Just what we needed.

15 minute walk to the Christmas market. Accommodation hosts were so lovely, 😊 You can park up the road at the shops for free in the day.

No food was provided - not even a biscuit

Bathroom was dirty. Bedding had not been washed. The place was a small uninsulated and unheated converted garden shed.

Affordable and quiet

The place covered all the basic needs, it was clean and affordable compared to other places around and not too far from the town centre. The area is quiet and if you are looking for something to eat there are a couple of shops around.

It would have been perfect if the room was equipped with a small fridge and a kettle.

Hält was es verspricht.

Lage war praktisch, zu Fuß 30min ins Zentrum, mit dem Bus 15min. Es war ruhig, Betten waren ok, Zimmer war in Ordnung.

Das geteilte Bad war nicht sauber im engeren Sinn, das Wasser für die Gäste wurde selten nachgefüllt (und ich fürchte immer in dieselbe Flasche, was etwas unhygienisch wirkt).

ACCOMMODATION WAS AS BOOKED AND SATISFIED MY REQUIREMENTS.

ACCOMMODATION PROVIDED ALL THAT WAS EXPECTED. ABLE TO COME AND GO AS REQUIRED. PLEASANT HOST.

DIFFICULT TO BE OBJECTIVE, POSSIBLY THAT ROOM AND SHARED BATHROOM WERE NOT ON THE SAME FLOOR. AS YOU WOULD EXPECT A SHARED BATHROOM IS A SHARED BATHROOM, BUT WAS ALWAYS CLEAN. NO DRIVEWAY PARKING AVAILABLE AND FELT WARY OF THE CONTROLLED PARKING RESTRICTIONS IN THE SURROUNDING AREA SO PARKED A SHORT DISTANCE AWAY.

Great value short stay accommodation

don’t be put off by the photos the room sizes are good with tele in each one Tea and coffee available beds as expected reasonable. the bathroom is very spacious with a good size and effective shower

The bedrooms are upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs but this is only a slight problem The owner doesn’t speak much English but that isn’t a problem. We had a one night stay and found it good value

Absolutely fine for a quick overnight stop

Basically an air b & b room in someone's house. Private room, shared bathroom. No kitchen or breakfast facilities were available, which I knew when I booked. I knew I would be arriving at 9pm and leaving at 9am the next morning so this wasn't an issue for me. The lady did offer me a cup of tea when I arrived though. She was very nice.

It's not centrally located. I got to Winchester train station a little after 8pm, waited 20 minutes for a bus, then had to walk 15 minutes to the house with my suitcase. Taxi would have been quicker but I didn't want to spend the money, and this wouldn't have bothered me as much had it not been minus 3 degrees!

It was a very cold and unenjoyable stay!

The location was about the only good thing I could say about the property. It was a 20 minute walk to the centre.

There was no heating except a plug in radiator. which didn’t give out much heat. The shower didn’t work. There was a musty smell in the room and it wasn’t clean.
