Beautiful property. Gorgeous room, beautifully decorated and exceedingly clean and comfortable. Very welcoming hosts.
Nothing
4.1
The size of the room. The lady who greeted us and served breakfast. The breakfast room.
There were spiders in the bathroom and the bed was two singles pushed together rather than one bed.

Impressed with the age and condition of such an old house, but could the very squeaky floorboards be silenced? Amused by the false bookcase! Ingenious!
Difficult to find - though our satnav had failed earlier in the day.
Breakfast was disappointing, bacon was overcooked and fried eggs were a mess
4.1
Beautiful location and the owners were very welcoming. The house is full of history very interesting and the barn rooms have been renovated to a very high standard.
Sat nav did not work very well so would suggest having a map.

The place seemed like it should be Italy or somewhere like that...Rustic yet elegant. We seemed to be the only people about on the night of the (self) check-in tho we had a contact person to call and there were other people on the large property I'm sure. It was mysterious and lovely. It is a horse property as well, where people can board their horses and ride in the nearby countryside. The room was in a converted barn and decorated in a colorful, unusual and tasteful way. The good breakfast was in a lovely dining room of the main house.
4.1
A very impressive house in the middle of nature. A lot of family history here. An experience you will never forget.

The breakfast was excellent, the lady who looked after us (Nikki) was very helpful and pleasant, she made our stay as pleasant as possible.
No television or radio in room, one kettle in corridor to be shared between rooms, no ensuite toilet. We were supposed to have a private bathroom, but on two separate nights we had to share. The overall internal parts of the building needed care and attention, e.g. plaster broken/cracked in corridors, stairs and room. Only one side of the staircase had a railing.... Safety? Our room was not cleaned, but over a six night stay we would have expected it to have been cleaned at least once or twice.

The welcome from staff member Nicky was really appreciated. She was bubbly, sociable and welcoming. Nick made us coffee upon arrival which was lovely.
The general communication between the property owners and myself was excellent throughout.
Finally the room was stylishly decorated, well maintained and peaceful. A beautiful location!
The King Size Bed only had 2 Single Duvets on it. My partner and I were hoping for a King Size Duvet to cover it!

the property was very traditionally British

Breakfast was good.
It would be better if there were onsuite bathrooms /shower. The shower through the dining room would not be ideal if guests are eating in there. Also would like the option of full English breakfast.
4.1
Breakfast fantastic
Very comfortable room - bathroom for our use only. The owners were friendly and chatty. We were in company with my husbands cousins at Hollamoor and our stay was very good.
It was a very long drive from East Kent on a Friday with dreadful traffic.
4.1
Very comfortable stay, excellent breakfast and easy access for Puppy walking around the farm.
Thought the price for bringing the dog may be a little high, although good access for walks.

Stunning location

The largely unspoiled rural surrounds and still original but well maintained condition of this farm.made an everlasting impression upon us Dutchmen with a lifelong passion for the British countryside and its rural architecture. The owner had clearly done her/his best to give a personal touch to the quite spacious rooms over the former stable yard and the breakfast room inside the main farmhouse adding antique furniture, pictures, upholstery and even interesting book collections.
There were no disappointments really. Our own travel plogramme however became a personal disappointment. It turned out to be too tight to stay longer when we realised that we could spent more days at Hollamoor Farm than the single night we had booked.. It has much to offer if one loves resting and reading after a long day of walking. So we booked another night. Regrettably we did not have enough time to add a third one.

Breakfast was a traditional home cooked & delicious. Our room was a treat, one of several in a 400 yo barn convert. Our host, George was so welcoming, a cup of tea on arrival was a nice way to end our travelling day. We had information left in our room on local restaurants & things to do.
Nothing.

Great Location, so peaceful & friendly staff
nothing not to like!

A very warm welcome from the hosts - felt like part of the family.
Wi-fi wasn't offered or mentioned but I wasn't there long enough for it to be an issue.

The breakfast was plentiful and delicious
The heating wasn't on so the rooms were cold.

Location was nice. That’s about it.
Caroline is rude and nasty. Insulting woman. Booked private bathroom and had to share. Was not private and actually states our preference was a ‘quiet stay’
Sharing a breakfast table with 6 other guests and a bathroom with someone else when also told we have a private bathroom isn’t the best.
4.1
The room was spacious and nicely decorated!
The shower pressure I very good!
Very good breakfast
The room was clean but it looked like there was a dog in there after it got cleaned? so god hair was pretty much EVERYWHERE!
The breakfast is at a table where all the visitors sit on! if you are not a morning person or basically a people person I don’t think you would enjoy it 😅😂
Kettle is shared! there is not individual kettle for each room😔
The farm feels like its a bit out of nowhere

Breakfast in the dining room with an open fire- also on arrival our hosts made us tea and hot cross buns. Very much appreciated after a long drive. The quiet was wonderful and we took a walk around the estate and he views were great.
Nothing, could not fault our stay.

Room was excellent. Breakfast very good with fruit juice, fruit and cereals to start with plenty of alternatives to spread on toast.
Only offered poached eggs with cooked breakfast and my wife had to request fried eggs fried both sides.
4.1
Rural location was relaxed an heavenly, really comfortable bed set in a cosy warm room, from a lovely barn conversion!! Our dog was welcomed too an enjoyed his stay an walk around.
(Stayed during storm Arwen..an had good nights sleep!) Ambience of breakfast room was a truly quaint setting..
Overall a lovely stay,thank you
Breakfast was poor- well over cooked bacon, cold mushrooms.
Maybe cook fresher with timings of guest sitting to table as hosts knew time of our request for breakfast upon our arrival.
4.1
Disappointed with the breakfast. Clearly most ingredients had been pre-prepared and kept warm in advance of our arrival. Having said all that we were impressed that the b’fast was included in the price.
Our hosts were charming and it was unfortunate we couldn’t spend longer in the area. Always another time.
Nothing to report

The hosts
A little remote / dark for a single female traveller in winter! But I soon settled in and was made to feel very welcome.
4.1
delicious breakfast,
The room was spacious, clean and well decorated.
the room was 100% according to the pictures
The farm is not so easy to find.
4.1
Location - superb. Breakfast delicious in wonderful historic setting. Vast fireplace and family portraits from Elizabethan times onwards.
Bathroom facilities. In the main building only a shared bathroom. Bath was clean but shower had mold.
