About this house rental

Our new home has 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms, each one is like its own master suite. Take a soak in our hot tub or enjoy the night sky around the firepit. Enjoy the 14 foot bi-folding patio door that oversees the gorgeous mountain ranges in Kanab. Get much needed rest on our high-quality mattresses. High speed internet is included with your stay making it the perfect place for remote work. The kitchen is fully equipped to cook anything. The outdoor space is unmatched with a playground, corn hole, firepit, hot tub and outdoor table.
This cozy house was named after the desert tortoise found in Southern Utah. We are located between several national parks, Zions, Bryce Canyon, Northern Rim of the Grand Canyon (open from May to October) and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. In addition, Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park and Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is located within a 15-minute drive. There are also plenty of hikes located in and around Kanab, including the world famous “The Wave” hike. Our favorite is the Moqui Cave hike. Imagine exploring any one of these beautiful locations and coming back and taking a soak in our hot tub or enjoying yourself around the campfire looking at the stars. There is plenty of parking in the 2-car garage for your car and any toy you bring. Kanab has access to OHV, ATV, hikes and biking. A gravel RV pad is located next to the house available for your use. Located in each room is a smart TV so you can watch all of your favorite shows from your favorite streaming service.
House Rules
• No Smoking
• No Pets
• Upon departure load and start dishwasher
• Take a shower before using the Hot Tub
• Remove shoes at the door. Shoe racks are located near the front door and in the laundry room.
• If doing more than 2 loads of laundry please purchase your own laundry detergent.
• Make sure fire is turned off when finished using it
• Make sure grill is turned off and all food is removed
• Remove all food and ice from fridge upon departure
• Place all used linens in a pile to wash

Please note: there are security cameras on the perimeter of the house and in the garage. There is a camera near the front door, one on the west side of the house, one in the garage and one on the back patio overlooking the backyard.

Well appointed kitchen and bath. Can't forget the great beds and perfect backyard. Grill was clean and ready to go. Located in a great neighborhood. Town has everything you need as a basecamp for all the surrounding areas. To much to list, like new, book it!

We had a wonderful time in Kanab. This house was beautiful. It was very organized. The beds were comfortable. We loved the hot tub, fire pit, playground- and especially the doors that open up all the way in the family room. While here we visited Zion, Bryce, PeekABoo slot canyon and many trails in the area.

This house was very clean and well appointed. I was able to reach the owner right away when we had an issue. It has a great layout with 3 beds and 3 baths. We enjoyed the hot tub. Kanab is a nice little town and a great location equal distance from several National Parks.

Our family (2 adult children with their significant others stayed) stayed here and had the best vacation. We did north rim Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, and Zion. The house was perfect location to them all within and hour to hour and a half driveway to trailhead. The beds were so comfortable and the hot tub was amazing after our hikes. The fire pit was enjoyed, everything was spotless. We would stay here again without questions

Beautiful home in a great central location! We visited Bryce Canyon, Zion, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Cedar Breaks National Monument, and Page, AZ. The three bedrooms with attached baths were great for our family. We enjoyed the hot tub and play center for the kids. The home was very clean and well organized. Chanell was quick to respond to any inquiries.

This was easily one of the cleanest and most modern rentals I have ever had in this price range and it was fantastic. 3 professional ladies in town for an event, everything was in order, all appliances worked, modern decor, soft clean rug, bedrooms were spacious, quiet, and private - each bathroom clean, modern, with luxury appointments, beds super comfy, roomy fridge - nothing was skimpy, cotton linens, plenty of pillows, all of our surprises were pleasant! Roomy garage to park your vehicle out of the sun, hot tub was clean and enjoyable. We didn't use the grill but it looked nice and the neighbors/neighborhood was super pleasant. I don't think our hosts could have been more considerate (we were a little spazzy with the lock! lol) and accommodating. Close to everything Kanab. We cannot thank you enough for sharing your lovely home with us and we truly thank you for an enjoyable stay. (Our only FYI, we did not find a blowdryer supplied so bring one if that is something you rely on. Otherwise we found everything we needed, and more, supplied at the house - just perfect!)

I have stayed at a lot of VRBOs over the years but this was by far the best managed. I was highly impressed with how this place had everything I needed/wanted. Everything from plastic utensils for the toddler to excellent guides/descriptions of good hikes! This place itself is lovely with great views, and the location is very convenient.

What a wonderful home to make base camp for visiting the National Parks in southern Utah. King size beds and ensuites made this a perfect choice. Even was able to have a family Cornhole match! Top notch home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Lots of room including a large kitchen (with all we needed) and open family space, while also having 3 good-sized bedrooms and bathrooms. The backyard has ample shade for sitting outside...and enjoying the hot tub. Very quiet neighborhood. Super clean home. Kanab was a great home base for checking out multiple parks and gorgeous hikes. Would love to stay here again some day.

The Blue Tortoise was an amazing experience! Super clean and organized. It had everything we needed and was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do. Kanab also had plenty of adventures nearby if we didn’t feel like driving the hour or so to other trails.

Our family stayed in Kanab while exploring Bryce Canyon, Zion National Park, and the Grand Staircase Escalante. This property was even better than described. One of my two sons said it was the nicest VRBO we've ever stayed in! Three spacious bedrooms each with its own bath. Plush towels, luxurious bedding, and a very well appointed kitchen with items that are all meticulously organized and labeled! Grilling tools are supplied as well. Not a single detail is overlooked with this property. You can't go wrong!

This house is super inviting! The backyard was great for the kids and we enjoyed the outside sitting areas! The house is close to the city center and it was very easy to get to all of the hikes around the area! Chanell was a great host and was very prompt to answer any of our questions! We highly recommend this property!

We loved this place. We chose to rent a house over a hotel to have a cooking option. Sometimes you get to a place only to discover there isn’t much to cook with. This place had almost every kitchen supply you could need! The hot tub was nice to soak our feet after a long day hiking and the beds were very comfy. The owner was great to communicate with and quick to find out information for me. We would definitely stay there again.

We rented this beautiful, well-maintained & well-stocked home for our family’s vacation. We visited Zion, Bryce Canyon, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and hiked several trails around Kanab. Chanell's house was so clean and so comfortable. As soon as you walk in you can tell the pride in ownership. The house looked and smelled so fresh. There were ample supplies for all our needs. The best part...the BEDS! I am a very picky person when it comes to comfort in a bed. The beds gave us all a great night's sleep. The sheets and comforters were crisp and.clean and provided perfect warmth. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and utensils. An added bonus was that all drawers and cupboards were labeled so you could easily find everything you were looking for. We will definitely stay here again when we are visiting the National Parks. We highly recommend Chanell's home.

We were pleased from the moment we stepped into the house. It was very clean, well furnished and homey. The bedding, pillows and beds were so comfortable…we slept great!! The towels were very plush. Overall we had a great experience and would definitely stay here again. The bonus was the hot tub to soak in after Lind days of hiking.

It’s very conveniently located for the national parks that are all around. Kanab is a nice town as well. The owners were responsive as well. Overall a great experience for our family.
