Great place to enjoy a vacation. This is our yearly vacation destination because it is clean and accommodating. Hosts are quick to reply. Great location for us and they have fun games to play.

Property was as advertised and very clean. We were comfortable and plenty of room for the 3 of us and our two dogs. Hubby would appreciate a TV antenna for local channels vs just streaming service, but wifi worked great. Nice boat dock and quick access to great fishing spots as well as a nice setup for fish cleaning. Host was very responsive and we had no issues during our 6 day stay. Will definitely rebook.

This is a remodeled lake house that is cozy and has beautiful lake views off the deck. It is nestled in a forest with a new bike trail a block away. It is close to the Soudan Underground Mine, the International Wolf Center, the North American Bear Center, and lots of state parks and national forest. The owners were great.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. It had everything we needed and was in a great location to travel around the lake. The kitchen was well stocked and the furniture was nice to relax in. The dock is set up well to power the boat and it isn't a long way from the house at all. Fish cleaning was easy with a big table near the dock. I would rent this home again.

We had a nice time at this lake house. The views are beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the the upper deck. The living room is small but very cozy and comfortable couches. We didn’t use the downstairs except to wash clothes, the stairs are very steep for us older folks. The kitchen could use some more microwaveable safe bowls for cooking and maybe an electric can opener for those of us with weak hands but everything else was good. The shower and toilet upstairs are very short so if you are tall like my husband you’ll have to bend over and it was hard for me to get off the toilet but it was clean and everything worked so it was all good. It was a quiet peaceful place and we really enjoyed our stay.

This lake home fit our family just right. Our 8 and 12-year-old kids said “there was so much to do!” It has lots of space in the lower level dedicated to playing games so they could entertain themselves when adults were busy. The best part of this home is definitely the deck. It has the most lovely view overlooking the lake and you literally feel like you’re in a tree house. The dock situation is great. We have a 19’ Lund and felt like it was safe the entire time (no dangerous boulders or strong waves). It’s tucked in the bay just enough. We swam in the lake multiple times but it’s best to have water footwear. The swim area is partly rocky and partly soft bottom but no weeds. There is a full flight of steps to the lake but they are well-built with railings. The kitchen is very well-stocked and we never were at a loss for anything. The entire house was extremely clean and comfortable. Best of all, the hosts are spot-on…from detailed instructions to being super responsive, it really seems like they are on top of it all. I would highly recommend! We already want to go back! It’s hard to find a vacation home that has it all AND allows dogs. Thank you so much, Sean and Amy!

Our second stay at the house was great, just like we remembered from last year. Very quick and easy to communicate with owners. It’s a convenient location, being close to boat launch and town, yet still able to get away from it all! Thanks so much for having the house open to rentals.

We had a great family vacation at the lake house! It was perfect for our family of four and our dog. We had a great time relaxing at the lake house, making s’more’s over the fire pit, watching the beautiful sunsets, and taking our boat out to fish. The lake house was very clean and comfortable, and in a great location. We look forward to staying again!

We found it difficult to leave; two weeks was not long enough time. The quiet and privacy was wonderful. The house was clean and had some thoughtful touches. Our dog loved the yard and deck. The sunsets were breathtaking. Successful and memorable vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay at this home, and thank the owners for all they do to make vacations easy and enjoyable. Dock was great for our 18 foot Ranger, and we had no problems leaving boat in water for the stay. Driveway was a little tricky for boat trailer, and we ended up backing out rather than turning around by house. Steps are steep in house so we would not bring our older relatives to this property for a family getaway. House was good for my husband and me, and we would definitely stay here again.

We loved our week at this property. The house is comfortable and contains everything you need and more. Everything we impeccably clean. The dock is great for anyone bringing a boat, and it is also easy to launch kayaks and paddleboards straight from there. We caught lots of fish (including a 20 inch walleye off the dock!), relaxed on the spacious deck, played lots of board games, and had a wonderful time as a family. Thanks to Sean and his family for sharing the home!

We had the perfect family get together at this wonderful home. There was something for everyone as some went fishing and others kayaked, canoed and hiked. We especially loved that the kitchen equipment was so much better than other VRBO's were we have stayed and the fish table under the deck made cleaning fish so easy. We also appreciated the bottom floor bedroom and rec room as it gave everyone a bit more privacy. The sunsets were beautiful and I loved going out on the deck at 2am to hear the loons and see the stars.

Nice, comfortable house with beautiful view.
Lots of room to lounge inside on comfortable couches. Since my husband and I went with my son, his wife and baby it was great to have 2 different levels to afford each family some privacy. Easy TV access for downtime. Well stocked and functioning kitchen. The deck was a real highlight with comfortable chairs and a great view! The lake is really pretty. Overall a very comfortable and relaxing stay.

Very lovely home which included all the amenities you need.
Very nice home! Dock was in excellent shape! Being able to bring our dogs was priceless and the property allowed them some freedom to roam without worry. Neighbors were nice and nicely greeted the dogs when they would wander over just to say “hi”. Sean is a great host and was quick to reply. We enjoyed our stay and without hesitation would encourage you to do the same! Thanks again Sean!!

June stay
The property was clean. The owner kept good communication with my questions. Positives were the awesome view from the deck overlooking the lake, the dock was good for our boat, there were comfortable beds, comfortable couches, and the house was very clean. The bathroom was nice. It would have been even better to have 2 bathrooms. I slept in the basement. It was cool and clean.
The only negative of the basement is the low ceilings. Thus, it is difficult to have fishing rods down there. There were two queen beds upstairs that were also very nice. The kitchen was small but well furnished. Overall rating of 4 stars. Thanks for the stay!

Snowmobile trip
This is very nice and comfortable house in a great location on the south shore of Lake Vermilion. It is private, quiet, and secure. About 1/2 mile from the snowmobile trail and about 3 miles from downtown Tower. Sean, our host was very quick to respond to any questions we had, and made the process easy. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect getaway
A wonderful cabin for our Thanksgiving holiday! It had everything we needed - a great view, comfortable large living space, cozy kitchen and a fireplace to warm your toes. The Bald Eagles are plentiful and listening to them each morning was awesome! The lake is beautiful! We'd love to come back again

Will stay again
This home is very clean, inviting and adorable. The location on vermillion is great. The homeowners were very helpful. They had suggestions for restaurants, beaches and activities. We went to the Soudan Mine Tour (only 5 minutes from the house). It was the coolest tour our family has ever been on. I never would have known about it if the owners didn’t tell us about it. We will definitely be staying here again.

Great place to stay on Vermillion!
Had a great week at the property! Everyone had their own space and had lots to do. Kids really enjoyed the Lovesac in the basement! Great deck views for morning/evening relaxation with coffee/cocktails! Only a couple minutes from two beaches and one had a lily pad for the kids! Hosts were very helpful with any questions we had and they replied back promptly! You will enjoy your stay here! We sure did!

A perfect cabin
The cabin is renovated and very clean. Kitchen is well stocked and the grocery store is within a 10 minute drive. The kids really enjoyed the basement. Plenty of games and a giant bean bag to relax on. The deck has a beautiful view of the lake. It is the perfect place for morning coffee. The dock was fantastic and had plenty of room for our boat. We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing view of the lake!!!
Our family had a wonderful vacation at this beautiful lake home. This home as everything we needed. It was super clean and had comfortable beds. There was plenty of room for yard games which our family likes to play. We rented a pontoon for a day and cruised the gorgeous Lake Vermilion! It was sad to leave at the end of the week but will certainly return one day. Sean and Amy were very easy to contact about anything we had questions on. Thank you for allowing our family to make memories at your lake home!

Beutiful Lake House!
Our family of five had a wonderful vacation at this property! The pictures are accurate. There is plenty of space for a large family to relax in with four TVs! The house was spotless and had a well-stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable with spacious rooms and closets. Bathroom and kitchen towels were provided. Air-conditioning, new deck, and dock were a plus!
The house has amazing views of the lake with gorgeous sunsets! A grocery store and a few restaurants are nearby. Two beaches are super close, and one has a floating mat that my kids loved to jump on! The owner was quick to respond to questions and even shared some fishing tips!! Lake Vermilion is our favorite lake to stay at in Minnesota! We hated to leave and can't wait to stay here again!!

Perfect place, great host
This is a fantastic place to stay!! We spent a week and would have loved to stay longer. The place is very nice, convenient, and has a private boat dock. The view of the lake is one of the best I've seen, and the property manager was top notch. If we hit Lake Vermillion again we'll definately be repeat customers.
