Nothing, but al least is quite cheap comparing with other offers
Room really small and bathroom more smaller. Cannot open a suitcase. Moquette of the past with terrible smell. Wi-fi in our room completely unusable. What you see on booking is not really what you get.Option for bed size (130-150 or 150-190) is a scram because in both case you get 150 (we selected the second option)

Beautiful location, cosy atmotsphere, clean and comfortable. Food is delicious and reasonably priced and breakfast was very good

Room was functional, beds were comfortable, food and drink good quality. Packed lunch option available to hikers for a small fee. Scenic location, super-friendly and helpful staff.
Beer choice a bit limited, twin room and ensuite a little on the small side for 2 guys, but comfortable enough for a one (or 2) night stay.

Staff very friendly - excellent evening meal and breakfast.
The double bed pretty much filled the room - tiny bathroom. Disappointed by the size of the room

Great food and friendly, helpful staff.
Particularly appreciated the lift to the start of our walk in the morning. Thank you very much.
The twin room we had was a bit small. Fortunately we didn't have much luggage or it would have been very cramped. This was the only reason for scoring a 9 and not a 10.

Lovely family business with good food, accommodation, location and free pick-up service from Pennine way. No better place to stay if your walking the Pennine way

Bathroom a little small but perfectly adequate, nice toiletries supplied and lovely fluffy towels

Fabulous setting, warm and welcoming, comfy and great breakfast. Will definitely be back.

Staff were friendly and helped us out where possible. The location was remote, without being too far from the local towns. The breakfast was great.
The shower pressure wasn't very good. The bed was a little short for my liking and the detergent used in the bedding was quite irritating to my skin. The room could have been a little more sound proof as we could hear the people next to us snoring loudly.

Lee was very accommodating, we felt very welcomed and comfortable. It had a local feeling

Lovely place to stay, fabulous breakfast. I was attending a funeral and Lee very kindly drove me to the church- couldn’t fault the service or the accommodation.

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. pie for dinner was good.
The room was very small, the restaurant felt like a school canteen, it was very expensive.

A friend and I stayed for a single night in separate rooms as we were walking some of the Pennine Way. The hotel was wonderful with nice clean rooms with everything you would need including an extra blanket etc.
The breakfast was really nice and I particularly liked that other options were offered other than the usual FEB or continental ( I had Eggs Benedict which was lovely).
Lee and his father were so helpful and friendly. They picked us up from the walk and dropped us off again the next day. We were staying on a Monday night when they do not offer food so they ran us into Padfield and picked us up after we had eaten. All of these trips were free.
Amazing stay with lovely people.
Nothing that I can think of.

The place is lovely we had a great welcome from the manager. Our room was nice and had everything we required, the shower was lovely and hot. Although they don't provide evening meals on a Monday, they ordered a takeaway for us, they did offer to take us into Glossop but we were happy with the takeaway. The breakfast was very nice.
Can't think of anything

Lee was lovely and the cooked breakfast was fantastic. Glad I only went of the traditional and not the big as it was plenty.
