I think you should love it too

Overall it was a great place to gather for friends and family.
The listing said 3 bedrooms but it was only 2 bedrooms and a sleeping alcove with a privacy curtain. It was really stressful trying to figure out sleeping arrangements for kids when we counted on having 3 bedrooms with doors.
The hot tub water was cloudy and slimy. Only a few folks felt comfy using it. I was told by the owners son that the well water had sediment which made the water this consistentancy.

Great property and well-maintained cabin. The owners have put a lot of time and attention into amenities and anything you could need for an enjoyable stay.

The property was clean, and welcoming. The adults, kids and dogs all enjoyed the stay. We went to the field to watch the Geminids. It was amazing!
The negative
The kitchen could have been better appointed with a pitcher, strainer, better sheet pans.
I don't want to complain we had a great time and would love to stay here again.

The hosts thought of absolutely everything to make us feel comfortable and welcomed at their property.
The few times I contacted Josh, he returned the answers to my questions in a very short amount of time.
We look forward to returning again!

Stayed for an anniversary get away. We found the cabin spacious and well provisioned for leisure. Convenient hot tub right out the back door. Loved the front porch rocking chairs and picnic table for sunny meals and happy hour. Enjoyed the 1.6 mile property perimeter trail for walks, star gazing and fall foliage. Kitchen great for cooking and very large dining table for meals. Bedrooms and bathrooms comfortable and in perfect condition. Convenient to Grand Canyon of PA and many other sites.

This spacious and clean home has everything one could need for a relaxing getaway. The owner was quick to answer questions, and the property was well stocked for any type of visit. The hot tub was sparkling, warm, with plentiful towels. The furniture was comfortable and thr house was very cozy. We enjoyed making meals and eating together at the huge dining table. Cornhole boards were used and easily stored on the porch. The only thing we disnt use was the fire pit, but we were able to sit out there on our beautiful fall day, as well as the lovely porch rockers in the mornings. Got our hearts pumping walking in the beautiful field. I loved every minute of our stay and an extended weekend is not really enough to fully enjoy this place, although we tried! Definitely recommend, and next time the dog is coming too!

We had the perfect weekend getaway here with our pups! The location was beautiful and so quiet and peaceful. Josh was very communicative and polite. Our pups loved sitting on the hill out back and roaming the field. The hot tub was amazing to relax in and look at all the stars. The house had everything we needed, including some board and card games we took advantage of after coming back from hiking at some local spots. Perfect place to kick back and enjoy some alone time in nature. Can’t wait to stay again!

Absolutely loved the log cabin! It is very well kept and immaculately clean. Master bed was the most comfortable ever. Loved the pillows and comforter as well. Really enjoyed the decor and atmosphere of the place as well as the hot tub. Enormous private star gazing field was a spectacular feature. Also enjoyed walking the feild perimeter with my two dogs. Thanks for being such an excellent host!

Our favorite thing was sledding on the property. Character of the house was cool. Owners emailed to make sure we were satisfied (everything was great). Only downside is being close to a busy road. I think we'll be back again.

Our grandson received a telescope for Christmas, so part of his gift was a weekend of stargazing. We were so happy to find this sweet cabin just a short distance from Cherry Springs and a certified Dark Sky area, but we didn't need to travel to see an abundance of stars in the sky above the backyard of the cabin. The cabin is perched on a hill in a secluded and private area with big views and big sky. Our first day was snowy, and we were so happy to see that sleds were provided and the back yard is a perfect sledding hill! The second night, the sun came up on a clear crisp day and after a day of hiking in Cherry Springs Park, we set up the telescope in the yard just off the back porch, and were able to focus in on 4 moons surrounding Jupiter!! When I say Josh & Laurie thought of everything, I mean EVERYTHING! All cabinets are thoughtfully labeled with contents so no need to root around for what you need. Kitchen is well stocked and even has an assortment of basic spices! Need a wine opener, an extra battery, a flashlight, a pair of binoculars, laundry detergent, extra large towels for the hot tub, and practically anything else you forgot? Chances are, they thought of it. There are also extra nice touches of fleecy blankets on the backs of couches, for snuggling and watching the snowfall, big and fluffy white towels and washcloths (in abundance!), an assortment of books and games and so many other conveniences to make a perfect stay. Let me tell you about the hot tub...there is nothing like a steamy relaxing soak in the hot tub while watching the snow fall or picking out constellations in the biggest, darkest sky you may ever see. We cooked, played lots of board games, fit in a little bit of football (could not be avoided because men in the family and PLAYOFFS!) Lastly, we appreciated the fact we were permitted to bring our 2 sweet and well mannered french bulldogs who are part of the family and also had a great time hiking at the park. We cannot thank Josh and Laurie enough for a memorable family weekend. Would definitely like to stay again.

We had an excellent stay at the cabin. A true, old fashion cabin with modern amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub each evening, the fire pit one night and star gazing up the lane another night. I enjoyed siting on the covered front porch each morning with a cup of coffee or 2. We all enjoyed the rustic feel of the cabin. It is a work of art! There is also plenty to see and do in the area, within a 30 to 50 minute drive. We all enjoyed our stay and I definitely stay here again.
