The place is a good idea for bringing people who don't camp much, but a few small changes could make a huge difference. The fire stove is a nice feature, and the bathroom/kitchen are nice to have. Everything was sufficiently clean and easy to figure out.
Most of the issues were with upkeep and maintenance. For example, the "blinds" or covers for screened openings don't all close, which is not by design (you could tell they were torn or just stretched). They have gaps, letting light, air, and probably bugs in. It kind of defeats the purpose of a tent, although ventilation is necessary for when you have a fire inside. But on fall nights, these extra openings amount to a freezing environment subject to intense drafts. We know from experience. I'm used to it, by my girlfriend is not a camper. The door just doesn't close all of the way: it's warped, so the top is totally open. Also very basic instructions for the wood stoves would go a long way for many people.

The pool was lovely
It was very expensive for what it was. There was supposed to be no noise after 10pm but unfortunately we had other people around us playing music and being very loud around us until early hours of the morning.

If you’re looking for a couples get away this is NOT the place to go. When we first arrived we were told that if we had a noise complaint to just call the number and they would take care of it right away. The first night we called and we were basically told to handle it ourselves. Our neighbors were extremely loud both nights in a row. We didn’t get to sleep until 1am and we were woken up at 6:30 am by the same neighbors. With what we paid for what we thought would be a good couples vacation was a complete waste of money and time.

Great way to enjoy the camping experience without all the work.Great location.Tent was comfortable & well equipped. Coffee at the lodge is great.
Bathrooms are a hike from tent~more bathroom facilities! We got pizza from the lodge & it was horrible-dough was raw. Little to no lighting which is great for star gazing but tuff to navigate based on the Lexus we saw in the ditch waiting hours for a tow. Needs some reflectors.
