Walk a few steps to the elevator to make your way to the pool or beach with access to our outdoor storage which includes beach chairs, sand toys, and boogie boards. Located in a gated community with pools (opening May 1st), tennis courts, and outdoor showers coming off of the beach. Conveniently located within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, and the Emerald Isle bike path. The pier can also be viewed from the unit and is just a short walk down the beach!

Our family of 3 (2 adults and a 6-year-old) really enjoyed our stay. Unbelievable view of the ocean. I felt like I could reach out and touch it. Plenty of comfortable balcony furniture perfect for enjoying the view. It was excellent the building had an elevator and it was also pretty great that the ground floor storage was available for ocean & pool items. It was also pretty nice there were some items in the storage shed for use.
We thought the beds were comfortable and that everything we needed was available during our stay. I was impressed with the availability of games and books.
The host was responsive when I had a question or 2.
As far as the beach, it was great. I never felt like we were crowded. A bit more narrow than the Atlantic Beach end but still plenty of sand. People were friendly
For any future VRBO'ers - to find the ground floor storage, you have to go through the "tunnel like" areas by the elevator. Start at the area near the elevator to the far left (facing the building from the parking lot). There is a "tunnel" at the far left of the building; walk over the knee-high wall and go straight through the tunnel to the back of the building (you will be able to see the pool). Then make a 180 turn to your right and walk in that "tunnel". Storage unit is the first closet on the right. It took us a while to figure out that you had to walk all the way around the building and the storage areas were also facing the back of the building on the pool side as well.

This was our first visit to Emerald Isle but definitely won't be our last. We had a little trouble getting in touch with rental office but after that everything was smooth sailing. Condo was perfect, just as advertised. Clean and updated! We really enjoyed our stay there and won't be the last time we're there to relax.

This is our second visit to this property this year and we enjoyed it very much. However, I would strongly recommend that the king bed be replaced as it is very uncomfortable and ruins your sleep each night. The accommodations are too nice to have it blemished by a very uncomfortable bed. Suggest a sleep number bed to replace the existing king bed.

This condo with an amazing ocean view is perfect for a beach vacation! The owners have obviously prioritized the amenities that are most important to guests! The newly renovated bathrooms are amazing, as is the kitchen! The new washer and dryer are definitely appreciated! The bar-height table and chairs on the balcony, which also look new, provide a beautiful ocean view!The master bedroom mattress is incredibly comfortable, while the master bedroom also has a great ocean view. cleanliness is high on my list of priorities, and this condo is incredibly clean! A big plus is that you will have your feet in the sand on the beach by walking less than two minutes! also, the owner is very communicative and responsive! I would definitely return here!

Lovely condo that has plenty of space for seating and bedroom setup is nice. Got a great view of the ocean from the balcony without having to be oceanfront. Brownie points that there was a safety net attached to the balcony for little kids and felt safe that my kids could go out and not have to worry. Some areas could improve on: kitchen had bare essentials for cooking. Oil, salt, pepper was it. Would be nice to be provided with aluminum foil, plastic wrap, cooking spray, and clean unused sponges. Also, the accessibility was tough to get by. To get to the pool there is about 12 steps down a steep stairway. Also there was many stairs to get to the beach from our access point. It worked ok since our kids were older but if we had any younger or had health issues then I would reconsider the location. Lastly, the shed was a huge bonus stocked with great chairs, beach games, and sand toys. However a map or explanation as to where the shed is at would have been helpful. In our listing it says “under the condo on ground floor” but I found myself exploring where exactly it was at. Overall great stay and felt relaxed.

The condo was nicely decorated and clean. Great views of the ocean. We were really pleased with our accommodations. Provided chairs for the beach and umbrella. I highly recommend this condo and would stay again.

Absolutely perfect!!! The unit is exactly as described. Perfect size for a couple or 2. Clean and well decorated. The view from the deck is incredible! Plenty of places to eat nearby. Do yourself a favor and walk to the Surfs Up Bar & Grill attached to the pier. Order the sweet & spicy shrimp and the grouper platter. You can thank me later!

The Condo was just as described and our family loved the easy beach access and the pool. I was not expecting the kitchen to be as bare as it was besides salt,pepper, vegetable oil, and a couple other spices in a cabinet so we had to go to the Publix across the street to get everything we needed to make meals, right down to aluminum foil. There was also barely any dish soap to handwash big pots and pans, only one old sponge and no replacements or dishrags to wash dishes with, and no trash bags for the kitchen trashcan so I had to buy those as well. Im used to the kitchen being stocked with the minumim needed supplies in condos we have stayed at in the past so was a little disappointed about that.

Nothing super fancy, however you can’t beat the location. You are close to everything that matters on Emerald Isle all while in the seclusion of this gated community. The unit itself has a fantastic view of the ocean, it’s well appointed with beach amenities and all the kitchen tools. For an older building the bathrooms were nicely updated as well as the kitchen. Furniture was very comfortable and overall the unit was pretty well decorated, sometimes these condos are overwhelmed with Knick knacks everywhere but this one had what your need and didn’t clutter the place with a bunch of junk. Lastly and most important the beach was very convenient and just a few minutes walk.

Relaxing Week at beautiful uncrowned beach !
The condo was great ! Very clean and wonderfully stocked kitchen , plenty of cookware and good knives ! It was comfortable and perfectly located with a great view ! Our first visit Emerald Isle ! Grocery stores close by as well as good restaurants! Cannot wait to come back and stay again here !

Apartment was well kept with excellent view of the ocean. We ate dinner on balcony each night of our stay. King bed was very comfortable. We slept in every morning. The only issues that you may want to address are not enough silverware, need larger coffee/ tea mugs, larger cereal bowls and extra blankets. It was a wonderful week, perfect weather and ocean temperature. Thank you for your hospitality.

Beach getaway.
Perfect beach getaway for my husband and I and our 13 year old. Perfect location and great beach. Activities, grocery store and restaurants close by. Great views from the unit, so you can enjoy the beach without being on the beach. The owners were very responsive and provided information before we even asked. Highly recommend this unit!

Seriously, We think each room needs a tv. The toilet lid needs to be changed in master bath. Found no sheets for the pull out mattress on the couch. Other than that our stay was AWESOME!! First time there and will definitely go back!!!

Great Condo With Show Stopping Ocean Front Views
We enjoyed our week stay at Andrew & Erin’s Condo, it was very clean, and I’m hard to please and just as described and as pictured. We enjoyed how close to the sand and ocean it was, as well as the pool, and tennis courts. Very convenient location to all the attractions and even the grocery store! They were very prompt to answer all questions prior to check in, and during our stay!! This is a very great location close to the pier for fishing, our youngest grown son enjoyed, catching crab, and even, shark fishing when he caught them! So much to do, very family friendly, very safe! We highly recommend staying here!! We would stay again!! Thank you again! We only didn’t want to leave! Great place!
We enjoyed our stay at the Beach Hive! The property is wonderful. We enjoyed the beach, the pool, and the view from the patio. The kitchen has plenty of cookware, dishes, and utensils. There are extra blankets and pillows in the bedrooms too. The place is close to everything: shopping, groceries, and restaurants; even a movie theater! It’s a short drive to the pier or you can walk the beach to it. We drove about an hour and checked out the Cape Lookout lighthouse. Overall it was a wonderful stay and we all agreed that we will return again.
