Welcome to one of Lake State Property's favorite getaways! Poppy's Place is located on Pine Lake and 1.5 miles from town. Lots of privacy for you and your guests and only a couple minutes to downtown Crosslake. Enjoy the large deck with a gas BBQ for outdoor cooking and the nearby firepit or simply walk down to the dock and jump in. There are lots of areas for you and your guest to spread out or cozy up. Up to you.

This house features large open windows, enclosed 3-season porch with poker/game room, central air conditioning, ceiling fans in every room perfect for a hot summer night and a well-deserved bottle of wine. This three-bedroom + other spaces for resting through the night, three-bathroom home has lots of extra nooks and crannies for the kids to explore or maybe you just want to curl up with a good book and escape, we're working on our 3 secret hideouts, hopefully they'll be ready for you for summer of 2024, but don't let that stop you. With two fireplaces inside and the firepit outside, you can stack the perfect smore. The new large dock gives you plenty of room to pull up with your pontoon. If you don’t have one, we can help you find a rental. Both front and back yard have large areas of lawn which your little one will love and you and your guests will have plenty of room to set up the yard games.

The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the room is spacious and located on the 3rd floor with an adjoining loft that features two twin beds overlooking the main living space. This house is perfect if you and another family want to team up for the next big adventure. There are sleeping arrangements on all three levels of the house and can accommodate more than meets the eye (10). There are also bathrooms on all three floors.

Once you get outside, it’s not hard to enjoy the privacy this home offers with a beautiful view, perfect tree cover, a fresh lake breeze and a complete end-to-end deck with plenty of seating and room to BBQ. At Poppy’s Place, you’ll immediately feel at home, as will your guests.

Poppy’s Place is booking year-round and only a few minutes from downtown Crosslake.

We are a group of 4 senior couples that enjoyed our stay at Poppy’s Place. However, there were a few items that we were not happy about. One bathroom had dried toothpaste in the sink, multiple strands of long black hair on the floor, spiders and spider webs in the corners and a non-working outlet. This led us to believe the cabin was not cleaned properly. We arrived at 5:00 pm, so they had plenty of time to clean. However, Stacy told us it was the cleaning lady’s last day. So, future guests shouldn’t have the cleaning issues we had. Also, there were several burnt out light bulbs, dirty windows, no firewood, no dish soap or hand soap. Stacy did bring us 1 bottle of hand soap and some small bars of bath soap. However, we were very grateful and appreciated that the owner allowed us to park our 4 classic cars in the 2 garages!

Poppy’s Place was a wonderful space for a planned, and also needed, get-away. The lake is small, but peaceful and quiet. An unexpected highlight was the fire pit, we had a bonfire every evening! It’s close proximity off the deck was conducive to family gathering for late night talks and music. Overall the home is beautiful, very clean and welcoming. Thank you for this, Stacy!

We had a wonderful time spending the weekend at this location. We had lots of room for sleeping, playing board games, kayaking, and cooking out. The kitchen had everything we needed. After using all the dishwasher soap, we ran out and Stacy brought us more! What great service!

Several main closet doors are off-track, and pretty unusable. Second refrigerator stopped working halfway through visit. Loft ceiling fan did not work at all. Upstairs bedroom was hot; basement was damp and cold. Should provide beach towels at property. Outside patio, chairs, and exterior were not clean and buggy. Coffee maker needs to be updated.

Beautiful home and property. Stacy was very responsive to texts and very easy to work with. We had 9 people so the dining table was not big enough for all of us to sit and eat. However we did notice that in pictures so we brought a folding table. Overall very nice place to stay. Definitely would stay again.

Poppy’s Place was a lovely spot for our family of 8-ranging from my 93 year old Mother and infant grandchild- to share time together. The house was clean, comfortable, attractive and great for each family couple to have their own space and privacy. Shared spaces were comfortable and had good access to those working in the kitchen. Lighting in the main living room was lacking and made it difficult for reading and other activity requiring more light. Safety hand guards in the main floor bathroom would have been greatly appreciated, as well. Our group needed a larger eating area for us to share time around a table, but it was fine for a smaller group and we improvised. The yard and lake were lovely and we enjoyed the quiet neighborhood that was also close to Cross Lake and Crosby/Cuyuna communities. We would go back to this location with our family in the future. Thank you!

House was spacious and clean. Only draw backs were the lake was not connected to the Whitefish Chain. The weeds off the shoreline were so thick our dog had trouble swimming. Also neighbors are very close.

Very nice home. Great experience with Property Manager. Pretty steep bank at the lake and pretty weedy but no problem for us as we were not planning on using the lake other than for dog to swim. Very nice deck and fire pit.

Wonderful property for a long-weekend with three generations of family ranging from ages 12-80. Great location in a beautiful, quiet setting. The home was very well equipped with everything you need. The kitchen was extremely well equipped for preparing meals for a large group. Great fishing from the dock --- we could not keep up with helping the kids release the fish. We enjoyed the fire pit and large deck for relaxing and being together. Stacy was responsive and easy to work with. We look forward to returning.

We were very impressed with the home. Comfortable beds and lots of space to spread out. The place was very clean and the kitchen was well appointed. The only negative is that there is no place for a family to dine together. The table in the screen porch sits 6 people max and we were 7 total. Other than that, the place was really nice. Great fishing on the lake as well.

Stacy was such a responsive host to any questions or concerns and met us at the property soon our arrival. Home was beautifully appointed inside with plenty of space to cook and enjoy different spaces for eating, reading, playing games or doing yoga. The lake is quieter than many that we have stayed on in area and wonderful for relaxing outdoors. Bald Eagle visited us twice during week😀

We had a great time! The home is beautiful, spacious and very clean. The view of the lake from the deck is wonderful and we really enjoyed the outdoor space. We met at Andy's bar in Crosslake which was fun and spent an afternoon srtolling around Nisswa. Our lunch at Bar Harbor was really good. Thank you

The Cross Lake home is a perfect getaway for big groups or family. It has ample space for bigger groups, access to outdoor recreation on site and nearby, and entertainment at home. The owners are incredibly friendly and communicative, and plowed out the driveway when 13" of snow fell! I highly recommend this house for your next getaway! Just a note, the dining room table seats 4, and the other table is in the screened in porch (which is just too cold to use in the winter). So larger groups might be eating in the living room and kitchen if you come in winter.

We were very pleased with this home. The pictures are very accurate. It is immaculate, clean and Stacey is a wonderful host. She checked in to make sure all was well. The beds are amazingly comfortable (something I love), the neighborhood is quiet and we enjoyed the lake access just down 44 steps! It was just our family of 5 with 3 adult children so everyone got their own room. I definitely recommend this property.
