It was just a great place to stay with family and friends. Great location, wonderful lake view, enough space for 6 people. Nice, clean and cozy place. I will highly recommend this Quick communication with owner.

This was a wonderful safe location. I would recommend it to people with children that are older so you don’t have to worry about them falling near the water. The view was stunning. We went and kayak and the mentor Lagoon, which was very nice. We also went to Mentor headlands Beach, which was very nice, the host had various nice touches like complimentary toiletries and snacks. Beach towels, and sand chairs. I would highly recommend this home. Thank you so much for a lovely day.

We had a two night stay at this great Lake Erie location! The sunsets were amazing! The home exceeded our expectations , and our stay was very relaxing. Our host Linda was very accommodating and personable. Thanks Linda and Scott for sharing your beautiful home!

Comfortable, scenic and beautifully decorated. I usually buy floral arrangements and seasonal decorations when I spend time with family away from home but this home needed absolutely nothing. We had a great time hanging out with our close family members in Ohio. In addition, the home was close to major stores, malls and our family.

I chose this little house on the lake for a reunion. I brought my elderly mother to visit her elderly sister and neither of them are able to handle stairs anymore, although they are otherwise able to get around pretty well. The house suited us. It was tidy and cozy for three and has a lovely yard and view. There were very few negatives other than the midges which were everywhere but certainly not the fault of the house. Also, I misread the specs, and thought one and a half baths meant there would be a tub and shower, but there is no tub, and only one shower. Which was fine for the 3 of us, but would be tricky had there been more.

This place had everything you need. The owners thought of every little thing to make your stay perfect. The home is very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The view of the lake was amazing. We had a wonderful stay.

Beautiful location! Loved sitting on the deck where we ate most of our meals and enjoyed the sunsets Our 9 year old children were delighted with the Canadian geese that visited frequently. The sitting room with its many windows was another favorite spot.

If I could rate this property 10 stars I would! The pictures are spot on and the cottage was absolutely sparkling clean. Our hosts made sure we had everything we could ever need including some toiletries! Thoughtful touches like tissues and paper goods, dish soaps and hand soaps, combined with a fully stocked kitchen, was such a welcome change from other rentals. The view is amazing and it was so relaxing to stare out over the water and watch the sailboats from those comfy Adirondack chairs. The deck was cozy and private with beautiful flower pots and lighting when the sun went down, making it a perfect spot day or night. We wanted a quiet waterfront spot to relax and unwind and we were totally blown away with the perfection we found here. Everything was clean and new and comfortable. And we can’t wait to return.

The view of the lake from the living room, deck, and back yard is wonderful. Bald eagles were flying overhead, butterflies and goldfinches in the wildflowers. Grocery and Biggie's Custard are nearby. A well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. We were very happy with our too-short stay.

We are five sisters, ages 63 to 83, who have been getting together every year (except Covid year) sincce 1990, although we live hundreds of miles apart. Linda and Scott's place is one of our favorites: the view, the location, the amenities, the comfort, and escpecially the communication with the owners, are all exceptional. We ate in for every meal, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Thank you, Linda and Scott.

Peaceful, quiet place by the lake, well stocked with everything you need. Good for us who struggle with stairs, everything was on one floor. One bunk bed so, we old folks couldn’t use one bed, but it’s a great place to escape. Linda was supper nice and responsive. I will definitely be back—and did I mention it’s on the LAKE. View is wonderful even though weather didn’t permit being outside—officially Spring but felt like winter! — that’s Ohio weather for you!

The house was so comfortable. Clean, well-appointed and the host was super helpful. It was very cool being on the lakefront. There was plenty of room for the six of us. We were there in the winter, I hope we have the chance to go in the summer and spend time outside on the lakefront.

My grandmother was 91 years old when she passed this year. She lived a long and full life and to honor her we wanted to just have a few family members over in a place that we felt set a tone of peace by the water. This place was beautiful place to do so.

I was delighted from the minute we arrived. The home was decorated for Fall and lovely. Everything was very clean. The beds are comfortable and the living room has plenty of seating to enjoy the gorgeous view of the water! The location is close to stores and restaurants. We had no problems finding what we needed. Of all the places we’ve stayed the last few years this was by far the most comfortable and homey! The owners definitely go the extra mile and we can’t wait to return.

My family and I (just three of us, including a 7-year-old kid who enjoyed the bunk bed and using her scooter around the neighborhood) spent a week at Linda and Scott's lovely lakeside cottage. We came for a quiet beach-ish vacation and enjoyed everything about our stay: sleeping with the windows open and listening to the "tides" of Lake Erie, waking to bald eagles flying overhead and landing in the trees, sipping coffee right at the edge of the water, preparing meals in a clean, convenient kitchen accompanied by an incredible view of the water and sky, getting easily to Cleveland for museums and shows, to nature destinations such as the many metroparks, plus Holden Arboretum and Headlands Beach. BBQ dinners on the porch during sunset were fabulous. Rainy days were cozy on the comfy couches and well-lit and airy living room. House was impeccable. New bathroom has an awesome rain shower. AC easy to use. Telescope super cool. Laundry was easy to do (fastest dryer ever!)

I HIGHLY recommend this home!! We are a family of busy adults and this home on the lake was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The view of the lake was spectacular, the home was clean, organized and had EVERYTHING you would need! We seriously didn’t want to leave!! The communication with the owners was clear and easy to follow. If you are looking for an amazing getaway, you could not stay at a more comfortable and cozy home!!!!!!
