Great, near perfect hotel: ticks all the boxes to feel good. Gym and swimming pool are very well designed. Simple, comfy, clean high standard.
No breakfast buffet, which we think is important to give a cosy feeling. There is a breakfast menu, but we would prefer going out.

This hotel is immaculate, modern, and welcoming. There is tasteful decor throughout the lounge and common areas, which include a fireplace, as well as other secluded nooks and seating areas. Our room was quiet, fresh and boasted a large TV. Great use of colors and space. The beds were plush and simultaneously supportive. The mounted, adjustable nightlights at the bedside with dimmers were a nice touch. Great water pressure noted in the rainwater shower. Staff were pleasant, professional, and readily accommodated a late check-out. Of the hotels my family stayed at during our week-long vacation in California, this was easily our favorite. We will definitely be coming back.
The $20 fee for parking.

Clean

Convenient location and very clean.
We had a drink and appetizers during happy hour. The bar tender was extremely rude and tossed our appetizer plates at us. The manager saw her do it and immediately talked to her but that is unacceptable. I believe the only reason she faked a smile from there was Because the manager hovered around.

Everything was really nice and super clean

This seems to be a new hotel with an aesthetically pleasing decor. I really like the neon art at the elevator. The outside space is inviting and playful. Law games and tacos were available in the late afternoon and evening, creating a family, and pet friendly environment.
This hotel is 4 or 5 stars, but it lacks somethings I would consider standard at a 4-5 star hotel. Room service for one, and no bellman, plus the shower only had an overhead shower head. Upscale facilities always have an additional hand held shower head. The last thing is to be green house keeping is only every 3rd day unless you call and ask for daily service. For me, part of the experience of being in a luxury hotel is leaving the room and then returning and it's all made up. It's like magic, you don't tell them when you leave, or when you plan to return, but the room is always done. It just seems most hotels are providing less services, however the rates do not reflect the reduction of services.

This was our first time staying at the Ameswell. I would most definitely stay there again. It's right off the freeway but it was very quiet (no freeway noise). Also, very close to Shoreline Amphitheatre. The entire facility was very clean and staff was very helpful and had excellent customer service skills. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. My husband said this was the best nights rest he's had in a long time! Beautiful pool/entertainment area. Also dog friendly if you bring your four-legged fur baby. Overall, it was an excellent experience!
The only downside was you have to pay $20 to park your car in their parking garage. The parking structure is right next to the hotel and very secure but it seems strange to have to pay for parking at place when you are staying in their facility.

The location and facilities are spectacularly beautiful everything is new, clean and modern… Also beautiful gardens, restaurant, bar, coffee area, and lobby lounge areas
We liked everything. Of course we would love free parking at $20 wasn’t too bad.

location and was very clean/comfortable
No hot tub, lac of food choices at restaurant, no room service, parking. For the cost per night I think all of these things could be improved.
