Older but nicely renovated condo close to the slopes. Floors are a bit squeaky and we recommend ear plugs if sleeping in the first room since the air intake is in the room. The rooms are nicely sized, being large enough for the crib-sized toddler air mattress to fit on the floor next to the bed. Closets are huge so there's plenty of room to store empty suitcases, carry bags, and emptied coolers so they are not in the way. The lofted ceiling made the condo seemed larger than it was and we enjoyed the fireplace on the cold nights during our visit. The only thing the condo didn't have was a baking sheet, which made cooking dinner one evening a bit of an adventure. We brought our Roku so we could stream Netflix and Disney+ so we never used the Dish cable. WiFi was plenty fast for streaming and surfing. Only drawback of the condo is being on the third floor - it is a workout going up and down to unpack and pack up the car! The walk isn't far to the base of the lifts, though a good warm-up if wanting to head to the lodge to get tickets, rentals, or visit the bunny hill. There weren't many people renting during our visit, so the noice was minimal and the few neighbors we had were quiet. We've stayed in the other building previously and prefer the layout of this condo better with the two bathrooms and larger back bedroom. Great layout for two couples or a small family.

This was a great place to stay for our holiday weekend at Timberline Mountain (4 people). It is part of the Slopeside Condos complex, just a short walk to the lifts and ski lodge. Extremely convenient - we could go home anytime for a quick break or to have a meal. The ground floor locker was a lifesaver for storing skis and gear without having to take them up to the third floor. There was lots of parking even over the MLK Holiday weekend. Plenty of towels, and a good selection of pots and pans for cooking. We also loved the gas fireplace! We did have one person sleeping on the couch - there were extra pillows for him, but no extra blankets. Luckily we brought some blankets of our own so it wasn’t an issue. Late check in was very easy, and check out was also simple - staff were very friendly. Overall, highly recommend!! Will definitely try to stay here again next time we are at Timberline.

Excellent location! Overall a good stay. A sauce pan and baking sheet would make feeding the family a little more convenient. This rental is a little older and could use just a bit of maintenance to make this unit excellent!

Last minute ski getaway to a slope-adjacent property.

This place was just as described. The rooms were bigger than I was expecting and the kitchen was well appointed. It was a little chilly—but it was below freezing so it wasn’t too much of a surprise. If going in cold weather—do bring extra blankets. We ended up bundling up before bed and were ok, but an extra blanket or two would have been nice.
When we arrived, the pull out coach didn’t have bedding—the management company was quick to remedy the problem and even dropped clean sheets off. They were super responsive throughout and made our stay easy breezy. Overall, this place was just right for our family and made our first Timberline experience great!

The condo is very convenient and cozy for a family of three! It was a short walk to the Timberline lifts.
We had one disappointment. I booked this property based on the fact that it listed internet. About a week before departing I saw a review that there was no internet. I emailed the management company and inquired. The management company confirmed that they learned there was no internet due to the same review I read and let me know they had spoken to the property owner and said that internet would be installed before we arrived.
Unfortunately, upon arrival we discovered there was still no internet. I emailed the management company about the situation. They offered a very prompt response and while they were unable to get internet installed while we were there, they were very apologetic, kind, and gave us a discount to remedy the situation.
The folks at Best of Canaan were very responsive, kind, and helpful. Thank you!

We had a wonderful experience staying at this condo! The condo was clean and comfortable and had all the essentials we needed such as paper towels, toilet paper, pots and pans, etc. I did bring things like foil and a griddle that came in handy when cooking meals. There was just a few pots and pans and it was nice having the griddle as back up and foil and zip locks from home to cover leftovers. Cable TV worked great but what we weren’t told ahead of time was that the owners got rid of their wifi due to so many connectivity issues in the mountain. We weren’t bothered by lack of wifi and just used the wifi at Timberline lodge when we were over there. But we could not really get online with the service we had unless connected to wifi. We did not have any complaints about noise from the other condos and really didn’t hear much from others staying at the complex. We loved the location, just across the parking lot from Timberline lodge and the complex is right at the bottom of the chairlifts so basically ski in and out. There was also a closet on the bottom floor for our equipment which was very convenient. As far as checking in, I did not receive any information about checking in until about 2:45pm the day of check in. I received an email with the information with clear directions. I also had reached out to the owner by messaging them on VRBO about supplies that would be in the condo and when I would receive check in instructions and never received a response. Overall my family and I were very happy and would definitely book the condo and book with The Best of Cannon again!

Great location if you are wanting a true ski in / ski out. Older building so walls are thin but everyone was respectful and quite during the night. Ski locker on ground level makes life easy without have to carry gear up the stairs.

The apartment was nice and near the slopes. My issue is that it listed internet as an amenity, and it did not have it at all. The property manager didn’t help and wouldn’t respond after investigating. As someone who works remotely, I would not rent this spot again.
