Our family really enjoyed this cabin - it was so beautiful! Absolutely spotless. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the creek off the back deck. As well as the beautiful water feature in front of the cabin as we sat on the porch swing. Great location - convenient to so many things!

This house / property was really something special! The interior of the house was modern, well equipped, and beautifully constructed with breathtaking woodwork, high vaulted ceilings, and attention to detail. The back deck with hot tub overlooking the babbling creek was also a highlight, and the property owner / manager was extremely pleasant and accommodating. We had a wonderful time here and look forward to staying again as soon as possible!

We enjoyed our second visit to this lovely home. Everything was very clean. We love the sound of the creek from the outdoor deck.

Our family gathered at Rocky Creek for a long weekend so we could be together for APP State graduation. The cabin is beautiful, cozy, and has every amenity you can imagine. The back deck overlooks a fantastic rocky stream surrounded by hostas, ferns, flowers and towering trees. This is a beautiful place to enjoy any occasion or just to relax in excellent comfort!

This is our second year staying at this cabin…we love it. We like to get away during our Florida Spring Break.
The weather is a nice change…the cabin is perfect. Everything you need, in great condition and a perfect location. Nice and quiet with a stream in the back yard. It’s close to a grocery store and good coffee shop. 2 must things…Centrally located to lots of fun’s places to visit and do.
Highly recommended!

Such a wonderful cabin. It is beautiful. The attention to detail the owners have put into this cabin is remarkable. It was perfectly clean and incredibly well stocked. The owners were very responsive to any question that came along.

This cozy cabin was the perfect getaway for our family of four that includes two teenage boys. The cabin itself was spotless and we could tell the owners take pride in providing a wonderful home away from home. Although the location was a little challenging with fresh snow on the road, we had zero problems getting in and out just using four wheel drive. The kitchen was well stocked, the hot tub was clean, the beds were comfy. There were well written directions left around the home in cute frames (how to use the tv remotes, check out directions, etc).We were just minutes drive to grocery stores (which all sell firewood for the fireplace), restaurants, alpine coaster, the town of Banner Elk, and Sugar Mountain (for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing). The owner was super responsive to a couple of email questions and updated us with road information and weather as we were lucky enough to have fresh snow during our visit.I would highly recommend this property!

Wonderful cabin tucked away in the gorgeous Blue Ridge Mountains. The entire property exceeded all expectations and our entire family (and pup) enjoyed it immensely. Will definitely be looking to repeat the experience again and continue to take advantage of all the outdoor activities in the area.

Girls get away in phenomenal home that was extremely organized with a very helpful host. The views from the porch over the creek were spectacular. We have never been in a rental that was so pristine. Hope to return to this phenomenal home again!

Just me and my dog enjoyed another relaxing week at Rocky Creek Cabin! Everything was perfect, as always, and had zero issues. Best-kept secret in Boone/Banner Elk (but don't tell anyone 😉). Thanks Wisdom again for sharing your special place!

Absolutely amazing, picturesque cabin with perfect location and all the amenities you could ask for. Our family of 4 stayed here for a weekend ski getaway and it was so relaxing and beautiful at the cabin my only regret is not having a longer stay. Fully stocked kitchen. Plenty of towels and cleaning supplies. Easy checkout instructions. Host was just the best and went above and beyond in communication and answering questions. Roads were clear for our trip but agree with others that AWD/4WD is necessary in the winter months. Our family has already agreed we’re going to stay here on our next trip to the mountains.

Very beautiful, clean home in a great location. You do need 4wd in the event of snow & ice but the location is perfect for hiking and skiing. There is a stream right behind the house. You can enjoy sitting in the hot tub on the back patio while listening to the water. This house is located at the end of a road and is very peaceful. Beautifully decorated and very well maintained with comfortable, clean beds. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay in this home again.

We were so fortunate to book a weekend that saw significant snow fall. In the posting, it does state that 4-wheel drive or chains are necessary, and that is 100% accurate. The road to this quiet little spot saw a good bit of ice once the temp got about freezing.
This cabin was beautiful. The view from the back deck was my favorite. You're close enough to Sugar Mountain and Beech Mountain without the crowds. Everything that we needed was there. My kids were never bored with all of the games that were available, and after a long day of skiing, sledding or ice skating, the hot tub helped relax achy muscles. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was fully stocked, and my husband wanted to take the couches with us! We loved our stay at Banner Elk, and hope to make a return trip in the future.

We had a wonderful time staying here this fall! We've stayed in many vacation rentals and this cabin had the best stocked kitchen by far! Lots of spices, plenty of dishes and glasses and all of the pots and pans we could need. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. We all enjoyed the hot tub and hanging out on the back porch around the fire pit. The location was great - away from the Boone traffic, but close enough to get to and from the football game easily. We will definitely stay here again!!

I have stayed in many cabins from, Asheville, Boone, to West Jefferson. ABSOLUTELY My favorite. From, luxurious interior, to the beautiful decks front and back, every spot was delightful. Cozy, warm and inviting. Sitting in the hot to tub in the back while listening to the roaring creek was Tranquility at its core. Convenient location. Can not wait to get back there again. Thank You, Tom and Wisdom

I have stayed at Rocky Creek Cabin 6 times now and every time is better than the last! Sitting on the deck overlooking the waterfall drinking coffee in the morning is one of my favorite things to do. The dogs love it here too. Every little detail is thought out and perfect... Even have dog bowls and towels, Foosball, Kuerig coffee maker and shower caddies full of shampoo! Was here last winter during a snow storm with over a foot of snow, and it was so beautiful! But definitely need 4WD! The owner Wisdom is very attentive if you ever need anything and very thoughtful. Thank you for sharing Rocky Creek with us!

Rocky Creek Cabin was excellent! The cabin has everything you could imagine, especially in the kitchen. We stayed for a long weekend in February and found it conveniently located to Banner Elk, Skiing at Sugar and snow tubing at Hawksnest. The cabin is privately situated at the end of a quiet street and the back porch with hot tub overlooking the creek is hard to beat.

This cabin was perfect for my young family. It had everything we needed, including a booster seat and high chair. The hot tub only worked for one afternoon but the property manager did go out of their way to try and fix it during our stay. Love the location and all the things to do in the area. Listen to their warnings - do not stay here during winter months if you don’t have 4-wheel drive. The driveway is steep and gets very icy. We had a great time and definitely plan to return.

This was a perfect place to relax with my dogs and take a break from everything for a week! I can't think of one negative thing to say, seriously. Oh, it did rain 3 straight days but we didn't care; the creek was even more beautiful and peaceful! The house had everything anyone could ever need, including doggie bowls and Kuerig coffee maker! Well done!
Thanks for sharing your beautiful place... I've already rebooked for next month :)

LOVED EVERYTHING
This cabin was in an amazing location and was equipped with everything you could ever want. Everything was very clean and organized, the hot tub was perfect for the cold nights, and the firewood was a huge plus as well. They really aren't joking about needing 4WD so definitely drive a solid snow vehicle. All in all, Rocky Creek is our new go-to weekend getaway spot.
