The only reason for the 2 and not zero was the view and the host. Never have I stayed anywhere where the temp was controlled by the owner and you are required to call each time the temp needed to be changed. Also the house needs an update. Master bathroom needs mold in the grout removed. In the second bath the brown spots on the ceiling need to be cleaned. Only 1.5 burners worked in the kitchen…though pretty they need to work. Furniture needs updating. I have sent Evolve the pictures.

This was our second time staying here. The house is clean, spacious, has a lovely view and a nice brick patio. The huge fenced in areas are great for dogs! We had to add a little additional "escape-proofing" here and there, but nothing out of the ordinary. Just a head's up: the owner controls the thermostat remotely; Brandy took care of the temperature issues for us super quickly, but we were a bit taken aback. Also, the wi-fi is pretty good, but is a little "mountain-y" here and there. We would love to stay again!

The house is older and could use some renovation however it suited us well for our large family and dogs. The kitchen is nice though not well organized. Our biggest issue was with the cleanliness. Carpets and flooring were dirty. Moldy and dirty bathrooms. We arrived late and spent the first two hours of our stay cleaning and sterilizing. We stay at a lot of VRBO’s so we have realistic expectations however this house was pretty filthy! Once we settled in, our stay was pleasant and the property is perfectly located to shopping, dining and all conveniences. We loved the doggy amenities and nice big yard!

Wonderful location, nice clean home, and very attentive property management

This house is made for family get togethers. As with any house there are things that always need repairs especially when different people stay in the house, as not all people treat it as their own.
We had a great time and will stay again next time the family gets together. The host responded to our email within a day.

I emailed the contact given to us in the check in information. I sent an email to "Brandy" . I never received a reply. Very disappointing.
The folks that clean this property have never seen the top of the fridge, nor have they seen the top of the stove vent. The vent screens have clearly never been cleaned.
The American flag is a disgrace and very disrespectful. It needs immediate replacement.
We will NOT use this property again.

Traveling with our two sons, their wives and kids is always a challenge to find a place that is affordable but also big enough for us all. This place fit the bill. Few issues were the house was not very clean when we got there. I sent pics to them and was offered for cleaning service to come back but I declined. The upstairs kitchen was dirty, not organized well at all which is disappointing because it is a beautiful kitchen. Just some reorganizing of where dishes are would go a long way. The downstairs kitchen had dirty dishes in the cabinets which was disgusting. Also it’s Christmas and the Halloween decor was still up which really offended me personally because I do not celebrate Halloween and to have that decor up at Christmas time for my family was incredibly offensive. I did let them know but it was ignored. The tv did not work. Thankfully my son brought his gaming computer so we were able to hook it up and stream from that. They said they’d send someone but never did. Lastly, the downstairs is inaccessible from the inside if you have any mobility issues. So unless you bring someone that can traverse those awful stairs you won’t have access to the laundry unless you drive around to the back and go in from there. Other than that the home is ok, spacious and very close to town which was nice. The furniture is comfortable. The outdoor area is great for the dogs and the kids loved the little playhouse.

Great location, plenty of room to get together with family and friends and room for privacy. View was awesome and easy access driving and entering into the home. Great for older adults who can not walk up stairs! Manager was very attentive to all questions and very helpful!

My family & I stayed at this rental property in July for a week. There were seven (7) adults & one (1) dog. Overall, the property itself was great! Plenty of bedrooms, the living room was very spacious, the dining room table worked out perfectly, and the front porch was absolutely wonderful. Lots of chairs and a fire pit!
The kitchen definitely needs some work though. Everything looks new but that's not really true. The biggest issue is that someone needs to take a day and completely clean out ALL of the cabinets. There were multiple bottles of expired (2015) BBQ sauce & salad dressings in one of the pantry areas in addition to many items no one is ever going to use at a rental property. The dishes, silverware, glassware definitely need an upgrade. The pots & pans were strewn about it many different cabinets making it difficult to find what you needed and were always dirty. We had to wash every single one before using them. The fridge has a leak and there is absolutely no AC in the kitchen so it becomes unbearably hot when cooking.
On the positive side, the location is ideal to the town of Waynesville and we all enjoyed heading in to some of the local places for lunch & dinner. The grocery store, Ingles, is absolutely wonderful & super convenient. Getting anywhere else was about a 40-minute drive.
The property manager we were assigned was absolutely wonderful and handled our problems quickly and efficiently. I would recommend renting for a group of around 7-8 people so good luck!

House was in good shape, very clean and neat property it could use a few upgrades, but it was a nice quite place to stay. Garbage cans needed to be emptied when we arrived , think they forgot to put them out on trash day. Would stay at the house again....
