There was never anyone in the office. Ever. The door was always locked. You called a number on the window. A woman would tell you where to locate your key. They call it self check in. There was never any type of breakfast. Not even a donut. Even though it’s stated it’s included with your stay. The washer and dryer did not work. The air conditioner was very loud. At least it worked! Thank goodness but so loud. The compressor kicking on and off all night. Impossible to sleep. No blankets on the beds. Thin sheets only. Lots of flys in the room. No idea where they kept coming from. Floors were very dirty. We could hear people in the next room and could smell cigarette smoke all night. We left a day early. This place just made us feel so disappointed. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

Location.
I don’t like giving bad references and I don’t want to sound like a complainer but at this money I was upset. The property is in very poor condition. The lid was off the back of the toilet and sitting on the floor. Found out why, toilet flush assembly was broke. Had to reach in the tank and flush manually. Faucet was falling apart in the shower and pulling off the wall. Shower activate lever was rusted and could hardly work it. Heat quit in the night and room got cold. The landscaping around the building hasn’t been addressed. looked sort of abandoned when we pulled in. Weeds in all the planters and around building. Hot water in shower kept going up and down, at one point got cold, then hot again. You could hear everything in the next room which had small children. Not much sleep……

Close to events occurring within the Island.
Toilet was not working and I had to manually flush the toilet inside the tank. The chain was broken. No discount given for inconvenience.

They have done some remodeling since I stayed last.
We had a room with a kitchenette. They furnish no cookware, cooking utensils, plates or silverware. There was no table or chairs in order to sit and eat.

Location is wonderful
The hot water heater broke so we had no hot water from the day we arrived until the morning we left. So finally able to get a hot shower the morning we were leaving.

Good location for easy access to the Mariner’s Memorial Park to watch a rocket launch from Wallups Island
Prices were a bit of a bait and switch. Booking showed rate of $80 with no taxes, but it ended up higher and my standard double room was $151 for one night. Needed and extra night and their website said rate was $85 for a double standard, but they charged me $120 to stay in the same room. “You can book that one online, but you might not get your same room” was what I was told at the front desk. (There looked to be plenty of vacancies).

Pleasant and clean. Functional for a family one night stop during travel.
Basic, simple and dated appearance. Functional but pricey.

The location was fantastic, if you are looking to go during pony penning, this is right next door to the fairgrounds.
The room was dirty. Surface wise, it looked ok. Walking around from the shower (only had hot or cold water, difficult to take, as you were constantly changing back and forth) my feet were black the next morning. Washing them in the tub, they were filthy!

Great location, friendly office staff member, clean room.
Dirty filled ashtray on ledge outside my window and person talking on his phone at 11:00 at night right outside my window.

Beds were hard as a rock. Old fashion AC in window. I asked for a discount because the beds were so bad but didn’t get it.
Beds were poor quality. The breakfast was nothing more than juice, cereal, and coffee.

lst of all, wen we booked, availabilit;y was only 3 rooms left. When arrival, parking lot was empty. There was no one available to check us in. Called the phone number of times, no answer. The overall apperance of the propery was no where like your broshure. I feel your booking process was very misleading. In my final answer I would not recommend this facility to an;y one who asked. That's my opinion and I'm only speaking for mysellf.
Check the above.

For one night, the experience was good. We liked the location and the pool access. We enjoyed sitting at the pool to watch the fireworks.
The bathroom: The shower spigot and nozzle were not working. The only water that came out was a little hot water and unable to turn knob for cold water. The sink spigot was very hard to move.
The breakfast was disappointing. Our only choices were cereal, bagels without butter, oatmeal packets, and out of juice.
Would like to have at least choices of pastries, fruit, yogurt, and something to drink.

Main room was remodeling nicely. It was clean. Air-conditioning worked very well. Plenty of hot water for showers. The staff was friendly. The pier was nice to watch the sunset.
The continental breakfast was so so. The bathroom in my room needed updated like the main room.

The shower curtain was filthy. Sand in bed and floor. So disappointing for the money paid, We will never stay at this because you don't care about your quest's experience.

The breakfast was the most disappointing. Not much selection. Only enough cereal left for one person. No butter or cream cheese for bagels. No one to help us.
Room was not that clean, building is old and dated.
