The cottage is incredible, such an amazing building in a stunning location. We used the cottage to host a women's well-being retreat and it was the perfect venue. The hosts were very helpful and we loved the extra touch of complimentary bubbles and chocolates

Fabulous cottage, great for our family. Loved all that this beautiful place had to offer. The hosts Barbara and Frank were brilliant.
All good 😀

The location was brilliant, the hosts were amazing and the cottage was great value for money. Cannot recommend highly enough - my friends have already said about coming back in the future.
Nothing - can't fault it at all!

Lovely house, loads of space and stocked with everything you could need! We had a lovely girls birthday weekend and we would all definitely come back.

Lovely cottage, with beautiful beam features. Very welcoming host, met on arrival. Plenty of parking for multiple cars. Well equipped kitchen with large table made for great feasts and lovely interconnected living space to spend time together. Good selection of games and jigsaws to keep you entertained and lots of local places to explore.
As discussed with the host the upper bedroom is not very private due to large windows into the living space with only thin net curtains meaning anyone could see into the bedroom. Host took this on board and discussed options to improve it.

Perfect spot to go for walks, with plenty of guides and maps in the cottage to look at. The owners were delightful and generous people that made us feel welcome from the minute we got there to when we left! Plenty of space and facilities within the cottage while still feeling very cozy. And for the price it was an absolute steal ;)
Couldn't have stayed for longer!

Lovely hosts that were very welcoming and a spacious property for a group of girls on a weekend away
Single beds for every guest
There was even a fish to feed!
Large lounge and kitchen which meant we could have a private chef and party for our friend
The access to the property needs to be signposted more clearly and the road requires a bit of work. It is an acute turn.
The level of cleanliness was ok, however there were a few cobwebs above the bed, but we understand this is hard to keep up with an old conversion.

Beautiful property, the snow was so deep we had to park down their track but that made it more lovely!

We wanted a comfortable and spacious place to stay for a group of 8 for a 50th birthday. This cottage had everything we could ask for… and more! We enjoyed every second of our weekend stay - from the comfy beds, to the spacious living area, well equipped kitchen and hot power showers! A short walk to Ye Olde Mustard Pot for an enjoyable lunch made for a good Saturday afternoon too. Barbara and Frank were great hosts - thank you.
Nothing! We loved everything. Only suggestion for future visitors is to follow the cottage directions provided carefully - a couple of our group travelled in the dark and missed a couple of the final turnings.

beautiful nature and magic of the house inside.

We didn't have breakfast. The kitchen was very well equipped but a tad disorganised. We couldn't find a bread knife
The sofa was very low and uncomfortable not really suitable for the older people in our party. The TV was hard to see from across the room but didn't concern us a great deal.

The cottage was AMAZING! Clean, spacious, lots of activities to do, the hosts were so friendly and helpful. They asked if we needed anything from the supermarket and were so accommodating! Such comfy beds and great heating system. Perfect place for a group of 7-9 people.
