The property was great for a family with small kids (we especially appreciated the full crib!) and the location was perfect.
A couple of small things that could easily be fixed — the bathrooms were dirty, the pillows were unusually uncomfortable, and an exposed wire is at floor level next to the fireplace, which wasn’t ideal for our toddler.
5.0 / 5.0
The owners of this rental were incredibly responsive and helpful in the booking process and during the stay. This was so amazing because other attempts at other rentals in the neighborhood resulted frustration. They were able to wake this easy. The place was very nice and very clean.

St. Louis, is a must see!
4.0 / 5.0
The location was fantastic and the private parking was a huge selling point for us. Beds were very comfortable, and the AC units while small did a fantastic job keeping the unit cool. The code we were given for check in didn't work so we had to call and email the management company to get it reset - they responded pretty quickly via email.
The unit could use a good deep clean and some maintenance. Baseboards throughout were filthy, probably just need a fresh coat of paint, and the ones in the bathrooms near the tub appeared rotted and moldy. One bathtub had rust stains in the bottom, so we avoided using that one for my toddler's baths, even though it was the more spacious bathroom. There was a tangled mess of extension cords next to the king sized bed that I think was powering the AC unit and the WiFi - not the end of the world but something that could easily be reminded with another solution that would seem less concerning especially in a unit marketed to families with small kids. The couch is really on its last leg - I would not plan on anyone being able to sleep on it.
For what we needed and for the price, the unit was fine, but I think they could do a little work and make this a really exceptional rental for families.

Not quite the place we thought it would be. Worn out. AC out x 2 nights, though it would have been 1 if I had allowed mgmt to come evaluate but was hoping it was a snafu. Brought in window units which was great. Minimal refund for this aggravation- even though it’s a basement apt it was still hot. Will not stay there again, would not recommend.
4.0 / 5.0
Everything was as described. Clean, stocked, and comfortable.
We enjoyed the open spaces and being able to let the kids run of energy before bed really helped, too.
There were some cosmetics that needed addressed: a closet door that had come off the track and landed into the closet. An outlet in the kitchen that stuck out. I mainly noticed it because I have young kids that find every little thing like that and play with them.
This place was a perfect spot for our weekend fun! Good proximity to attractions and easy to get in and out.

Very clean and quiet. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. Excellent communication .Quiet neighborhood. Close to everything we wanted to see. We would stay again.
5.0 / 5.0
I liked the layout of the unit and even though it was on the lower level, we really couldn't tell from inside. The windows are big enough that it doesn't seem like a basement at all.
The allotted parking spot was HEAVENLY with a disabled husband and 3 kids in tow. We didn't use the kitchen much but it looked like most of what you would want for cooking meals was available. It is an easy walk to Euclid Ave where the food & shops are. Whole Foods is in the area, otherwise you will probably need to drive to a market or drug store if you need something.
The historic, sturdy construction of the building helped to minimize noise both from the people upstairs as well as the street noise so it's fairly quiet!
If you book here, be sure that you have a code for the gate or the common entryway. I never did figure out how to get thru the front (common) door. The gate to the unit has a code on it that is different than the code on the unit door so I had to contact the host to figure out how to get inside.
Communication was wonderful and timely when I had a few minor issues and I really appreciated that!

Close to everything including forest park, CWE, the grove, etc. Property was clean, spacious, and had everything wet needed. Communication was great. Wish the regular check in was a little earlier (I didn't realize it was 5p before travel plans were made, my fault). Will definitely return.

We enjoyed our two night stay in this condo. It is well located for a variety of St. Louis attractions, and is clean and well-appointed. The property managers were very timely in answering any questions we had. Highly recommend.

I traveled to St. Louis for a business meeting. My business colleague and I smelled cigarette smoke upon checking in. We left immediately because she has a severe allergic reaction to smoke and we had a business presentation the next morning and could not risk her getting sick. We contacted the host to cancel and notify them of our need to find alternative accommodations for the trip. They would not refund our money even though we could not stay in the apartment due to the condition of the space. I would not book this apartment again.

My family needed a spot close to Barnes-Jewish while my son was in their care. Property was clean and well stocked. Super close to the hospital and plenty of restaurants. Host was very responsive and helpful.

We stayed in this great property for Christmas. The two bedrooms and two baths were ideal for our family of 5 to spread out. The location was perfect for walking to all of the stores and shops in the Central West End. Communication with the host was always quick and easy. We plan to stay here again in the future!

We came to St Louis for a long weekend with my kids and inlaws. The apartment was very clean, well maintained and safe. The patio to the entrance is gated and added extra security for my family. The neighborhood was great, it was a nice area and the people were friendly. There is an Imo's pizza not far that was really good. Decent location and close to everything. The apartment was good size, beds were comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was very easy to get in touch with and replied quickly. We would stay here again!

Clean and spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. Great location for walking or driving. Everything I would want in a VRBO!
3.0 / 5.0
We recently stayed at this property and had an ok experience. There were definitely some pros and cons overall.
Pros:
Great location
Nice amount of space and layout for my family
Quiet building
Cons:
It could have been much cleaner - it was surface clean, but not really clean. There were cobwebs in most rooms, dead bugs on the floor, etc.
Bugs - it’s a garden basement unit, so I understand there might be more bugs than a higher unit. But there were ants all over the kitchen sink and counter which wasn’t great. I killed multiple live bugs as well. On the last day a giant spider crawled out from behind the oven.
Oven - the oven didn’t work which normally wouldn’t be a big deal, but I have food allergies and need to cook. This is why I try to stay somewhere with a kitchen instead of a hotel. We didn’t know it didn’t work until we were there so that was frustrating.

This was our first Vrbo experience and it was great. The apartment was clean and pleasant and well stocked and gave us a perfect home base for our short family trip to St. Louis. Much better than a hotel room would have been. Communications were easy and our questions were answered quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Property was clean and spacious. Plenty of room for a family. My mom has mobility issues so being close to parking and one level was really a plus.

We wanted to stay in a safe residential apartment for our long weekend in SL. Host was excellent, responsive. Close to Whole Foods, restaurants, retail, fitness. Very walkable. Safe entry to building and with a convenient private parking spot. Had everything we needed for our stay.
5.0 / 5.0
Had a great time here. We had a 1 and 3 year old with us and the space was great for them to have a little room and for my wife and I to have space after they were asleep. The place was clean and the communication about check in and out was great. Wonderful location in CWE. Would definitely stay here again.

First time in St. Louis. The apartment was in a safe, walkable and centrally located spot close to Forest Park which has incredible attractions, such as the zoo, museums, botanical gardens, and of course, the park itself. The space was large and comfortable. Absolutely no complaints.

Awesome location close to restaurants, grocery store and the park. Owners were great to work with and super responsive and accommodating. The property is set up nice and worked for our whole family to stay there for our son’s wedding.
5.0 / 5.0
The location was excellent and perfect for our family trip. It was great having the two bedrooms and the kitchen instead of just a hotel room. I was also able to walk to whole foods , which was convenient
5.0 / 5.0
The property was as described and was very functional for an extended work trip. Walkable neighborhood close to multiple restaurants, Whole Foods, and a huge park for running/walking etc. The 5 pm check in time was annoyingly late for us as we had an infant but after we got settled in everything was good.
5.0 / 5.0
Location is an easy walk to: Central West End Metrolink and bus station, Whole Foods and Walgreens, Forest Park, and medical buildings.
Property was clean and well looked after. We cooked most nights, and the kitchen was well laid out and stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc.
The TV worked well, couch was comfortable. Showers worked well with good flow and water temp. Beds were comfortable and the linens clean.
The entry was well lit, and we felt safe coming and going early in the morning and late at night.
We didn't have small children with us, but this looks like a good property if you have little ones. A high chair and crib were on site, and the floor is easy-to-clean vinyl flooring.
We had a couple of questions during our stay, and the owner responded quickly, even at odd hours. We're grateful for the hospitality.

Love this property!!!!!!
It is a perfect location and really quiet.
It is a ground floor apartment with just a few stairs, perfect for anyone with mobility issues. There is a parking space in the back so you don’t have to park on the street. There are two secure entrances into the apartment.
The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed! The beds were very comfortable with extra soft sheets!!!! The 2 full bathrooms were a plus!!
We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay here again!!!!
I only have 2 small suggestions…change the shower head in the large bathroom to make the water pressure better, and possibly add a television in at least one of the bedrooms.
But even if you changed nothing we will definitely stay again!!

We really enjoyed our stay. Great
Location and communication with leasing agent was great. Beds were super comfy too!
Only hiccup sink in bathroom didn’t drain well and the toilet water tank wouldn’t refill so had to manually wiggle the float. Easy fix.

Comfortable, convenient rental
The location was great. Nice quiet neighborhood with convenient restaurants, coffee house and stores within walking distance. The rental was clean, quiet and comfortable. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Will definitely consider staying here on another visit to St. Louis.

Nice place for family of 6
Really nice place. Very comfortable and clean. If I may suggest. There is a window screen in the front room by the kitchen that is ripped and needs repair. The front door needs attention… there a lot of cob webs. Lastly the refrigerator needed cleaning before we used it. Otherwise this place was really great. We’d definitely use this place again hoping the above gets taken care of😃

Much Needed Time Away
This property was in a great location. We were able to quickly and easily get to all the places we wanted to go.
We live in a small town, so it was great to stay right in the city. We were pleasantly surprised by how quiet it was at night.
It was perfect for our family and we really enjoyed our time away from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

Wonderful place to stay!
This place has an awesome property manager! Before I booked I had a couple questions and they answered my inquiry super fast! The property was clean, well equipped, comfortable, and close to everything in the city (close by car, which is doable because of the included free parking spot!) Throughout my stay the host communicated quickly to any questions we had and was very kind. We will definitely book here again for future stays!
