About this apartment rental
Curia is full of contrasts – aluminium staircases and heavy wooden ceilings, antique marble window frames and pop art prints, dark furniture and white walls. It’s idiosyncratic, and all the better for it. Outside are the ruins of Largo di Torre Argentina, keeping you close to Rome’s heritage (it’s believed to be the spot where Julius Caesar was assassinated). And while the apartment’s not in absolutely perfect condition, this is very common among old Roman buildings and nothing to be alarmed about.
Home truths:
*This home is in a central location, and some guests reported hearing street noise throughout the night – something to be aware of if you're a light sleeper
*Some guests found the heating and air-conditioning to be a bit temperamental
*The lift is very small – you'll struggle to get a person and a suitcase in there
*There are a few small signs of age around the place, though nothing major
*Both upstairs bedrooms are fairly open to the bedrooms below
*Two guests will be on a sofa bed in the living room – the sofa has been changed since the photoshoot
*The loft area has low ceilings, and the shower in the bathroom is low – it might not be the best option for taller guests
