Found an undergarment in a drawer in the bathroom, in which I just threw away. also in fridge was a shaker of what We believed was orange juice of some sort with mold growing in it. also, just threw away. So, review of cleaning staff was the only issue.

We came down to KC with my husband’s two sisters & their families, a group of 15 with kids ranging from 18 down to an almost 3 yr old. We spent our days at Union Station & Crowne Plaza. The Modern Farmhouse KC was great to come home to after busy fun filled days.

Overall this property is great! It was perfect for what we needed and the house was very clean. Communication with property owner was very professional and timely. If you would have to sleep the maximum of 16 people as advertised, it would be very tight with several people sleeping on a couch or pull out bed.

We visited the KC area with a group of youth. This large house accommodated our group well. It's in a nice neighborhood, clean and well-kept, and the host communicated well during the booking process and during our stay. Would stay again!

We stayed here during our Thanksgiving holiday with family and we were all able to enjoy the location. The check in process was easy and the host provided the codes for entry prior to our arrival. The house was very maintained and cleaned prior to our arrival. There was plenty of room for our large group and a well stocked kitchen. Host was very responsive and extremely helpful. Would definitely recommend this rental and this host

Had a great time here. The garage is fun to hang with friends and play games and the place is big enough for about 7 to 8 adults to be pretty comfortable in. Would stay again.

Well decorated, recently renovated property on a large lot with ample parking. We enjoyed our stay and even more so our family was approved to come over for a bday celebration for our 3 yr old son. The property was perfect for hosting a gathering. Would stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Modern Farmhouse. There were 14 of us with 9 adults and 5 kids. We did bring a few air mattresses for the kiddos, but they ended up using the pull-out bed and the couch in the game room. We found the house very comfortable and clean. Brandon, the host, was extremely friendly and accommodating and always got back to me promptly when I had questions. We enjoyed the large backyard, and the game room was perfect for the kids to hang out in. We loved this place!

Great property. Good kitchen with nice backyard area and grill. Able to sleep at least through to four couples depending on comfort preferences. Room for a couple more for day bed and couches. Would have liked darker curtains/blinds to control the morning light, white curtains let a lot of light in and prevented late starts. TV in every room, with ROKU, so you can watch whatever you want. Would stay here again.

My friends and family celebrated my Bachelor Party at this venue and it was an utter blast! This home had numerous features and the quality of our stay was superb. We are already in talks to revisit this venue. This was our first time booking a VRBO rental, so suffice to say that I was nervous, but Brandon made this visit flawless with his excellent communication and wonderful customer service skills. I would highly recommend this venue for any gathering - as you'll enjoy the rustic aesthetic, the various partying features, the KC man cave, and the overall quality of your stay. Thanks for making this a wonderful weekend, Brandon! Hope you'll have us again!

We had a group of 12 ages 3-70. The Farmhouse was a conviently located place for the activities we had scheduled. Brandon was very good to work with and responded immediately to any questions or concerns we had. As one other person wrote it is a bit small for a larger group like we had. It list couch/futons in the game room and living room but these were just couches. There is also not bedding included for these sleeping locations. It is good we had kids that would fit on them and had blankets in the car that we used. Our teenage kids really enjoyed the game room as it was too hot to spend in the great backyard. We did spend mornings (before it was so warm) having coffee outside in that great space. Brandon had recommened some great resturants nearby that were fantastic and very close!

We stayed for a long weekend with young children. The property has a big yard for the kids to run around and play. The beds were very comfortable and plenty of room for our group of 11 people. The AC unit didn’t keep up with the 100 degree weather, so it was a little warm in the house (78 degrees). The property also didn’t have a pizza cutter or whisk, so might want to bring those with you if you are planning to cook pizza or fry up some scrambled eggs.

Working with Brandon (owner) was smooth - there was a toilet issue that he worked to resolve as quickly as possible, which was nice. We had 8 women stay at the house comfortably but I am pretty sure this house said it could hold 12 when I booked - not sure of the math there. This house was definitely older but it was clear the cleaning crew didn't do a fabulous job before we arrived (ex: old coffee in the coffee pot, pretty sure my sheets weren't totally clean probably from the group before us not stripping the bed, etc). Just some small things to improve upon but have to tip my hat to the property owner, Brandon. I texted him late night Friday about the toilet and Saturday there was a crew there that did a whole bunch of work to get us back up and flushing in two bathrooms. Overall great property and lots of fun things like the backyard and garage playroom (which FYI i think the couch in there is considered a sleeping space). Most of the beds were memory foam and there was definitely some thought and care put into the décor. I'd knock down the max guests to 10 and make sure the cleaning people do a better job and this property will do really well on VRBO!

We came to the Farmhouse with our Junior High Youth Group and had a wonderful stay! There was plenty of room for all of us, the beds were comfortable and the customer service was great. Brandon was so nice and responded very quickly to our requests and questions. Thanks for a great time in KC!

We so enjoyed the space and it made for a very pleasant place to celebrate my father's 80th birthday. We all live about two hours away and this was such a convenient place for everyone to meet. We were able to make dinner, sit and visit while others enjoyed playing games in the garage area. We hope to stay here again in the future.

We were pleased right away upon arriving as the property looked exactly like the pictures. Brandon (PM) made us feel at home with a great sign on the fridge welcoming us to the house. The entire process from booking to departure was as easy as it could be. Everything was nicely labeled so there were no questions on how to operate anything in the house. Would strongly recommend this property!!

Had an excellent time here at the residence. Everything was accurate as shown in the photos. Had a late check in which the host did their best to accommodate. There was a slight lapse in communication overnight but all in all it was an excellent stay! I definitely would come back !

First off, our family arrived to find the house we booked on VRBO occupied. There was a mix-up on their schedule and our family was without a place to stay. We found this location that evening and the owner was able to accommodate us that night. Huge relief as we had many in our group! The house is great. Very open and the heating worked perfect in sub-zero temperatures. Having stayed in many short term rentals throughout the U.S., this one one of the best equipped and organized out there. Everyone felt relaxed more in this house than all the others I have rented for many years in this location. I would highly recommend your stay at this location. You will not be disappointed!
