Excellent locatiion for trip to alton towers.
Paintwork could do with updating. Especialkt places often overlooked window frames skirtings etc

The village, great location, conservatory
Wardrobe in bunk bed bedroom made entrance too tight and could have done with a few more towels.

Lovely little house in a lovely location with shop, local pub & yummy takeaway literally across the road. Only a 15min drive to Alton towers, overall perfect place for a family stay
Very minor The sofabed wasn’t comfy felt like sleeping on springs

decent location for Alton towers, not too far away.
The pictures look nothing like the actual property, it was a struggle getting into the front door with bushes and branches out in front of the door.
There were red spiders all around the property on all the wood around the doors and windows, lots of them, so I had to tell the kids to be careful.
There was a horrible smell from the house which wouldn’t go away from the moment we walked in.
The beds were like bricks - very uncomfortable.
The back door was locked so you couldn’t go out in the fresh air.
The floors were so filthy that all of our socks were black on the bottom & these were brand new out of packing for all of us so I was not happy about that at all.
There was a serious issue with the floorboards upstairs in hallway as if it was about to cave in with severe dips and bad noises - this needs very serious attention.
This is a very small house & I wouldn’t say it sleeps 8 at all, the single beds are touching each other with no room to walk anywhere so unless you are a couple in the rooms it just wouldn’t work.
For this price I would expect better, however I’ve done it now and would stay in a hotel on the complex instead next time.
The location is 15-20 mins to Alton Towers which isn’t bad.

Fantastic location for a visit to Alton Towers.
House is comfortable and provides everything you need.
Main bed is comfortable, though the beds in the smaller room aren't great
4.3
Kitchen well equipped. Tidy house in a good location for us.
Good shower.
Beds and mattress all poor quality, particularly single beds not suitable for adults. Probably not the owners fault but build quality on the upper floor terrible with floors that creaked and walls that seemed devoid of any soundproofing.

Perfect location for our 2 day stay and visit to Alton Towers which was only a 15 minute drive away. There was a shop and takeaway facilities right on our doorstep across the road which was perfect. The property was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed.
Nothing to dislike at all

Ideal location as a base to visit Alton Towers! Great facilities.

Good location to get to Alton Towers, good capacity for 8 people. Back garden has a glasshouse so really nice for the nights after dinner.
Only two toilet paper for 8 people for 2 nights which is not enough. No bed sheets for the sofa bed at all. A bit annoying to have the cars on the back of the property but have to enter through the front as key for the back door was always left inside as requested. Only one toilet for 8 people.

Brilliant location. We stayed as a base for a couple of days at Alton towers. House is clean and well maintained.
Literally the only grip is the beds in the smallest room are extremely uncomfortable. Even my 2 year old struggled a bit with the mattresses.

we have been for a week and the purpose is going to Alton Tower with my family. This property just 15
minutes drive from Alton Tower.
it is located in a very nice town, quite and comfortable. There is a very good fish and chips just faced to this property, and a local convenient store just 1 minute walk. So there is anything you don’t have, just buy it.
It is very clean, all stuff have good quality and fit the descriptions on Booking. Parking is convenient just you can use the rear garden to access your car.
It has wash machine and dryer. it is really convenient after played at the water park in Alton Tower. Also you don’t need to prepare that much cloth if you have a long time trip.
There is no dish washer. I really don’t want to wash dishes after I spend 7 hours in Alton Tower.
Sometime, during the night there is some huge agriculture vehicle pass in front of the door. That could be very noise. I know it is not the property’s fault.
