our second time in this room.
The location is great. Close enough to public transportation, there's a great restaurant across the street.
The size of the room is good, also it's facilities.
Ido was very nice and helpful.
It was a little dusty, the sheets were a little stained. The mattress and pillows were pretty uncomfortable.

location was nice!
good air conditioning and room was nice
the room was ok but it was not like in the pictures (there was no sofa in our room). it was not very clean. we found a lot of dust everywhere, kitchen pots and plates where dirty inside and there were hair in the bathroom cabinet.
