Upon arrival everything seemed easy and clean! Great location and we all felt safe! We were there for a bachelorette weekend and unbeknownst to us at the time of booking, former President Trump had agreed to speak at music city which is perfectly fine. What wasn’t fine was the fact the wifi didn’t work. I know it seems small but all the TVs were smart tvs and only worked when hooked to wifi. When it gets busy, cell service also gets jammed so again, wifi would have been great. Why we wanted the TVs to work so badly; we needed to be informed as to what roads were blocked, where to avoid, it was a stormy weekend and we were told wifi! Again, we tried to use our phones but the cell service for hotspots which worked sometimes but again, cell service (not their problem) was less than par and no wifi. Mind you I reached out to the management company twice and they never resolved the issue. On top of that, we kept finding small bugs and ants on the kitchen floor bathroom. The kitchen sink barely drained and the drain in the bunk bed bathroom barely drained as well. The ice maker never worked either but that’s not a huge issue. There are a lot of stairs, but we knew that going in, so that’s not the point of this review, more just to reiterate. I’m most frustrated with the fact that even after two attempts to get the wifi fixed, it was never resolved. You’ll get a view and location but that’s about the extent.

I rented this property for my daughters 21st birthday, stayed 6/7/24 - 6/10/24. The location was great, no problem with the steps or layout really. But the house was extremely run down. Walls and steps scuffed, rugs dirty, cabinets need new paint. The bedrooms and beds were ok. There were 3 lights out in the master bath. Ice maker did not work. Ants in the kitchen. Rooftop cushions were thin and torn up. The worst part was the white couch in the fam room which was really the only place to hang out as a group. It was so filthy i made the girls put a blanket down before they could sit on it. Same with the throw pillows. These are all things you could not tell from the pictures but definitely affected the quality of our trip. I don’t usually post such negative reviews but people should be aware to keep looking, especially for the price for only 3 nights!! Vacasa should do better. Also I posted a review on their site and they haven’t posted it. 🙄

Took a girls trip and this home was perfect- very close to down town which made it great. Great weather while there. Will go back again and again.

Overall super great location! We just did not like how many stairs there were, we wish that would have been mentioned in the advertisement is all. Also we had an issue with dirty sheets. The property manger was quick to respond and get in touch with us to provide a solution. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Great house for a girls weekend. Plenty of room for everyone and great location to everywhere

Beautiful home in a very nice area!

Not much to love here. Lots of potential; this was probably a nice home many, many guests ago. When we stayed in March 2024, all the shine was gone and the property felt worn down. Location was perfect. But I wish I would have booked a hotel— especially with the final price being EXCEPTIONALLY high for a very unexceptional property. Word to the wise— keep looking.

I booked this property on vrbo and then learned that this property was managed by vacasa. I personally would never have booked a property that was managed by a company for multiple different reasons. But this was my first time booking on vrbo as i typically have a smaller group and just stay in a hotel while traveling. We had 9 girls stay at this property for a bachelorette party and it was the perfect space. Plenty of beds and bathrooms. The downfall of this rental experience was the lack of early check in and slow response from vacasa. Our flight landed at 7:30am and we weren’t able to check in until 4pm. A few weeks prior to our trip, i messaged and asked about an early check in and was advised that i may or may not receive notification that early check in was available. I never got that text. About a week prior to our trip us girls decided we were willing to pay for an early check in or even book the rental for the day prior so that we could get in right away on friday when we landed. It took forever to get a response and i even had to call multiple times to get any sort of answer. You can’t pay for an early check in. I would understand if the space was occupied but i checked the available dates and no one had the property booked the days leading up to when we had the property booked. Ample reason why i never will book a property that is managed by a property management company again. Absolutely not personable. One other complaint would be that the lock on the front door

We loved this place, there are a lot of stairs - so just a warning if you have someone who can’t go up and down a bunch of stairs, but the place is great and close to downtown.

This was a great house in a great location. It was very clean and had a cool vibe. The walls look like they might have had marks on them but it was touchup paint. They just had a different finish than the original paint.

Beautiful home in a safe area. Everyone in our party (4 couples) was extremely happy and would definitely stay here again. There ARE a lot of stairs, but the beautiful city views are well worth it. The dumbwaiter/butler was a great asset, while trying to get groceries and coolers to the kitchen floor.
4.6
The home was close to many attractions and good places to eat. It was comfortable and if the weather had been better we would have used the rooftop area. Garage is not large enough for two mid sized vehicles. But there is ample parking. There were plenty of supplies for the house.

Great views of city and walking distance to main hub of city (+1 mile Broadway St)
Excellant well priced food in restaurants, Listening Room great venue, 2hr. Buss tour of city excellant. Went Predators/Ducks game, mixed feelings, smaller seats, fans are rude to visiting Ducks

The house was great with a few exceptions (nothing that we couldn't figure out how to modify our own comforts with). Downstairs bedrooms share a Jack & Jill bathroom, so having a mirror in each of the bedrooms would have been nice so others could use the bathroom sooner. Be aware of the many stairs (great exercise to just get to the kitchen). Ubers were very inexpensive to get to the "Action" Ice maker was broken, we fixed it with You Tube but it didn't get ice until the day we left. Overall, a great comfortable setting for gathering in the living room and on the rooftop.

Location was perfect

The location and convenience of the home was great!
It would be helpful to have bunk beds on the level with the shared bathroom giving adults a separate bathroom.
The overall cleanliness was sufficient but the place could use a deep clean including baseboards, headboards and floors.
The bedding was sufficient but mattress protectors would be better and mattresses are well worn.
Kitchen was fine. Given the numbers the house holds more dishes would be helpful. There are only 5 coffee mugs.
A warning about layout would be helpful so that guest know the number of stairs and are prepared for the climb.
I would recommend the place with honest overview so guests are aware!
Access to Broadway was excellent! Cheap short Uber ride or walkable to sites!
4.6
Great place, great location. Biggest issue was code for the garage door did not work and the communication with the property management was not good. Told them it did not work but it never got fixed. Other than that, loved the space
4.6
The house was perfect for a party of 6. Plenty of room. Great Rooftop! We spent so much time up there. Only warning would be….a lot of stairs. Needs some painting also.
4.6
The only thing that we did not like was early check in was not allowed and it would have been very helpful and much more accommodating for our group flying in fairly early in the day. We ended up lugging out luggage around a couple hours.

About our stay…
We really enjoyed our stay at Southside Manor. The unit was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Central heating and air conditioning work well. It has updated appliances with a spacious kitchen and living room area. The beds we slept in (queen and king) were very comfortable. The rooftop space is awesome, and the propane fireplace was really nice on those cool nights. However, some of the rooftop furniture is quite worn, a bit uncomfortable, and in need of replacement (as of 4/2/2023), they could also use more furniture for larger parties (we were only a party of 4). There is a great view of the city scape from both the rooftop and the living room.
The house is in a quiet, safe neighborhood, a good location if you want to be away from the high traffic of lower Broadway. We are walkers, so it worked well for us. It is just a short walk to Gulch, which has shopping, and restaurants, and we also walked to lower Broadway which is about a mile and a half. There is a liquor store (Frugal MacDoogal) just a short walk (or uber) away. Grocery stores are about 2 miles away so we took an Uber to Publix and back.
About the communications…
This unit is managed by Vacasa property management. It was our first time renting from Vacasa and the effectiveness of the communications were mixed. We had a maintenance issue after we arrived, and in that instance, Vacasa was very good and quick at getting a local service provider to resolve the issue – just know that you need to call, they are not quick to respond to email.
In another case, we arrived on a Tuesday, the house was not rented or occupied on Monday, but despite multiple requests via phone, text, and via the app, Vacasa was not able to provide us with an early check-in or even the ability to store our luggage for the day, a bit of a disappointment since our flight landed at 7am. From what I got out of all my communications with them, they are not set up well to offer this benefit to their renters, and when needed, renting directly from a property owner would be a better way to go.

Our stay was enjoyable - loved Nashville - it's a bit of a walk but if the weather is good you can get to the Gulch in 10-15 minutes and Broadway in 30. I wouldn't say this was a BRAND new house - it has alot of light so when you walk in you see the paint streaks or touch up spots all through out the hallways and that should be corrected - other than that we had a very nice time there.

We had a great time. Everything was as advertised.

Communication with Vacasa was nothing short of horrific. We could not access the property until well after check in time because they gave us the wrong card. There was garbage left in the house cobwebs all over significant amount of dust like no one had been there cleaning in a long time. The fireplace didn’t work in the living room and the fire pit up on the roof had a beautiful view but that didn’t work either. The TV in the downstairs bedroom with the frame that did not work. We attempted to contact Vacasa numerous times via phone and text with no luck.
4.6
We had a great time in Nashville and the accommodations were perfect for 3 couples. We had no problem walking to-from Broadway during the day from this location (Uber at night). We enjoyed the roof-top fire pit while playing card games, even in the middle of February with cooperating weather. Appreciated late check-out since we had late afternoon flights. Would definitely stay again!
4.6
The house was spacious and the rooftop was such a treat. Location was ideal, especially the quiet neighborhood.
4.6
Love the walkability to The Gulch or a reasonable walk to Broadway. Beautiful property with great space across all floors. Tastefully decorated. Nicely furnished and equipped.
4.6
We enjoyed our stay in Nashville for the week between Christmas and New Years. Nashville is so much fun. The house could have been cleaner. One of the sinks in the master bedroom didn't drain. If stairs are an issue don't stay at this house. Stairs are everywhere. The dumb waiter was a huge help!
4.6
Plenty of room to spread out. But if steps aren’t for you I wouldn’t rent. Four stories. Parking for a big vehicle is extremely tight in the garage. There is parking on the road available we liked it had a cargo elevator to send up groceries and luggage. It’s only a mile to downtown. Neighbor hood felt safe.

I stayed at this property for a bachelorette party. It was just as pictured with set up and furniture however, it was so dirty. There was dust, spiderwebs, dirt, dirty dishes and more. I have pictures to prove it. The lawn was not even mowed. Who takes care of this property? It was very clear it has not been kept up with. The walls were dirty and clearly looks like it needs a new paint job. The sheets also had marks. The worst park was the bathrooms. NO BATHROOM CAME WITH SOAP. I was able to contact the property and they delivered it. It just felt like this property was never cleaned and parties stay their every weekend.
4.6
It was very clean & had a great starter kit of toilet paper, soap, paper towels ect. We had enough room for our 10 girl bachelorette party. The bunk beds were surprising very comfortable. The garage was pretty small to fit 2 full size cars we had to put in mirrors and pretty much touch the stairs to get both in. The rooftop was amazing! Would highly recommend and stay again!
4.6
House was spacious and comfortable for the 5 adults, really smart roof terrace and close to Downtown

I hosted my sister's bachelorette party here and it was amazing!! So many bedrooms, outstanding kitchen, incredible rooftop deck. Location is prime too. Can't beat it! Would absolutely stay here again.

The property was conveniently located. Nice quiet neighborhood of Abnbs. Plenty of room and so nice. It was nice having 2 bedrooms on the ground floor away from the bridal party. They enjoyed quality time together while others could enjoy quiet time. We all hope to return.
