A week long stay in this delightful house was great fun and a lovely way to enjoy Black Mountain. The immaculate house is filled with wonderful touches and the porch? Well, it’s amazing! Within moments of all of the treats of the town, it is a fast trip to Asheville and a
great place from which to plan a variety of day trips. The host was most helpful and very hospitable. As soon as we can, we will return to this perfect cottage in our favorite town!

The house was incredible clean, welcoming and well stocked with an assortment of items to make your stay comfortable. Location was perfect. The front porch was idyllic and the back yard was cozy and perfect for afternoon sunny hangouts. One can easily walk almost anywhere downtown or to Montreat if you are up for a longer walk. We attended Easter service directly across the street and the church was incredibly welcoming. I have not hesitated passing along this house to friends who might want to visit Black Mountain.

This property was perfect for our stay in Black Mountain. This home serves as a great home base for exploring the area. Super super easy to walk to all the shops and food in Black mountain and a quick drive to downtown Asheville. There a lots of nice touches provided by Martha and her home is very clean! You will love the yard and porch to take in the mountain views and air. The home is quaint and has lots of nice original charm, but has plenty of modern features too like the coffee maker, TV and a fridge with water and ice dispenser. We will be back!

The home has everything you need for a weekend getaway in a quaint the mountain town. We walked to dinner in the town each night and enjoyed morning runs at the nearby lake trail. The front porch or back yard are the perfect spots to relax as well. We will be back!

Cute house that is walking distance from downtown Black Mountain. Nice house layout and large, covered front porch. Quiet area except for the car traffic from a main road the house sits off of. Great host. Accommodated us with being able to check out a little bit later. Be cautious pulling in the driveway between two large trees. I was not expecting to have to empty my trash to the outside trash receptacle, remove my bedsheets and put used towels at the washing machine given I paid a house cleaning fee. It was nice to have a small washer dryer combo if needed.

We loved this house! It is so cute and charming and a perfect place to stay in Black Mountain. It is so close to downtown. Honestly, we debated a less expensive house further away from downtown but we are SO glad we splurged and stayed within such close walking distance. We enjoyed our walks for morning coffee, dinner, and for a casual beer at one of the many wonderful restaurants. Lots of fun shops for antiques too. Black Mountain is just adorable and everyone is so friendly .The house is nicely furnished, plenty of items in the kitchen, and an abundance of games (which we really used!). The house was warm and welcoming when we arrived. The host was quick to respond with answers to our questions. We would stay here again in a second. In fact, we hope to return next year. One of our best VRBO experiences for sure! Thanks for a lovely stay!
