Originally built in 1918, this quaint and welcoming house enjoys a location just a half-mile from the beach, and is the ideal place to enjoy your next family getaway! Inside, the home is dressed in lots of comfortable furniture and homey décor, with glossy, burnished floors and two levels of comfort and convenience. You'll love the classic layout and amenities that await around every corner. The living room has a flatscreen TV for kicking back with an afternoon ballgame or your favorite Netflix movies and shows. The house's heaters and baseboard heat will keep everything nice and warm during cold evenings. The full kitchen has everything you need to create a wonderful meal, the dining table has enough seating for up to four guests, and the dishwasher will help you clean up afterward. Take advantage of the free WiFi to download a good playlist to your device or research a new adventure. Fire up the private gas grill to host a fun-filled cookout with friends. When it's time to wrap up an evening, the two bedrooms will ensure you have a nice, restful sleep. Good thing too, because with so many fun activities nearby, you're going to need the rest!

Take a short walk downtown or enjoy a picnic at Laite Memorial Beach, just a half-mile away. Liberation Charters is just a mile-and-a-half north and ready to take the whole gang out for a three-hour sailing tour of the Bay! You'll have a number of terrific art galleries to explore such as Camden Falls Gallery, Carver Hill Gallery, and Ironbound Gallery.

There were large amounts of dead bugs in several places, as if the exterminator had just been and they had all crawled out of the woodwork to die. Also the beds were extremely uncomfortable, and lack of AC was a problem on a couple of warm nights. The house itself is simple with plenty of rustic charm, and the location excellent.

This is an old house and has the smells of an old house. Front steps are broken, bottom steps broken in half, hand rails are very loose. Is a 15 minute walk into town, nice. Good restaurants and a market. Beds are old. Furniture is worn, could use slip covers. Oven in kitchen is too close to refrigerator making it impossible to oven all the way. Beautiful staircase though.

The Positives +++: 1. Great location 2. Quiet 3. WiFi 4. Self Check in 5. Well equipped kitchen 6. Easy Parking Unfortunately there were some Negatives - - - : 1. A vase of VERY dead flowers, in smelly water, left in the kitchen. 2. Spent, mouldy coffee grounds left in the french press. 3. The place had obviously not been vacuumed. 4. A broken step up to the door. My husband fell and injured his foot. 5. No instructions for anything. 6. Minimal heating and only downstairs. It looked like the only thing done to prepare the property for our arrival was a bedlinen and towel change. We did contact Vacasa and they offered to send housekeeping. We declined for the following reasons: 1. We didnt want anyone coming whilst we were out and our belongings were there; an important reason for us renting a property rather than a hotel stay. 2. We didnt want to wait in for housekeeping to come, we were on vacation after all. We requested a discount but were refused. This is the second disappointing property we've rented through Vacasa where housekeeping has been, shall we say, disappointing. Considering the high price of this property it was really disappointing.

Quaint cottage located in a quiet neighborhood, but just a few blocks from the lively Camden downtown. Very comfortable stay for three of us (just watch out for the rickety front steps!).

It was clean, well appointed, had everything I needed in the kitchen, and a good location. I walked to the Mariner's Inn in the morning for breakfast. I would like to rent it again next June. How do I go about doing this?
