The home was located very close to restaurants with good food and a nice coffee shop. On street parking on somewhat busier street. Listing pictures make place look more interesting than in person. Feels like a hostel/ European stay- some people will love this!

Myself and two good friends stayed in this fabulous place and I will say it was perfect. We each had our own rooms with comfortable beds. It was very clean and cozy, and the location was excellent! What a great neighborhood. The only suggestion I would make would be to stick a dimmer on the light in the living space- it’s pretty bright and the lamp was a bit too dim, just for the evening chitchat hours. Honestly though this place was wonderful and I will come again.

This property was a great weekend spot for our trip to Spokane. It was the cleanest VRBO we’ve stayed at, as well as the most unique. Everything about the unit was perfect and we can’t wait to go back!

Great Accomodations and Location - Close to Dining and Airport!
Fantastic place to stay in Spokane, close to dining and the airport. First time staying in a Blockhouse and would definitly come back. Had an issue with the VRBO app and the Property manager picked up on first call and quick to help!

Check In/Ability to Communicate with Owner Was not Good
I had trouble getting responses from owner. After the initial reservation the week before, I had requested a copy of the rental agreement. I never received a reply. The morning of our reservation, I sent a message via VRBO to ask when I would be receiving check in information (i.e. code/access) which are normally available on the VRBO reservation. Never received a reply. I then tried calling the phone number of the owner about 2 hours before our arrive. The message basically said he didn't check his voice mails so message him through the reservation app. I did this and still did not get a response. We arrived at the property a few minutes before 4 pm and still had not received a reply. There was no one on site and unit was locked. We went to the brewery next door to see if they had any other contact information and they had the same phone number. They tried calling, I called again, then texted. Finally after about 30 minutes in over 100 degrees I finally got a response with sorry that this e-mail didn't go through with the information. My past experience is that this is made available on the reservation at the appropriate time, regardless I never received an e-mail. This is why they have the VRBO app for your phone.
Bottom line is owner has to be reachable. What if there had been an emergency? Don't put a phone number if you are not going to answer you phone.
Also, this is a newer building and it was very nice, but the smock detector upstairs still had the plastic protective covering from shipping and was not active. Also the vent in the bathroom was very dirty with construction material.

Great location
This property is in the best location! The neighborhood is very friendly for everything and everybody. The Blockhouse unit was unique and modern, it was perfect for our weekend stay to see family.
The hosts provided coffee, tea and creamers, which was such a nice touch and everything was very clean.
The beds are firm, but comfortable, the lounging space is technically the bedroom with the futon sofa and the kitchenette has a large table with semi comfortable chairs. We were not in the unit much, but I think that’s the point here and it was great. We would definitely rent this again if we are ever back in Spokane.
