What's better than a cedar hot tub with a sweeping view of the Totnes countryside and the River Dart? In the case of this colossal former barn, the answer is two of them. This isn't the only thing that the home doubles up on, as there are also two Webber coal barbecues on the patio for grilling up smoky flavours, which lucky guests will be able to enjoy underneath the parasols on the alfresco dining area. This is very much an address where outdoor pursuits are the number one priority. On the grounds, there's a hard tennis court, trampoline and children's play area, but beyond the perimeters, there's plenty to see, too. The town of Totnes takes forty minutes to reach on foot, and there are a number of beaches — including those at Broadsands and Paighton — that can be reached in less than half an hour in the car. However, don't worry if you fancy staying indoors for the day — or if the weather leaves you with no choice — as there's plenty to keep you occupied inside the four walls. A games room on the top floor has tables for both foosball and ping pong, as well as another stunning view out of the floor-to-ceiling window. Alternatively, what's to stop you curling up on one of the sofas in the living room with a book in hand and the log-burner crackling away comfortingly in the background? Home truths: *There's plenty of space for car parking at the property *The option of private catering hire is possible — please enquire with the host if you are interested *The nearest village — Ashprinton — is only a mile away *Logs and kindling are provided for your first fire in the wood-burner *Towels for outside use are not provided by the host, although there are rough towels for drying wet dogs *Pets can be accommodated, but they must be approved by the host beforehand *There's a levelled out field opposite the home that's ideal for playing sports *If you require the single bed to be set in one of the double bedrooms for the nineteenth guest, please let the host know beforehand
