The bathroom was disappointing for a king suite. We had to ask for bathrobes. The room had cobwebs above the bed. Love the Chase but could be a lot better. We like to stay in the CWE to support the diversity. The young female bartender was amazing. Don’t know her name but she was awesome!

I had asked for an early check-in many times before I arrived but when I arrived there was no record of that that was disappointing so I was up sold a room for $50 a night so that I could do the work I had planned by arriving early. Also the first night there was no maid service much to my surprise for the price I paid there should be made service each and every day I was not told that there would not be. Also in the restaurant for breakfast the seating area was quite dirty with crumbs and just dirt within the creases very noticeable of the booth I was sitting in that was quite an appetizing and I don't expect that for a high-end property

This place was amazing. So beautiful and the perfect place for my birthday! I loved the movie theater and the history as well!

I think it’s ridiculous to charge a resort fee when the pool is also a ‘membership’ club for locals. So as a guest of the hotel the pool is rammed by locals, and I pay an extra fee, not optional, post my booking. Valet parking is $50 / day - which is not clear on the signage. I am not cheap, but I hate the cheeky add ons and overpriced extras when it’s meant to be a grand old hotel. Charge up front, be up front, and maybe people won’t feel like their being grifted post check in.

Excellent overall place to stay

Everything about our visit was great. Pablo, at the front desk, went the extra mile to take care of us when we arrived early. The pool is spectacular, and, although they were a bit understaffed there, the poolside servers were very friendly and helpful. The food at The Preston restaurant was delicious, and our server (Gregory, I think?) was perfect. Even the hotel's convenient store, Feelings, was good; it had everything we needed from extra hydration to medicine.

Excellent!

Amazing stay. So many things to do around the area. Valet service is outstanding as well. Would stay again for sure!!!

There was a mix up on our reservation. Check in was moved up a day. When I called to find out what was going on the reservation line was horrible they told me it was taken care of. Then when the customer service from hotels.com they said no. It all worked out in the end and a big thank you to Allison and Gaige from Chase park front desk and the hotels. Com man whose name I did not get. They took care of things and were very helpful. Great customer service on that and when we checked in. Comfortable
Clean room that we had for the night. Great experience over all.
The reservation line on the other hand was not the best. When I asked for names they said “you don’t need one.” That part was horrible customer service.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone as far as the hotel it’s self and the stay.

This is my favorite place to stay in St. Louis.

We love this property. Close to everything, clean and classy. Very romantic for couples.

My family loves your hotel! We come to St. Louis just to stay there. The rooms are great and we love walking to the local shops and catching a movie at the hotel theater.

If you can get a good rate, there is a lot to love about The Chase. When I lived in St. Louis the catchphrase was “The Chase is the place!” And for decades it has been. From movie stars to politicians, ANYBODY who is anybody has chosen The Chase. And that’s still the case today.
The hotel has a movie theater off the lobby, three great restaurants, a gorgeous pool … The list goes on and on. The pricey restaurant - The Tenderloin Room - has been one of the best steakhouses in St. Louis ever since I can remember … If it’s not a 5-star, it sure looks and feels and tastes like one.
Relaxing on a shaded couch by the pool, enjoying a refreshing drink, was something I did as often as I could during my stay.
This is a midtown hotel - which means it’s centrally located (this is important because St. Louis is spread out with many separate neighborhoods offering a variety of entertainment and dining. If you are tempted by downtown hotels, you need to know that St. Louis does not have as vibrant a downtown as some other cities. Certainly there are things to do, many bars and great music downtown but you’re still going to have to Uber to get there even if you’re staying downtown.
The Chase is literally across the street from one of the best city parks in the country: Forest Park. There you will find a truly World Class zoo (FREE!) also a World Class art museum, history museum, planetarium, paddleboats, and more. Plus, the hotel is next to The Central Westend dining/bars/shopping.

My onky complaint was abot supplies for coffee. The lids or heat protectors fit the cup thhat was there. Otherwise a vwry pleasnt stay

Very nice property in a great location. Comfortable room, nice outdoor heated pool big enough to do laps. Having the movie theater in the lobby is fun. However, a few occasions of weak service: I arrived a little bit early from the airport and they asked for all my info only to not have a room and told to come back later whereupon I had to repeat all the information. My room was not cleaned one day, and when I went to the desk at night to ask for coffee service for the next morning, the front desk looked at me like I was nuts - why are you bothering me? The coffee service was sent up within 20 minutes though. One time I wanted to eat at the hotel for breakfast but there was no host for several minutes and the waiter I asked about it said the person was “out back” and he did not seat me, so I left. The front desk personally helpfully suggested a nice place for breakfast. Another time I asked the front desk for change to provide tips and they said they don’t do that. Maybe they are a bit understaffed. I’d stay there again because I did enjoy the facility.

Close to where my daughter lives. Beautiful, comfortable hotel.

The room was average. For $480 !
a night I expected more. The shower didnt have good pressure. The ame amenities in the room were lacking. No mini bar, only 2 kcups. Pool area was understaffed. People we encountered were great. There wasnt a manager overseeing anything. Towels abd dirty glasses piled up.

Love a historic hotel. Great location in walkable Central West End. The gym is extensive though dim Nd low ceilinged. The bathroom in our one bedroom suite was small (tiny vanity area) but otherwise great!

Excellent hotel. Close to Central West End neighborhood. Beautiful renovations of a classic historic hotel. Rooms were great. I had a one bedroom suite with seperate living room. No kitchen. Restaurants were good but a little pricey. Across the street from Forest Park so golf, the zoo, and museums are very close. Front desk check in was fast and personable. Parking valet was great.

Great conversation areas, dining options, and evening bar.

Pool staff were super attentive and friendly!

It is a beautiful hotel, service was great, staff very friendly. Karen at the front desk was so kind. I will definitely stay here again!

Friends recommended that we stay at this place during our visit in town. We would not recommend this hotel to others as a stay and told our friends that they should not either. The room itself felt a bit dated for the price we paid. The parking garage cost more than it should and felt both dirty and unsafe (not to speak of the fact that the hotel charged us for an extra night of parking beyond our stay there ...). Though several staff kept asking us if we are enjoying our stay the questions we had for them they could not properly answer. In short, we failed to see what was VIP about this place.

Nice suite at not crazy price. Hotel has everything you need. Its clearly a wedding friendly place and actually the food was good and the staff very helpful

The Chase Park Plaza is always an excellent place to stay - great staff, lovely rooms and a convenient location.

Beautiful, classy hotel. Upscale restaurants and shopping nearby. Close proximity to Forest Park and the Muny, St Louis Zoo, Historical Museum and much more!

Great property

The staff have been wonderful. Helpful in every turn.
The gym has every equipment any 1 person could want but it seems they have water issues. There are buckets located throughout the gym and even still puddles of water. Plus it smells a bit, almost moldy.
Our room is lovely. Spacious, clean and the bed is comfortable. We’re close walking distance to good restaurants and bars. The park is across the way. Easy access to the art gallery or the zoo. So far we have had a good time.

Absolutely great hotel.. Definitely recommend and will return in the future. Historic and very well maintained property. I’m serious ladies and gentlemen. This place is on point!

The ambiance was amazing historic abs because atmosphere

I like the history of the property. It's lobby is very pretty. The service was not great. I had multiple rooms I'd reserved. Staff at front desk seemed overwhelmed or confused at times and did not listen when I tried to check in. The rooms are dated with old carpet and mildew smell in bathroom and our sliding door/balcony was filthy with leaves and debris and very dirty windows. Not what I expected for the $$$

Very nice area. Closer to park and shopping

Absolutely lovely property!

A very nice hotel and wonderful staff. The history of the hotel is cool also. One major issue was the beds were extremely uncomfortable- they were way too firm. How you sleep can impact your whole trip and it was difficult for both of us to get a good night sleep (we stayed 3 nights) because of the firmness of the bed. One minor issue in the bathroom was there was no hook by the shower to hang your towel- you had to lay it on the floor.
Would I stay here again? It’s such a great and beautiful hotel with great amenities but until they get better mattresses then probably not.
