About this apartment rental

Take the most quintessential English cottage you ever did see, set amidst the rolling Cotswold countryside. Add to your doorstep five acres of sprawling shared gardens (think topiaries and a Moorish-inspired pavilion) complete with a shared indoor heated pool, Turkish hammam, and a hard tennis court. All tied up in the neat little bow that is Kingham, one of the Cotswold’s prettiest villages just moments away. And you’ve got yourself the perfect countryside retreat. Inside this eighteenth-century cottage, you’ll find a crackling fire for cosying up on colder nights. A light-filled living space with French doors opening out onto a south-facing private garden for summer evening barbecues. A suntrap conservatory overlooking the garden, that’s the perfect spot for your breakfast. And elegant, spacious bedrooms upstairs (a four-poster bed to boot) with picture-perfect window views. When you do decide to venture further afield from this quiet countryside idyll, you’re just a five-minute walk to the village centre with its award-winning gastropubs for an evening meal. Or head to Daylesford Spa and Farm Shop, just a five-minute drive away or twenty minutes on foot, where you’ll find the best organic food around and plenty of dining options. It’s all for the taking here. Home truths: *If you're travelling with little ones, a cot, high chair and stairgate are all available as well as a collection of toys and games – the hosts can also arrange for a larger cot or newborn cradle on request *Please respect the neighbours and keep the noise down after 11pm *Your host can provide babysitter recommendations *There is free parking on the premises *You’ll meet the host at check-in to receive the keys to this property *The single beds in the second bedroom can be zip-and-linked to create a super-king – just let your host know in advance how you’d like the beds to be made *The hosts live on-site in a detached property and are on hand to help should you need anything
