No breakfast.

I liked that the property was well put together and loved the location. Not far out of the city but close to other restaurants, bars, and the Truck Stop. It also put us closer to Secret Beach. Last but not least the pictures online matched what I saw in person.
The shots were a little on the pricier side.

everything was clean, the property is very much maintained.

The room was fantastic. The pictures did not do it justice. It was more than I imagined it would be. The sunsets were breathtaking and the staff were nice, friendly and very helpful. They scheduled us reservations and assisted in anythjng we needed. .

The fact that it is part of Grand Caribe was a positive. It’s the only reason we had an enjoyable stay.
what you failed to mention on the site when I rented from you is that they have construction going on. It’s very difficult to enjoy a vacation when you’re down by the pool and hear all of the construction noise. also, taking showers daily was challenging. The water temperature was either scalding hot or freezing cold. If you did get a comfortable temperature to shower, it lasted for less than a minute. even after after asking them to fix this, it wasn’t rectified. as I stated earlier because it is part of Grand Caribe we were able to cross the street and enjoy the pools at Grand Caribe instead of at Sunset Caribe.

Loved that the room was spacious having a living room, kitchen, half bathroom, and bedroom on the 2nd floor.
Loved that there was a washer and dryer.
The room was very clean. Kitchen had a full set of all dishware and cookware which was very nice.
Construction was fairly nonstop on either side of the hotel. Wasn't as relaxing to be out by the pool with construction noises going on.

Rooms were beautiful and the pool area is very nice.
There is still a lot of construction going on. There aren’t any actual amenities on the property other that the pool so if you want to book things for the spa you have to go down the street to the sister resort. Since there is construction going on there isn’t a lobby, they are utilizing one of the rooms so the space is very tight and people are walking in and out to get to the pool. There are certain days when the pool is closed from 6pm-6am as well as days when you won’t have access to a bartender for the pool side bar. The room’s had a funny smell that just wouldn’t go away no matter what we did. Staff would come at 8am to clean (we would still be sleeping) which prevented us from getting our room cleaned the entire time we were there. Overall we made the best of our stay but a lot of this was not mentioned on the website if it was I would’ve expected it or booked elsewhere instead of feeling like I was duped.

The charges on my bill, not being advised up front by the connected merchants that charges will be billed to the room for certain places.

Pool and room layout. Laundry service and concierge were excellent.

The hotel was beautiful and matched the pictures. The staff was lovely and very accommodating and the location is pretty good.
The food at the restaurants in the hotel was expensive, but very average. I ate there most of the time and it was disappointing. The best meal I had was in the airport at the sun garden restaurant in the terminal. I’d suggest adding local cuisine to the menu instead of poorly executed Americanized food.

We loved the location. 2 miles up north island was perfect. The large hot tub and pool were great. It was so pretty when they were lit up at night. Drinks were great and liked the tv in the pool bar to watch soccer during the day. The room was super clean and felt brand new. It was comfy for 2 kids and 4 adults. We loved access to the kitchen and to do our own laundry so we didn't need to bring as much luggage down. Appreciated the small grocery store walking distance from the entrance to grab a few things for breakfast in the morning and loved the local ice pops in the freezer. Kids had loads of fun trying the chamoy, kiwi, coconut, banana, strawberry etc. The tour company for the Snorkling tour was great that the hotel arranged and having the rapid antigen tests arranged by the hotel for someone to come to our room and test (with a portable printout of results) made it an easy trip. We loved the kayaks on the calm side of the water. We have to come back once the restaurant is completed. Welcome drink was appreciated and staff was super helpful and nice. The sunbeds within the pool were amazing. This pool design was fantastic.
Desk closes at 8pm for staff. Not really a problem but something to note if you are expecting full hotel service. So quiet.
