What used to be the "Ambassador Hotel" is now breathing with new life! This historic property was fully renovated from head to toe (but with much of the original character still intact). The brick exterior and interior walls add a lot of charm to this perfectly located downtown property with parking!
Your apartment is 1 of 10 equipped with its own washer and dryer, a super-comfy queen-sized bed, smart TV, SUPERFAST WIFI, and the convenience of a delicious restaurant right downstairs.
From the historic exposed brick walls to your front door everything has been renovated! Equipped with your own kitchen (and all the cooking essentials incl. salt, pepper, and olive oil) a washer and dryer if you will be staying with us a bit longer, smart TV linked to WIFI. Cozy seating areas, a kitchen table to enjoy a home-cooked meal, a delicious meal from the restaurant downstairs, or use it as a space to get some work. You will feel right at home :)

The Ambassador by Midtown Stays has its own parking lot next to the hotel and every guest gets one dedicated parking space. You can walk to everything downtown Memphis has to offer, including the famous Beal St, The Orpheum Theater, FedEx Forum, Dozens of Restaurants & Bars, and The National Civil Rights Museum.
Your apartment has digital door locks so you can check in on your own! So meeting you there in person won't be necessary but we will be available 24/7 if you need anything at all just send us a quick message!
Your apartment is located right next to everything! Out front of the historic Ambassador hotel, you'll see the trolley passing by on a regular basis on S. Main street where many fantastic dining and entertainment options are located (including "South on Beale" the restaurant on the first floor of your building! No car necessary here (although you will have a dedicated parking place). You can walk across the street and catch some live music or walk a couple of minutes more and find yourself on the famous Beale St!
Hop on the trolley out the front door of your building, rent a bike or scooter from across the street, grab an Uber, or... if you are feeling adventurous, take a seat on one of the horse carriages that pass by regularly! Plenty of transportation options at your fingertips and a short uber ride to the airport (~15 min)
***Other things to note:
We are right above SOB Restaurant and there will be noise that's noticeable during their normal hours of operation of 11am-9pm (10pm on weekends). We feel the convenience and fun nightlife energy just adds to the experience, but if you need more peace and quite...just make sure you reserve a room on the 3rd floor (units 301-305). Refunds will not be given due to noise level in apartment, rent at your own risk...but trust us, you will love it!
**There is NO elevator on the property.

➤ If you are a local resident, you must contact us before booking
➤ Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; sound will travel through the walls if too loud.
➤ No parties or events allowed
➤ Guest must provide us with a valid ID that matches their credit card information
➤ Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible
➤ NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no "smoking" includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and "use of fire" includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed
➤ There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund
➤ Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We're sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them
➤ We will place a small deposit hold on your credit card 2 days before your arrival to cover any accidental property damage that may occur and it will be released after your check out. If we fail to capture your security deposit, your reservation will automatically be cancelled
➤ We would like to inform you that a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow the platform's cancellation policy
➤ Guests who make reservations for over 30 days must sign our standard lease agreement and agree to a background check before check-in (it will be provided before check-in)
➤ As part of our commitment to maintaining a clean and comfortable environment for all guests, we require a midterm cleaning for reservations lasting 30 days or longer. The midterm cleaning will take place on the 15th day of your reservation. This cleaning is mandatory and is designed to ensure the continued cleanliness and hygiene of the property
➤ The cleaning fee for the mandatory mid-stay clean will be deducted from your security deposit
➤ No pets allowed
➤ Excessively dirty units will incur an additional cleaning fee and will be evidenced with photos
➤ For your security and protection the property is equipped with an exterior camera
➤ Remember to take all your belongings when checking out. Left something? There's a $75 Mailing Fee (not including postage). We aim to return items within 7-10 business days, but please bear with us during busy times. Thanks for understanding!
➤ For security reasons, NO food or package deliveries inside our gated complexes or internal buildings. Please meet them outside the buildings or gates.
➤ If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs

The apartment is within walking distance(2-3 blocks) of everything! The National Civil Rights Museum, Central BBQ, a cute local grocery market, Beale Street, Flying Saucer, The Orpheum, and more! We drove a short 5 minutes to Sun Studios. The place was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for a short 3 day visit. Will definitely recommend to anyone I know visiting Memphis. We felt safe and secure! It’s also above SOB which has fantastic food. We loved our stay here.

First time in Memphis. Loved the facility and ease of booking, communication, and Gus Chicken around the corner was best chicken I ever ate. It was great having onsite parking. I wish we would have stayed more than one night but will definitely be back in the future to stay with you again. I do recommend that the cleaners check under couch cushions because there were chip crumbs from previous guests. There were also ants on the night stand and in the bed. But over all the place was clean and I highly recommend staying here.

Your unit was perfect. The bed was comfortable and there was no outside noise to speak of. We were surprised when suddenly the outside door code was changed on our second afternoon. Luckily we had our phones with us. It would be good to alert future renters in advance that the outside door code might be changed.

We would absolutely stay here again! The property manager had clear communication, was readily available for questions, and communicated clearly for the easy entry and check in/out.
We felt safe here in this well lit area, and the entire building and parking area were inviting and a great base for exploring the city of Memphis.
This place is in the perfect location to walk to city highlights such as the Peabody Hotel to see the Duck March, Corner Bar at the Peabody for music and happy hour, and for a walk along Beale Street.
It is right across the street from the National Civil Rights Museum and the Lorraine Hotel which is the preserved location of Martin Luther King's death.
The restaurant below SOB (South of Beale) was an amazing bonus for a quieter part of town dinner, just downstairs from our 3rd flour unit. Even though it was the 3rd floor I highly recommend this unit because there is no noise above as it is the top floor, and no noise before from the restaurant.
The stairs were safe and easy to climb, the temperature of the unit was perfect and easy to adjust, water pressure was good, no problems at all.

We loved this property!! In fact, we have recommended it to everyone who asked how our trip went. The location was perfect…close enough to Beale Street you could easily walk to it, but far enough away you weren’t disrupted by any noise; and walking distance to several coffee shops and diners. We had a dedicated parking space in a well lit/safe area. The apartment was very clean and had plenty of room for my husband and me. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a perfect stay for my wife and I in Memphis for a couple of days. The communication with Tim was excellent and hospitable.
Very close proximity to the National Civil Rights Museum (highly recommended). We walked to the museum and to Beale Street. Good restaurants all around (including right below apartment). Also highly recommend Bedrock Eats and Sweets for fellow gluten free friends, located just around the corner from apartment!

This condo was perfect for my stay in Memphis. It was nicely furnished with everything you could need, with comfy bed and large bathroom. Conveniently located within walking distance to great restaurants and nightlife on Beale Street. Check in was seamless and we has a reserved parking space. Had great communication from management. This apartment was in the perfect location! 90% of the things we wanted to do or see were within walking distance. With the on-site parking we didn’t have to pay to park and were able to keep our vehicle there while we walked, saving so much money on parking. Not having an elevator wasn’t bad either, just not great while bringing luggage up and down (we had a lot due to having a baby with us). We would 100% stay here again and have recommended it our family and friends if they every visit Memphis!

Great spot on Main st in Memphis. Walking distance to pretty much everything! Also have the option of riding the trolley or scooters. The place was clean, the building had clearly been recently remodeled. Communication from the house was great! For those looking to stay, few things to keep in mind would be there are stairs to get to the specific unit on the third floor. Also be mindful there is one parking spot available for the unit. Overall, I would definitely return and stay!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Lovely, roomy unit in the perfect location. First time visiting Memphis so we wanted to do the Civil Rights Museum, Beale Street and the Peabody. All easy walks. Ate at 3 great restaurants (recommended by welcome info from host) within 5 minutes. Thank you for making this a great trip! Hope to return for more of Gus's Fried Chicken. OMG. Right around the corner!

This is a beautiful space. Loved everything about it. Very clean and safe. This is listed as a 3rd floor apartment but even though there is not an elevator don't let that stop you. Parking is close, right downstairs, and there is really just two sets of nice wide stairs. And the restaurant on the 1st floor is great.

When I can walk around barefooted, it’s a great sign! We are in our 70s so the biggest struggle was the 2 flights of stairs. We did manage and considered it a needed workout. Everything we needed was there (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner). We walked to the Peabody, Beale Street, but drove to the Flight Restaurant (although it was a little less than a mile and walkable). We enjoyed cocktails each evening at the S.O.B. Bar downstairs before turning in. It was quiet and I would definitely stay again!

This property was perfect my husband and I were looking for a getaway from home and were excited to get back to Memphis. This property more than exceeded our expectations! It was perfect the location was prime the weather was gorgeous so we chose to walk to Beale Street and were there in less then 5 mins. The trolley was also an option being so close. The apartment was clean and welcoming the bed was comfy and bedding was so comfortable the wooded blinds were great and we took advantage of the sleeping mask! The apartment was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. Nothing but positive great things to say about our stay. Check in was so easy as was check out being in the 3rd floor was exactly what we expected the steps were a breeze and easy access parking was assigned and convenient we will absolutely be back and we will definitely be staying here again! Communication with Tim was great and responsive! Overall perfect getaway
