The location is fantastic and house is as listed, although it’s more spacious than it looks. We spent a weekend in Dubuque riding our motorcycles enjoying the river views and curvy roads. The location is a quiet neighborhood near downtown. The neighbors were very polite with a few stopping to visit when we were in the driveway. The Dubuque hills can be a little challenging to navigate especially on a bike. The streets are narrow and Fenelon Place on a hill. We managed fine but something to be aware of for newer riders. Would definitely stay here again.

Fenelon Place delivered exactly as promised! It’s a very tidy place with excellent space for our group of eight adults. There is also a nice deck which we enjoyed immensely - gorgeous views overlooking downtown Dubuque, the Mississippi and Wisconsin! Just fantastic! We loved it!

This property was so simple to come and go as we needed! We were in town for a family event and the house was a perfect gathering place in between activities. Comfortable and good floor plan. Thank you for everything! A baking sheet was the only thing we wished we had. Otherwise perfect! Thank you for covering the basics but not over the top or complicated.

There were 5 adults and 1 infant; we had plenty of room for everyone. We hosted a luncheon to celebrate my daughters graduation and had a total of 12 and still had plenty of room. The location was convenient to the downtown area, grocery store and University of Dubque. We would stay again.

This property was perfect for our family while staying in Dubuque. It is up on the bluff with a view of the river. Just a short walk to the Fenelon Place Elevator and there was a small playground around the block for our grandkids.

We loved our stay! The property is beautiful and had everything we needed. We had a few separate families staying and all felt like we had our own space. The neighborhood felt safe and was in a great location. The property manager was extremely helpful and answered all our questions. We would definitely recommend!

This was a great place for our Dubuque and Cedar Rapids families to come and go during our 3 day stay. The rest of us had 2 and 3 hour drives, so renting was a great way to go. There was plenty of room and because of the open floor plan everyone could participatr in conversations and play board and card games.

This townhouse was perfect for our stay. My Mom passed and we were there for the funeral. Great location, quiet, nice size kitchen and family gathering area. Fun to walk down to the 4th Street Elevator and check out the view, take a ride. Great memories for all! Will definitely stay here again.

We had 4 adults and all of us thought the same thing. This is a very comfortable and clean place to stay. 2 more adults could have been easily accommodated as the entire lower level was not needed by the 4 of us. Appliances were in good shape and worked well. Two suggestions. We thought a second chair in the living room would be nice and some chairs for the deck would be great. These are strictly friendly suggestions as we will definitely look into staying here again when we visit Dubuque.

Gathered here with siblings & spouses for a two-day autumn getaway. The 4 BR / 3BA arrangement housed us very well — perfect for our 7 adults. It felt new and was very clean; has a comfortable kitchen, dining, &. sitting area; and is tastefully decorated throughout. Communications with the owner was excellent — clear, thorough, accommodating & timely. A great place that fully met aspirations for our stay. Thank you!

This property is exactly as it’s advertised. It’s clean, comfortable, and close to downtown. The neighborhood is lovely and a half block from the Fenelon Elevator which we used to get back up the hilll from downtown to this beautiful condo. We are five teacher friends who have stayed in many vrbo homes over the last 15 years and we really enjoyed our stay. We had a wonderful time in both Dubuque and Galena.

We came to the area for a youth baseball tournament at Field of Dreams. The house was clean, big, decorated very cute, and had great views! They supplied everything you would need for a long stay. The location was great, close to downtown, and they supplied a complete list of recommendations for the area. Would definitely stay again if we are back in the area!

Our bridal party and their spouses stayed at this property for 2 nights the weekend of our wedding. Everyone had their own room and the common space had enough room for everyone to be able to spend time together. The property was beautiful and clean. Would recommend and would stay again!

Great neighborhood lots of birds and bunnies. Great location. Love all the extra touches, such as shampoo and body wash in every bathroom and board games. With 10 people staying in the house loved that it had 3 bathrooms. There is a train close by so you do have the noise from that. Also, I’d recommend you bring a sleep mask because the sun comes up around 6:30 am and the blinds in 2 of the bedrooms are paper thin (no privacy from neighbors). Overall really enjoyed staying in this townhouse and would stay again.

This house is amazing, very clean, modern, and gorgeous!!! We had 11 ladies spend the weekend, there were plenty of beds, bathrooms, and relaxing fireplace/porch. It snowed Saturday morning, which made the view of the trees and river beautiful. It was centrally located and communication with owner was easy. We will definitely be back next year.

Exactly what we needed

This unit was exactly what I needed to facilitate a planning retreat with some of my staff. We each had our own bedroom (there were four of us) and all reported sleeping well. The owners have provided a place that is well appointed and very attractive inside and out. We were very comfortable as we spend hours (over 3 days) discussing future plans. From the unit, you can get to just about anything you could want or need very quickly for meals and down time. One bonus: there is almost no wait time for hot water - anywhere in the place. That may not be a big deal to most, but it really stood out to me.
