About this house rental
Come stay at this gorgeous home (new build in 2022) on the east side of Seneca Lake. Enjoy the outdoors with 100 feet of beach frontage and large front yard. Walking into the house there are huge windows showcasing the lake views. The living and kitchen area feature a cozy seating area with a well stocked kitchen. Custom woodworking and features are found throughout the house- from custom oak trim to exposed copper in the showers.
The two downstairs bedrooms share a bathroom. This bath has an easy to access walk in shower. The downstairs master features a king bed and walk in closet. The 2nd bedroom has a Queen and twin bed (sleeping 3). Upstairs, the master suite has incredible lake views with a walk-in shower and walk-in closet. The 4th bedroom has a queen bed, with a twin mattress in the "sleeping nook" (see pictures). This bedroom sleeps 3. The 3rd bathroom, which is upstairs, features a tub/shower.
There is a separate game room that has a game table for board games and cards, a television with a DVD player (and DVD's), and a foosball table.
Yard games including corn hole, croquet, bocce and Can Jam are available for your use.
The house sits on a "bluff" that is about 8' high. There are 20 steps to the beach as well as a slope down to the lake that can be walked. The beach has small stones, and walking into the water requires beach shoes, or old sneakers as it is rocky. You can enter the water off the dock, if you don't like wading. Enjoy campfires on the 100 feet of beach while viewing the stars or watching the birds. On the bluff we have added a gas fire bowl surrounded by Adirondack chairs for another great spot to enjoy the view.
There is a permanent dock with a ladder at the end. There is also a floating mat (Lily pad) to enjoy tied to a buoy, once the season gets warmer.
The entry outdoor lights are motion activated, or turn on at dusk, in case your arrival is late. In addition there is one security camera located in the storage room on the right side of the “game room” building facing the road.
While building this home, we thoroughly enjoyed exploring the area restaurants, breweries, wineries, hiking and water activities. We hope you will as well and include some new activities you find in our guest book!

Our family of 10 adults and a nine month old stayed for the week our daughter was getting married at Ventosa Vineyard up the road. The house was perfect in size, location and amenities! We used the kayaks, paddle board, floating pad, enjoyed fires and s’mores on the beach, plenty of room for lawn games! Truly great!

Our group of 8 old friends had a fabulous week at this incredible home on Seneca Lake!! As noted in prior reviews, the house is in a perfect location right on the lake, with great views and spectacular sunsets. The house (especially the kitchen!) is equipped with everything that you need for a wonderful vacation. Kim, the host, has done everything to make sure all of your needs are met - and more! We can't wait to go back again!

We had a wonderful stay at Seneca Lake. The house was perfect and my son can’t stop talking about how much he loved sleeping in the “nook”. Amazingly well stocked and it felt like checking into a resort rather than a rental home. We will absolutely be back.

The Simpsons were the perfect hosts! The house is beautiful, clean, and well stocked with lots of extras. The location was perfect and the amenities were superb. Our family had a lovely stay with my parents and sister’s family for a family reunion celebrating my parent’s 50th Anniversary. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home!

We, our grown children, their partners, and our 2-yr-old grandchild, had a wonderful time together this week in this spacious, clean, comfortable, attractive spot. Despite some bad weather, we managed to enjoy some biking, paddle boarding and kayaking, playing in the yard, dining at Dano's, enjoying local wines, chatting around the fire pit. Very comfortable beds. Well-equipped kitchen, handy outdoor grills (gas or charcoal). A strong wind and rain storm caused some problems, including a widespread power outage: the owners were very responsive and helpful. We and our children were very pleased with this as a place for us to gather again someday.

From the minute we walked into the home we were wowed by the view from all windows, and the home itself is welcoming and comfortable. There were 6 of us (4 adults, 2 teens) and we had plenty of room to spread out and feel comfortable. We made good use of the kayaks, both fire pit options and the game room. The host was very timely with communication. There aren't enough positive adjectives to describe our wonderful experience at this home. Thank you to the owners for renting out this beautiful home.

Five stars are not enough to describe this home. We gathered with family as a central place for everyone from CT, NH, and OH to celebrate Thanksgiving and a special 85th birthday. The house was clean, very well equipped, and had space for everyone from college age kids to the grandparents. The view of the lake and sunsets did not disappoint. Everyone in our group had the best time. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were comfortable, and the house was spotless. No detail was overlooked! We explored the area and really enjoyed ourselves. Overall a wonderful experience!

This home was the nicest VRBO I’ve ever been to. The home was spotless and the owners were over the top with providing every amenity needed. Beautiful views of the lake. We will definitely be back!!! Thank you Kim for being so great to work with. We loved your beautiful home!!

I'm not sure how I can accurately describe how wonderful the house and property were, or how thoughtfully Kim and Tom has prepared it for my family.
We had our whole family there for a week and everything was incredible. The soaps, the towels, the beds, the kitchen, the TV, ... everything was fantastic. The separate game room as well? Unreal.
The location itself was perfect as well -- in close proximity to breweries and wineries, as well as ~25 minutes to Geneva.
Perhaps the best part of this property itself. It's directly on the lake and we spent most of our mornings kayaking, swimming, and stand up paddle boarding in the peaceful lake. As the days wound day, we'd drink wine in front of the gas fire and watch the sun set over the lake.
Tom and Kim were responsive and wonderful. When we needed some quick help in the house, they handled it quick and easy!
I could not recommend this house, property, or these owners any stronger!

The property is located lake front and not many steps to the lake which was important for my mother. Beautiful view, there were two kayaks and a paddle board that someone was always using. My two grandkids played every day in the lake on the large floating mat. We enjoyed fires at night and we rented a pontoon boat for a day and enjoyed checking out the large beautiful lake. About an hour drive is the Corning museum and we loved the glass blowing demonstrations, highly recommend. Over all it was a perfect house for us with all the amenities and was clean and had a comfortable kitchen that we did our cooking in. It was a relaxing vacation and we would stay here again.

The house was spectacular stunning views of Seneca Lake. The outdoor space was great, with steps leading down to the dock and the lake. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board as well as the water mat. We rented a boat one day and went tubing (super easy), hiked in Watkins Glen and enjoyed a local winery. It was such a great vacation.
The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. They stopped by briefly after a storm to make sure everything was ok. Very thoughtful.
I would recommend this place again and again!

Thank you again…. Lots of memories were made!!!
