About this house rental
Summary:
This 5-BDRM, 3.5-bath home is big, beautifully appointed, and built for fun. Up to 12 guests can enjoy lovely views of the rugged Colorado landscape, a dedicated game room with a pool table & air hockey, a deck with grill & firepit, and easy access to the region’s popular attractions – most in well under 30 minutes. Cheyenne Mountain State Park is practically in your backyard, just 2 minutes by car. This attractive home is situated in an upscale neighborhood near the luxurious Broadmoor Resort.
The Space:
This lovely, spacious home is located in an upscale neighborhood at the Southern end of Colorado Springs, near the luxurious Broadmoor Resort and surrounded by the quintessential, rugged natural beauty of the region. You’ll find ample off-street parking in its extra-wide driveway.
The front door of this terra cotta-hued beauty is tucked into a covered nook with a bench. Inside, you’ll be greeted by an airy, open staircase affording a view of the upstairs landing. To your left, step into a bright office space with a desk and chair, ceiling fan, and additional seating.
To your right, enter the more formal of three sitting areas in this home, furnished with rustic elegance. A wide opening near the back of the room passes into a casual dining area with a table for four, surrounded by windows offering a true Colorado view.
You’ll enjoy that same view as you cross into the kitchen/great room, from a large, arched picture window. This is truly the warm heart of the home. A spacious, beautifully appointed kitchen includes a large marble island/breakfast bar with seating for two. You’ll find everything you need here for hearty home-cooked meals. A suite of stainless steel appliances includes a dishwasher, microwave, double ovens, a French door refrigerator, and a 4-burner cooktop. You’ll also have use of a full set of chef’s knives, cooking utensils, a stocked spice rack, coffee maker and blender. Counter space and cabinet storage are plentiful. A dedicated laundry room on the main floor includes a full-size washer and dryer, wash tub, and storage cabinets.
The other half of this room is a welcoming, cozy sitting area with a stone hearth, TV, ceiling fan, and sumptuous leather furniture. A sliding glass door leads to a deck with outdoor seating, an umbrella, a fire pit, and a grill for outdoor dining and good times.
Upstairs, you’ll find a collection of bedrooms that have been decorated with love and a nod to the Rocky Mountain character.
First, a huge private suite with a king-sized bed offers its guests beautiful picture windows, a walk-in closet, and a gorgeous white marble bath with a soaking tub, gleaming glass shower stall, two-sink vanity, and a separate water closet with the toilet tucked discreetly behind its own door.
Bedroom #2 provides sleeping for three, with a bunk bed that’s full-size on the bottom and a twin up top. This room has casual, kid-friendly seating and youthful décor.
Bedroom #3 includes a pair of charming twin beds and a walk-in closet.
Bedroom #4 can host up to two guests with a queen bed, a large closet and dresser.
The hall bathroom on this level is pleasantly contemporary with a good-sized sink vanity and shower/tub combo.
This home is perched on the upward slope of a hill (not unusual in mountain country), so the basement level has full-sized windows overlooking the backyard and a sliding glass door opening onto a patio that’s partially shaded by the deck on the main level above. A flight of steps connects the deck to the patio and yard below.
This is definitely the “fun level” of the home. A large game room is divided by a two-sided glass fireplace, with a pool table on one side and a sitting area on the other, furnished with plump, comfortable furniture, a TV, a game table with seating for four, a toddler activity table, and…an AIR HOCKEY TABLE! You’ll want to spend hours here. And with a convenient half-bath, you can! This level also includes an attractive bedroom #5 with a queen-sized bed, a big window, a dresser, and walk-in closet. A full bath with a shower/tub combo is available to this guest.
Hotel-grade linens are professionally laundered after every visit. This home is managed by a local vacation rental specialist, and there’s a sense of quality and care that’s worthy of your 5-star review.

Guest Access:
We will send you detailed instructions no less than 48 hours prior to your arrival after you complete our verification portal. You will have privacy and access to the entire house using your special code given upon booking. Front door has a digital smart lock. There is room for 3-4 cars in the driveway or garage. The driveway does have a slight angle so we recommend cars with higher clearances. Since it is in a neighborhood we have limited street parking. RV's or campers are not recommended.
The Neighborhood:
The home is located on a residential street lined with large, attractive homes skirting Cheyenne Mountain State Park where you can enjoy hiking, wildlife viewing, or biking on more than 28 miles of trails. You might also try your hand at archery on its dedicated archery range.
The region is a haven for outdoors enthusiasts, offering endless opportunities for fresh-air fun, including hiking, hunting, fishing, rafting, ziplining and more. Visitors are particularly attracted to Bear Creek Regional Park East (17 minutes by car), Red Rock Canyon Open Space (19 minutes), and the Garden of the Gods Nature Center, where 300-foot-tall sandstone rock formations tower against a backdrop of brilliant sky (22 minutes). For many, the ultimate outdoor destination is Pikes Peak (“America’s Mountain”), offering once-in-a-lifetime views from its summit at 14,115 feet (30 minutes). North Cheyenne Canon Park is a family favorite only 13 minutes away as well.
Your fantastic location also places you just 16 minutes from Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, and about 15 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs and historic Old Colorado City, offering an array of funky shops, restaurants, breweries, lounges, art galleries, theaters and more. The Colorado Springs Airport is approximately 17 minutes away. The must see Seven Falls Adventures at The Broadmoor is so close at only 15 minutes away!
Getting Around:
We recommend that you have a car or use Uber or Lyft when traveling in the Pikes Peak Region. We're happy to provide bus schedules and maps too if you'd like to use public transportation.
Other Things to Note:
AGE REQUIREMENT: Must be at least 21 years old. We cannot accommodate guests who do not meet this age requirement unless prior approval has been granted by us before check-in.
-We do not have onsite maintenance or cleaning unlike hotels but all requests will be taken care of ASAP.
-Central AC units are best kept at 68 degrees or above. Due to the lack of humidity in the area if the thermostat is lowered below 68 degrees it is possible that it can freeze the unit if it is working too hard. Unfortunately, it will take 24 hours for the unit to defrost before an HVAC specialist can service it. Our evenings are generally cool in the summer time, simply opening the windows will provide extra natural coolness.
-Please review the sleeping arrangements prior to booking.
-Please keep all trash secure in the bins. Do not leave any trash out overnight for your safety and the surrounding active wildlife in the city's area.
-The TV's offer streaming services only for guest's to use their subscriptions. Just don't forget to log out!
Last, it’s your vacation, so you probably don’t want a lot of RULES. So think of these more as our strong requests:
- NO SMOKING inside. This includes Colorado’s newest cash crop.
- We provide fresh sheets, towels, hand towels, wash cloths, and essentials like shampoo, soap, toilet paper etc.
- Quiet Hours begin at 10:00pm per city ordinance. Please be courteous of the neighbors during your stay.

Please check with us on the day of your arrival to see if the property will be ready early for an early check-in or the day before your departure for a late check-out.

Similar to hotels requiring photo ID upon check-in, we ask that guests provide a copy of their Government Issued ID, a matching selfie, and a credit card to verify identity. We use this to prevent fraudulent reservations, illegal activity, and for the safety of all guests, neighbors, and homes. We take data security very seriously. The property was great, host was very responsive to requests & neighborhood was excellent. Bedrooms are spacious & comfortable, but all accessed by stairs up or down. This would be a caution for anyone with mobility issues. We would definitely stay here again.

Generally happy with the property. Only critique is I would recommend more seating in general and a bigger dining table (seated only 4) in a 5 bedroom house. But it did have beautiful views and plenty of space.

Loved house and location. Will reserve again.

Came here on a family trip w my two kids (2 and 5) and the grandparents. The home is beautiful, well stocked for actually preparing meals unlike many rentals can be. Nice toddler activity table for the kids and the pool table and air hockey made for fun family activities as well. Back deck has a gorgeous view with fire place. Grill ignition didn’t work but we bought a lighter and it was great. I think my only two asks would be thicker/cozier throw blankets for the living spaces and a set of kids friendly cups/plates but these are minor asks. The owners were super attentive and made sure we had everything needed—even sending out a maintenance crew to check the hot water heater when it turned out we were just using the faucet incorrectly! They try were so kind and accommodating. Would stay here again for sure!
