About this house rental
Casa Pamela is available to rent again after a two year booking! Our home sits directly beneath Hotel El Jardin off the Chocolata. You will be greeted by our caretaker Francisco who lives on site.
Custom wooden beds with matching night stands are featured in all three air conditioned bedrooms. The master bedroom has it’s own private patio just above the pool and its own private bathroom. The two guest bedrooms have a Jack & Jill bathroom shared between them which features a semicircular outdoor shower. A glass sliding shower door seals the bathroom from the outside.
The partially shaded private pool is enclosed in the gated patio and part of the pool is under the patio roof making it the perfect spot to get out of the sun. There is also a half bath and outdoor pool shower. The pool patio connects to a thatched roof rancho with a dining table, wicker loveseat and chairs, and a hammock. Enjoy it during the day to escape the sun or evening dining looking at the moon and stars twinkling in the night sky.
There is much to do in the area. Downtown San Juan del Sur is only an 8 minute drive where you will find bars, restaurants, quaint boutiques and coffee shops along with local artisans selling crafts. You can horseback ride on the beach at Aquaholic which is at the bottom of our road and across the street. There is also ziplining, deep sea fishing, surfing lessons, and sunset cruises. You can take in the view of SJDS from the Cristo de La Misericordia on the hill or take a day trip to the colonial city of Granada, the Volcan Masaya, as well as the Masaya market. Isle de Ometepe is an island in Lake Nicaragua, famous for its twin volcanoes.
*Please only use the AC in the bedrooms when sleeping at night. The drapes in the living room are light blocking and thermal insulated to keep the room cool so please keep them closed. Please use coasters on all wood furniture.
**Stays over one week are responsible for full electrical, water and propane fees.
***A vehicle with 4 wheel drive is recommended. San Juan del Sur has many uneven, dirt roads with large holes and the road to Casa Pamela is uneven terrain and only partially paved. During the rainy season it can be especially bumpy. ****Occasionally there can be random power outages as well as water disruption. These are out of the control of Casa Pamela and it’s owners and a minor inconvenience that is a normal part of living in Nicaragua. For this reason we have a back up generator but no compensation is given for power outages or water disruption as it is out of our control.

I really loved my stay here. Easy to book, responsive host, and clear directions on how to get to the house. It’s less than a 10 minute drive from downtown so it’s just enough away to have the peace and quiet but still easy to get to town for dinner or the beach. Beautiful pool and outdoor space. My only complaint is the road is a little rough getting to the house… but if you have been to Nicaragua before then you are probably used to it.

Wonderful, relaxing stay at Casa Pamela
What a great spot in SJDS! Quick ride to town but far enough away that it is quiet and peaceful at night. The views are amazing especially of the stars at night. We sat at the rancho most days and just stared out at the sea. The house is clean, comfortable and cozy. Pool was relaxing and refreshing! Caretakers were very helpful
and attentive. Highly recommend Casa Pamela!

Paradise at it's finest!
We had such a great stay and would rate this home as one of the nicest, best located, and real value of all the places we have stayed in Nicaragua. The place was very clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. The views were simply amazing and the location to town and beach couldn't have been better! We were never at a loss of things to do in the surrounding area. Communication was great too. We would highly recommend this wonderful home and are already planning our next trip back!
