About this apartment rental
Newly renovated with an open concept kitchen and living space makes this the perfect spot for entertaining and gathering.
This is a dog friendly, first floor, two bedroom unit which includes a modern bathroom, updated and fully stocked kitchen, a cozy breakfast nook and washer & dryer.
One bedroom boasts a queen size bed, the second, two twin beds and there is also a pullout couch in the living room.
Located on the first floor, there is direct access to a shared charming brick patio.
While we want our guests to enjoy their privacy, we are also readily available for anything you might need, from extra towels to dinner recommendations. Just send us a message or give us a call.

Located in the more locally populated Broadway neighborhood, this pet friendly building is just a seven minute walk to Newport’s waterfront, although the neighborhood itself is home to many restaurants and coffee shops.
Windward Suites properties are all keyless, and instead use keypad smart locks for all of the doors for both the buildings and units. All guests will receive an email the morning of their arrival with the instructions, codes to the doors and Wifi. Super easy!
Check-in time is anytime after 3:00 p.m. Check-out time is 11:00 a.m. Please be respectful of these times unless you have contacted us, as we have a cleaning crew who need the time to do a thorough job before and after all of our guests.
Parking is on street parking. There are no meters and no residential parking sticker requirements which makes it easy to find spots.
Dr. Marcus is a three unit building consisting of two bedroom apartment style units with one unit located per floor. Recently “freshened up,” each space is bright and clean with open concept floor plans; each comes equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer, newly installed mini splits and access to a shared outdoor brick patio space.

A group of 35 year old women stayed for 2 nights and we had the best time! It's a close walk to Thames street, a few buildings over from Nitro coffee, and not far from the highway. The set up was perfect with two bedrooms, a really big kitchen with plenty of seating, an amazing shower, and everything was super clean!

We very much enjoyed our stay here – it's the ideal location if you're visiting Newport. Very walkable to everything (and the Nitro Bar a stone's throw away is incredibly convenient), but you don't have the noise from foot traffic outside the unit. Easy to get to, easy to park at, and exactly as advertised in the post. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay! The only issue we had was spotty wifi to check the VRBO app to get the wifi password after checking in.

Cozy place close to everything in Newport! Plenty of parking in front and great accommodations.
P.S. try Nitro Coffee and The Parlor; great food and just down the block.

We loved staying at this new, clean, and beautifully decorated place. It was well equipped with all we needed. There was 4 of us and lots of space to relax. The location was perfect for walking to all the popular spots. Communications with property manager was super easy and quick using the VRBO app.
We were there in off-season. So parking and reservations were not an issue at all.
Recommendations were provided which was extremely helpful.
We loved The Corner Cafe right around the corner.
We loved The Black Pearl for dinner.
The Ocean drive at sunset was just amazing.
Brick Alley Pub was great for our arrival lunch. Lots of fun decor.
Can’t wait to return!

The apartment itself is great, it's pretty new and everything is organized well for a pleasant stay. There were some issues with non-responsiveness from the host and you can hear a bit too much from the apartment upstairs but nonetheless, a wonderful place to stay and a great location.

This property was very clean and just what we needed after three days of camping! The location was within walking distance to everything downtown Newport. There was plenty of street parking available even in the middle of summer.

The property has been beautifully redone, new everything (kitchen,bathroom,floors). I would have given this place another star except for the traffic noise. The first floor unit is right on the street level and not far from the police department so we heard a fair amount of traffic noise.
The location is a block off Broadway, so very convenient for the north end of Thames street. Also only one bathroom, not a big deal but good to know in advance. We had our teenage boys and they had their own space in the second bedroom so it worked out.

Had five of us. Spacious. Clean. Close to downtown. Easy walk to get to places. Outside patio area was nice to enjoy some wine in the afternoon. One street over ...very cool places to eat. Would recommend staying here.

This is a great 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment right off Broadway in Newport near restaurants, bars and shops. The photos on VRBO very accurately depict the rental although they don't tell you that there is a washer and dryer and a lovely outdoor space.
The apartment was very very clean. Everything we needed for our 2 night stay was there. Parking was super easy. I would recommend this rental to anyone visiting Newport. We parked our car and never used it all weekend. The beach, the Cliff Walk and the the restaurants on the wharf are all less than a mile away.

The access was very easy with the email and the code. Loved not having to carry a key. The open floor plan was great. The little court yard and table we lovely to have access to. I wouldn’t rent it again with a toddler as the locks were easily accessed and undone but would certainly rent it again without a small active human. Great sized kitchen. Great light through the day even with the shade partially closed.

The property was very nice. It was brand new and very nicely renovated. Maybe a little bit farther from the heart of town than we would have liked, although there are restaurants nearby. The Nitro Coffee bar was only 2 doors down and was great.

Cute little place in a great location
We really enjoyed staying at this property! The renter was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. It’s within walking distance to pretty much everything. It was a little tight for our group (3 adults, 3 kids), but that’s to be expected when you max out the capacity of a property. Would definitely rent from him again!

Beautiful Newport Rental
Our weekend getaway rental was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. The location was located on a quite side street yet close to many bars and restaurants. We would recommend and will stay at this location again.
