Overall, we were able to have a nice time as a family in Larah's house. Everything went relatively smoothly. The internet line was down when we arrived, due to the winter storm the night before. We worked with Larah on this and got a confirmed appointment with a technician from the ISP. The technician was scheduled to come two days after Christmas, but as luck would have it, he showed up in the morning of the very next day. We were happy about the outcome.

house was nicely tucked away in woods. very well updated for age of house. quiet secluded area. some good restaurants in area

This lovely home had all necessary amenities, and was so comfortable to stay in - especially with our little ones! It's close to so many wonderful restaurants, drives, and hikes! When I needed to communicate with the owner/manager, they were prompt to reply. I would recommend this stay to anyone heading to the Catskills.

Home was just the right size and location for us. Convenient to hiking, eating out, and more.

The location is great. You’re close to some great hiking spots, small towns with fun restaurants and lots of nature.
The house itself is pretty close to other houses, so we didn’t have we much privacy as we hoped for. The photos make it look more remote than it actually is.
Great bedrooms with AC so you’ll definitely sleep comfortably. My friend was creeped out by a painted portrait he had hanging in his room which I thought was hilarious.
The yard was rather overgrown/unkept and could use some love. There were landscapers that came the day before our trip ended, so the yard wasn’t tidied before we arrived. Also there was a bear that toppled the trash can of the previous renters garbage which created a bit of a mess in the driveway. I’m happy the bears got some pleasure out of that!
I don’t mind daddy long legs or spiders but my friends didn’t love how many that were around the house! Definitely cabin feels. You’re in the woods so you’re sharing the space with all sorts of creatures.
Be sure to bring water. The well water is a bit funky. The shower kinda smelled like farts because there may be high sulfur content in the water?
If you want to do laundry, be sure to bring laundry detergent. There wasn’t any obvious laundry soap laying around.
The house also has all these random ads with QR codes and coupons sitting around which just made us roll our eyes a lot.
Overall, not our favorite upstate getaway! But you’ll sleep well.

The pictures accurately depict the property. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms clean. There was nice open kitchen and living area. The only negative was that grass around the house and fire pit was long and weedy so not too inviting to sit outside. Still I give the place 5 stars and my other 2 guests enjoyed it as well!

Well located in the Catskills. Many wonderful little towns, shops & restaurants within driving distance. good hiking trails near by. Only caveat: take your jugs of water for drinking & cooking. The sulfur smell of the water is off-putting. But that is the only negative about this property & that was an easy fix for us because there was a little store right down the road.

Catskill Wedding Weekend
The interior of the home was as pictured, nicely appointed, clean and neat. Updated kitchen. Pet friendly. Larah responded to all inquiries. The home is an older home which has quite a bit of settling so the inside stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are not level. Needs a little TLC outside. Overall we had a nice stay a the property which was in a perfect location to the wedding venue as well as hiking. Great for a relaxing weekend and for outdoor activities. I would recommend booking!

Sparkling clean, beautifully decorated authentic farmhouse. Lovely!!
Owner is a breeze to communicate with. House is immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. Beds are very comfortable with nice linens. Towels and pillows are plentiful as is hot water. Kitchen is well equipped. The living room has a wonderful L shaped couch that is great for seating or lounging. Great attention to detail in light fixtures, blanket throws, etc. The house is quite old and has settled so there is noticeable sloping in the floors - especially upstairs. Charming to us but could be unsettling to others. Stairs to the bedrooms are very steep - I think they are called "ladder stairs" and the landing at the top is small. I wouldn't recommend the stairs for those who are less agile or have balance issues. It was not a problem for us. Loved the big bathtub upstairs and there is a great shower in the downstairs bathroom. Air conditioning works incredibly well and is very quite. All the windows have excellent screens so no mosquitos or insects inside at all. All-in-all, a delightful stay. We will return!

A clean and thoroughly updated older home
This is a thoroughly updated older home that was very clean and had nice amenities. The kitchen is very well appointed and the beds, as well as the other furnishings, were very comfortable. The photos of the property give an accurate picture of what to expect. Some of the nice touches were complimentary mixers on a bar cart and a multi-station charger for phones by the TV among other things. The bedrooms have independent cooling controls to make each bedroom the perfect temperature for sleeping. Two things to note are the door to the third bedroom has a low overhead and adults have to duck (not an issue for children). Also, there is a dehumidifier in a large side room (they call it the mud room) that should be emptied regularly in the adjacent bathroom to keep the humidity low in that area. Except for suggesting that dehumidifier be connected to a drain so it wouldn't have to be manually emptied, everything else was wonderful and we would definitely stay there again. Note, we were there in the summer. In the cooler weather heating seasons emptying the dehumidifier may not be an issue

Despite a very rainy Memorial Day Weekend, we had a great stay at this house. Everything was clean and modern, the beds were very comfortable, and the sectional in the living room was a perfect spot to watch movies. We did a fair amount of our own cooking in the kitchen, which was well equipped. We had plenty of room to spread out throughout the house. And we got to do some great hiking and see beautiful waterfalls including Kaaterskill Falls and Vernooy Kill Falls, which were about a half hour away,
