The property more than met our expectations. Beautiful home. Spacious with enough single beds so no one had to sleep with someone else. Extremely clean. Huge problem with billing overcharge however and still waiting for it to be resolved.

We had our women's retreat here and had a wonderful weekend. The place was just perfect for us. The large kitchen/great room was wonderful so we could be together while playing separate games. I did send a message or two that I didn't hear back from, but that didn't affect our stay. The kitchen could be better equipped for such a large group, the pots were not in best condition and there weren't any really big pots. No measuring cups/spoons. Not enough bowls for a group as large as the house can hold. These were all minor things for us though. Just wanted to include that for future improvements. I did not get an email about check in for some reason but they answered the phone when I called and provided the check in code. Thank you for sharing this wonderful home with us.

This was out 9th year of a mountain house weekend stay with the same group of families, with 8 adults and 9 kids, now ranging in age from 9-17. The bedrooms were spacious and there were plenty of them. We generally look for houses with a bunk room since the kids like to stay together, and this house had that option. Bathrooms were clean, and there were plenty of linens and towels. Plenty of living space for our group to spread out in, play games, great outdoor area as well. The kitchen itself could use a deep clean, many of the pots and pans were sticky, and the utensil holder and everything in it was very greasy. The stove is set up very high which made cooking a bit awkward, but we managed. We were not made aware ahead of time that alcohol was against the rules of this house. The cleaning people showed up a full half hour prior to our check out time and began cleaning the downstairs, which we felt was intrusive since we paid for a 10am check out. We did leave at 10am on the dot. All told, we did not let these things ruin our weekend and had a great time with our group.

The house was stunning, clean and roomy enough for all of us. We had a wonderful time. One issue we experienced was after a power outage the thermostat did not reset. So we spent one night without heat downstairs. Not too bad, but the thermostats are locked, so we were helpless to do anything until we stumbled upon the key. Reaching out to the owner was a slow, tedious process that morning.

14 ladies enjoyed this wonderful mountain lodge for a weekend. The number of bedrooms made this location so appealing. Nice to have a long table to eat together. The outdoor fire area was enjoyed as well as the pickle ball court.

We had a reunion with college friends and our families at this property, and it was wonderful! House was very clean when we checked in and plenty of space for our big group. The kids loved the playground, basketball/pickleball court, and open space for running around.

The Mountain lodge exceeded all of our expectations. The pictures do not do this property justice, Its breathtaking and so well maintained.
Upon arrival we were blown away by the beauty of the grounds and the home. It was so fun to relax and unwind with our families. We will definitely be back!

The house is quite large and accommodated all of our needs. It was very clean and cozy. The AC was pumping so make sure to ask ahead of time to have access to the key to turn up the air; we were chilly!

We were a group of 4 families with 18 children between us all, and we had a great time relaxing, exploring, and playing games! The agent helped us through an issue with the home's HVAC and the space was perfect for us all to spread out and enjoy time together! It was quiet and secluded. Beds and bedrooms were comfortable, and the unpictured garage/game space was a bonus for us with a second fridge and game tables! The pictures did not do this place justice. Very clean and beautiful!

This place really is a gem. So much room for a large family to spread out both inside and outside. I highly recommend this property to anyone who needs a lot of space and appreciates a clean and open floor plan.

We had our women's retreat here and it was a wonderful weekend. The house was the perfect place to connect and refresh. The great room and kitchen set up was perfect for a large group to be able to be together. The rooms were all comfortable and the kitchen had what we needed. It was colder so we weren't able to use the beautiful outdoor space but we did take a walk around the area.

We had a wonderful time! Plenty of room for a great family weekend. Lots of fun in the game room and doing puzzles and game playing. We did miss a tv mostly because we love football! The Wi-fi wasn’t really good for such a large group…. but it was lots of fun to just enjoy the time together! Thanks for a great weekend!

Everyone enjoyed their time at the house. Property was beautiful and a nice place to wake up in the morning. All of the rooms were clean and ready for us. Would highly recommend.

From the moment our group pulled up on the secluded driveway and saw the stunning wall of windows, we knew it would be a good stay. And the cabin did not disappoint! The large quantity of towels--hand towels and shower towels thank you!--was so helpful for our group. We loved viewing the living room from all angles, especially the third and second floor balconies that let us enthusiastically greet our friends down below! The amount of bathrooms, bedrooms, sheets, spaces to lounge and spread out, and extra refrigerator in the garage were nice touches. The fireplace and wood walls gave a nice ambiance.
Because the temperature was set, we ended up doing all sorts of things in the house to heat and cool (trying the fireplace in the kitchen, opening windows in other places). We worried this made the house less energy efficient and used more energy than if we could control the temp.
The shower handles in the large bathroom and sink handles in a second floor bathroom were installed incorrectly, so H was actually C and vice versa! It took a bunch of people in one shower to finally figure it out.
Overall we had a truly magical time and we thank you for your gracious hospitality!

The house was beautiful! There were many rooms for everyone to stay in comfortably. The living room area was so nice, spacious, and cozy. We really liked that the kitchen was spacious and had a lot of seating. The outdoor area was really nice and we spent a lot of time there. There was more than enough room to set up a volleyball net and play all kinds of games. The host responds quickly, was very nice, and very welcoming! Would definitely stay here again

The house was wonderful for a large family gathering. Since we had beautiful weather, we really enjoyed the outdoor space as well, the deck, yard and children's play area were wonderful. We would definitely recommend this house for a large group and would love to come back again. Our cell service was very spotty, so you really were disconnected from the world for a few days.

This is a beautiful home with lots of space and big rooms. This worked really well for our group. We had a lot of co-workers coming together to plan for the year and we each brought all our families. This house was a great size for us with plenty of room to spread out and for the kids to have places to play. So many good things to say about this rental! It was so great! There is only one downside we experienced and that was the reliability of the internet. That made a few things difficult for us in some of our work meetings, so we had to adjust. Again, this was a fantastic place for us!

Great for extended family vacation
24 total people. Beautiful rooms, gathering spaces, and yard. Quiet surroundings delivered. Very fast responses before and during our stay. Plenty of parking. Very grateful for the big fridge in the garage to supplement, especially if you plan on cooking meals the whole week for your group. The kitchen could use some bigger pots to accommodate the large group size that the house sleeps, or bring your own.

Stay was great!
Great communication very easy check in process house was over all beautiful and big back yard and well kept clean. The only thing that was weird was a change in rules of alc to only wine after I already booked and signed but there was no problem with the rule with me just a little last minute for those that wanted to rent that might have wanted to. But overall a really great stay!

Our stay was amazing and so much more than I could have ever imagined. The house was clean and had everything we needed. John was very quick to answer any questions I had before and during the stay. We look forward to coming back in the future for another getaway!

Lovely and peaceful place for families and friends
John was very responsive and easy to work with. He answered all my questions and gave us updates prior to our stay.
The house was lovely and relaxing. Great place to get away from the business of everyday life and spend good quality time with family and friends that we haven’t seen in sometime. Perry county and little buffalo state park were beautiful. Everyone slept well, was very comfortable, and had a great time. Can’t ask for more-Thank you John!

BUGS EVERYWHERE
Booking this property was a breeze as was initial communication. Upon coming to the property it was seemingly beautiful. Be warned it is up a narrow steep unlit driveway so driving at night and in the snow was treacherous. The house itself was nice but it was HORRIBLY BUG INFESTED. There were STINKBUGS and LADYBUGS EVERYWHERE. Several of the beds could not be used in the bunk room due to the bugs. We could not enjoy the living room as there were ladybugs all over the couches. Several of us woke up with bugs in our beds. I tried sending the manager an email during our stay but due to absolutely no cell service and spotty wifi, the message never went through. Thus, they wouldn't do anything for us because it wasn't reported until after we left despite my sending videos and pictures of the issue, and the manager agreeing that it was an issue. We will not be coming back here again since the bug infestation was absolutely disgusting and management was very unhelpful even though they admitted it was an issue.

Beautiful and clean home in the woods
This home is great for a family getaway. Plenty of space for the whole family. We traveled with 16 family members including 2 infants and had more than enough space. The house and grounds are very well kept and clean. Ample outdoor living space. This home is perfect for anytime of the year. John, the property manager was very easy to get a hold of and very accommodating.
Highly recommended!
It’s perfect for anyone looking to just get away and enjoy peace, quiet and family time.

Wonderful out of the way resort house
We had a great time. The property manager made planning easy. Quick replies every time. The property was huge. Plenty of room for our group of 20. Especially enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area. A few small maintenance issues need to be addressed, but nothing that would deter us from a return trip. Loved it.
