The pictures don’t do it justice! The house and property are awesome. Beautiful yard, everything was very clean and very well stocked. There are so many amazing hikes and lakes in the Nordegg area, and this a perfect spot to stay to take advantage of them. Kurt was an amazing host, and very knowledgeable about the area. He has an outfitter supply shop right on sight to take kayaks and canoes fishing to nearby lakes. Guided hikes, ATV tours, E-bikes, helicopter tours, horseback riding etc. It was too hot for us to make use of the hot tub, but we did make use of the badminton, super Jenga and large connect 4 in the back yard! Highly recommend, we will be back.

This was the best rental experience I have ever had!
A large group of friends went out to the mountains for hiking and a mountain experience. Kurt's property was amazing! It was large and spacious with firepit and hot tub. The Kitchen was very stocked with supplies and perfect for a large group. The cabin was clean and well decorated.
I wanted to smoke some ribs in the smoker and Kurt took the trouble to take pictures of it so I could know how much space I had available. He even set it up on the day of and gave me some great tips.
Kurt was very responsive. Kurt was there to help us with questions during our stay and helped us when we needed it. Kurt even gave us tips on local hikes.
Would highly recommend going there for a large group in the mountains.

We all truly enjoyed our stay.
It’s an amazing place for family and friends to stay.
The house was spotlessly clean and communication with the owner was outstanding.
We would definitely book to stay on our weekend get-aways again.
Thanks Kurt.

The house was great! Kurt and Karla we great hosts. Very prompt in responding and kept in touch with us to make sure all was well. There was a ton of room outside to enjoy nature with a big yard. Having a hot tub was a bonus. Unfortunately, couldn’t use the fire pit because of the fire ban but the set up was perfect. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. Would definitely recommend staying there and hope to be back ourselves.

We were celebrating a 30th birthday and it was a very serene experience being nestled amongst the trees with all the quiet. The hot tub was great and being able to sit the whole family at the one table was perfect.

The very best house to explore Alberta
We stayed in this very well appointed large chalet near sleepy Nordegg to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our children and grandchildren. It was the best place we could have imagined. Our hist Kurt went out of his way to make us comfortable and advised us on the many attractions nearby. The house is large and comfortable and tge outdoor spaces kept the grandchildren busy playing volleyball badminton and soccer. Every hiking outing ended in the delightful jacuzzi. You will never regret renting this lovely place.

Fantastic stay in a remote location
Everything was perfect for our group, the house is stunning and in a beautiful secluded location.
There's an incredible outdoor space with a huge yard, firepit and hot tub. On the inside there are lots of bedrooms, a huge dining table for.group meals and a couple of living areas, all with easy access to large deck/balconies.
The house is stocked with everything that you'd need for a trip and the attention to detail with a focus on the guest experience is excellent.
Kurt is a great host, very friendly, highly knowledgeable and willing to help in any way needed. We're already discussing going back next year because of how impressed we were.

Great location and great host
This is a great place to get away in order to go hiking, horseback riding, and the phenomenal scenery in the area. Kitchen was fully stocked and there was a great table. Only wish there was a couch upstairs. Kurt was awesome to deal with, quick to reply, and would help with anything we needed. Highly recommend for groups of friends.

Amazing for a Large Group
The description is very accurate and Kurt is very helpful answering questions beforehand and throughout our stay. He was both a great host and tour guide.
As per the description, there is no dishwasher or laundry which was tricky for our large group for an extended stay, however we would still highly recommend this place.

Quad trip
Enjoyed our stay in your lovely cabin. We were disappointed that the hot tub was unavailable and we would have liked a washer/dryer as we got soaked from the rain but everything else was great. Well stocked kitchen, lots of room. We will definitely consider another stay.

Family Retreat
Cabin was a great size for our family; loved the large dining room table and decks. Couldn’t find the stream to fish in on property so made the drive to fish lake instead. Very close to trailhead for our Coliseum Mountain hike and would have loved a hot tub soak afterwards; unfortunately hot tub was closed. Hope to get back again.
