B&B is amazing and the host is even better!

The B&B is beautiful and well-kept, my room was spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable - just what I needed after a day of cycling Pisa to Lucca. The breakfast was just as described - plentiful and delicious. Above and beyond this is Victoria - she is the most lovely and accommodating host I've ever had. She not only takes care of your every need, but truly wants you to feel at home. I will DEFINITELY stay here again.

Een thuis weg van huis 🏠 ❤️

Aller eerst wil ik Melany bedanken voor haar gastvrijheid,warmte en haar betrokkenheid tijdens mijn verblijf. 🫂☺️ Woorden schieten tekort om dit verblijf waardig te omschrijven. Ik kwam als soloreiziger aan in Lucca waar Melany mij op haalde van het station , hoe lief? Vanaf moment één voelde het direct vertrouwd. Ondanks onze taal barrière wisten we hele waardevolle gesprekken met elkaar te voeren waar ik tot de dag vandaag nog regelmatig aan terug denk en dankbaar voor ben , omdat het de toon heeft gezet voor de rest mijn reis! Zelden verbleef ik op een plek waar waar over elk detail zo was nagedacht en waar ik mij vanaf moment één volledig thuis voelde. Want geloof mij wanneer ik zeg dat echt alles nog 2x zo mooi, sfeervol,schoon,modern is als te zien op de foto’s. Melany de eigenaresse laat het aan niets ontbreken!! Ze is zo persoonlijk betrokken. Haar passie om het anderen naar de zin te maken, te zorgen voor , is te zien& voelen in elk deel van het huis. (Niet te vergeten “ hoe schoon het huis is👌🏼Iedere dag een nieuw gevarieerd ontbijt buffet, met daarbij nog de mogelijkheid om overdag wat weg te pakken. Aangezien de keuken openbaar is en je vrij bent om alles te nuttigen wat aanwezig is. Van cakes tot aan uitgebreid belegde broodjes, Italiaanse specialiteiten. Het bleef maar komen. Onbeperkt vers water om mee te nemen. geweldig!! En als kers op de taart zijn er er Gratis Fietsen bij het verblijf inbegrepen deze staan tot je beschikking om de stad te verkennen. (Dit maakte het verblijf echt helemaal af!! fietsen in Lucca ,over de stadsmuur,door de winkelstraten het doet je hart veroveren. En dit alles voor deze prijs 😳 Zoals ik al zei over elk detail is nagedacht, wat maakt dat je echt mag ontspannen! “Een thuis weg van huis ❤️“ Mijn enige advies zou zijn “kijk niet verder, boek!!

A great overnight stop in the city of Lucca whilst walking the Via Francigena

BnB Villa Melony is a wonderful property a short walk from the city walls. Bicycles are available to ride into the centre and around the city if you want. A lovely room, wonderful breakfast and delightful host.

Soggiorno stupendo - personale impeccabile e tutti i confort.... cosa si vuole di più.....

struttura a due passi dal centro. Il personale è stato gentilissimo e disponibile oltre modo. Consigliato per chi vuole vedere la stupenda Città di Lucca. Collegamento con mezzi pubblici a dir poco eccellente.

Rent och fräscht. Skön säng. Fri parkering. Cyklar att låna. Fantastiskt härligt att cykla på stadsmuren både på dagtid och sent på kvällen.

The host Vittoria was very nice and accomodating . The bnb was only five minutes away from the city center by bicycle that was provided . The room was very decent and the bathroom was impecably clean . I would highly recommend .

Nice& cosy b&b

Host was really nice and most helpful! Everything was clean and functional. Spacious apartment at least at the top floor. Cosy breakfast, pastries and waterbottles availably all the time! Free bikes were useful, ride to old city was joy to whole family.

Air conditioning wasn't very effective, nor sitting area in garden. Some noice from the street since it's right next to the building.

My stay was so amazing and beyond expectations!

The rooms were super comfy and clean. Victoria was the absolute sweetest host!! She has bikes you can use to ride in and around the city. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lucca!

Highly recommend to stay here as it's quiet and the host provides 5 star service.

Great service from staff and amazing breakfast (big spread including sandwiches, tarts, croissants, local pies etc) with 24/7 coffee and bottled water (even some 5 star hotels charge for bottled water). Bathroom was well equipped with new showerheads and good heater. The staff offered to fetch me from the train station for free. The first of such experience in all my BnB stays. If you ask nicely, she may also offer to drop you off at station when you leave. I purposely chose a place that is 20 minutes by walk to Lucca city to experience the local living while walking (there are 2 big grocery stores nearby and local oven pizzaria. If you prefer, there's a direct bus just 1 minute walk from the BnB. Staff was also super helpful when I needed some help on having a driver to Grotto del vento, as I can't drive. There was also a small black out and Victoria came within 10 to check on us.

Last minute Gem would stay again

centrally located had a 3 night stay , walking distance to Lucca and quick commute to Pisa - all ammenities close by (supermarket, laundry , train , bus ect) - parking on site , great breakfast and room .Kitchen facilities available- great pizza restaurant next door- the hostess was great - would stay again

Lovely base for exploring delicious Lucca.

This is a top BnB with an excellent hostess - friendly and very helpful.

It’s about a 20-30 minute walk into town; so if you’re not with a car you need to master the bus system or borrow one of the BnB’s bicycles.

Exceptional

The two bedroom apartment was lovely and just perfect for us! It was located close enough to the walled city gate that bicycling was east. The owners are fabulous hosts and were so helpful in making sure my daughter’s dietary needs were met. They even prepared a breakfast for us early in the morning when we had to leave before the regular breakfast hours. The breakfast was fabulous. A great assortment of food and the rolls/bread were still warm when we arrived. The owners have a fleet of bicycles to borrow and offered great suggestions for activities and restaurants. There is parking onsite if you need it. And there was a convenience store nearby that provided anything you needed.

Superb

The place is extremely clean, the room is spacious as it´s the bathroom. the breakfast is simply superb. The hostess was helpful and attentive guiding us and answering our questions for recomendations. No noise at all, and an extra point is the privete parking for the car.Even if it´s not in the city center the place is very close so you can get to it in a 10 min walk, and have a nice pizzeria in the neighborhood,

super nice BnB with a great host

Villa Melany is a very cozy BnB in close proximity to the historic city centre of Lucca. it requires a 10 minute walk to get there. The host is super friendly and even took care of our baby while we had breakfast 😊 she provided an Italian (generally sweet) breakfast to start the day. there is a private parking lot behind the house which is included in the price for a room. coffee & water is included as well.

A little gem near Lucca

Beautiful location. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The breakfast was superb. The owner Daniele was exceptional, very kind, hospitable and accommodating. He helped us in every small detail. We will definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the outskirts of Lucca.

A great place to stay!

The owner of this delightful property could not be kinder or more generous. It is slightly out of the walled city but in easy walking distance. The place is sparkling clean. The owner put fresh flowers in our room which was a nice touch. Water and coffee was always available and the breakfast was a typically European. If you would like a bottle of wine to enjoy while there, walk to the Conad which is a 2-3 minute walk.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like but please be aware that it is outside of the walls but within easy walking distance.

villa Melany is lovely BnB to stay in Lucca, Italy

Breakfast was great! They served home grown melons, all kind of pasties, prosciutto, varieties of fruits and drinks.

I liked everything, BnB was just reopen and everything such as rooms, common areas etc was all was new and decorated in good taste and style. Done
