Great spot plenty of room for 4 Amenities were good.Bed was very comfortable.
No smart TV, so no netflix or YouTube for entertainment. The british TV is shit. And the DVDs were outdated.

Mooi huis. Fijne ligging. Rustige straat.

Location nice and quiet. Facilities were great - everything you would need.
Wrong key pad code given by booking.com. Had to phone letting admin to get correct one. What would have happened out of hours?

The three bedroom property at Radernie Place, situated on the quiet western outskirts of St Andrews provided an excellent touring base for the East Neuk of Fife and the Abertay Area. The property was well appointed with good off road parking, excellent Wi-Fi and close to a Morrisons Supermarket. The house adequately met our needs in a very quiet and peaceful location.
The decor and the front and rear gardens are starting to need a little TLC.

All excellent - immaculately clean. Great location to walk into St Andrews town via the lovely park (30-40 mins) or up through fields to a great view of the town nr the Dukes Golf Course. Also very near Morrisons, M&S and Aldi.
Having only one bathtroom - it could do with another bathroom/toilet.
Outdoor furniture to enjoy the super weather
Garden could be tidied up a bit.

For me the location was perfect. I went for the golf, so it was only a short drive to the golf courses. And I’m the mornings there was a really nice path and park to run around. There were 3 of us staying so had a room each and had plenty of space. Good facilities in the house and had everything we needed to cook up breakfast in the mornings.
Not much could have been better. Would have ideally had a second toilet and a nice seating area outside with a table. But we were very lucky that we had good weather.

The house was mainly clean, fairly modern decor and in a good location, the washing machine/tumble dryer was handy. The electric fire was cosy on a cold night. Kitchen/bathroom/bedding all clean.
On arrival, the doormat was torn and a trip hazard with spiderwebs all across the entrance. The place needs a good paint inside as the chips on the banister and stairway in particular was really tatty and not so good on first impressions when entering the house. Quite a few spiderwebs in hallway and kitchen light. The kitchen light itself is useless as its really not bright enough for the kitchen and quite hard to see in there after dark. There was no mirror in the master bedroom which I found strange. The back and front gardens at one point would have been classed as low maintenance, however now they are just an overgrown mess. There was no back door light for when the dog was outside at night, we couldn't see a thing. Living room blind and bedroom blinds hanging off the wall. When taking mugs out the cupboard on arrival the first two had tea drips all down the outside, meaning they had just been rinsed and put away. Not ideal in covid times. Shame about all these little things, it wouldn't take much to fix the above and then it would be a great place to stay.

Clean and smart. Peaceful area. Really comfortable beds.
Few really minor things ie, ironing board wouldn’t go up, difficult to control the shower water temperature, lock on bathroom door. Some of the woodwork paintwork chipped.
4.0 / 10.0
The beds were really comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped, with tea and coffee provided. The location was very quiet and was about a half hour walk into St Andrews which was such a beautiful town and gorgeous beach.
There was dog poo in the garden, the garden gate was broken and wouldn't shut properly so the garden wasn't secure, there was a disgusting pot full of old cigarette ends outside the back door and some around on the ground too which we had to clean up immediately as we had 2 dogs with us.
There had been leaks from the shower room so the kitchen ceiling has several brown stains on it and when we used the shower room there was a very strong damp smell which we reported to the letting company St Andrews short stays.
The dining room chairs were mismatched, frayed seat cushions with foam coming out, in fact most of the furniture was old and mismatched, no mirrors in 2 of the bedrooms, one of the bedroom windows at the front was covered in bird poo.
Generally we expected more as we were paying almost £400 for 2 nights including an £80 cleaning fee and there were extra charges for bring our dogs which they didn't actually charge us for. There was no welcome manual or instructions for TV, WiFi, dishwasher etc as we usually would expect. We only stayed 2 nights Friday 4pm check in till Sunday 10am check out.
When I phoned on Monday morning to St Andrews short stays to give them feedback especially about checking the damp smell from the shower I was told that I should have phoned them over the weekend and then maintenance would have come to the property but we didn't know there was anyone available over the weekend and we were out making the most of our short time in St Andrews.
I was told I would hear back from them and received an email a few days later which asked us if our dogs had made marks and soiled the sofa!? I responded that we had covered the sofa and chair with throws I brought from home so there would be no wet paws prints from our dogs coming in from the garden and there were already marks on the sofa when we arrived.

very clean and excellent location. Own driveway.
Shower leaked and soaked hall carpet. House didn’t have enough cutlery, mugs, glasses or plates for 4 whilst also using the dishwasher. Agents did provide more when I complained about it. Kitchen sink plug didn’t work so water drained away when trying to wash dishes. Dishwasher didn’t clean well. No drawers or dressing table in main bedroom. No drawers in second and third bedrooms. The windows were filthy. The garden is a total mess front and back and such an eyesore when you’re there on holiday. The neighbours must hate it as they all have lovely tidy gardens. Also beware there’s no garden furniture so don’t expect to be able to sit out and admire the mess either! No lock on bathroom door. Reviewers have raised the garden and lock issues before and nothings changed so owner clearly doesn’t care a great deal. They just want your money.

property was clean, spacious and welcoming
As other reviews stated the garden needs trimmed and a nice touch would be patio table and chairs so that you could sit outside
