About this house rental

Brand new home in hip East Nashville only 5 minutes from all the best that Nashville has to offer. 1 mile from 5-points in East Nashville and Shelby Park, 2 miles to Broadway / Downtown, 15-20 minutes to the Airport. Quiet safe neighborhood, the house is full of natural light, large windows, large open kitchen, tall ceilings and is the perfect retreat for your getaway to experience Music City. Large living room TV along with TVs in all 4 bedrooms, Netflix streaming included and fiber wi-fi internet.

Detailed house rules:
- No shoes inside (taken off in entryway on brick portion is ok or leave outside front door)
- No parties or extra guests allowed except those listed on reservation
- No excessive loud volumes (please respect neighbors)
- No smoking of any kind on premises (inside or outside) - if you have smokers in your group, please consider booking another property to avoid extra chargers for smoke-cleaning fees.
- No drugs
- No pets permitted (due to severe health allergies we do not allow any animals into the house)
- Legal alcohol permitted, only reasonable consumption, not excessive
- Must leave house clean on departure (kitchen cleaned up, dishes washed or in the dishwasher), trash taken out, all used bedding/towels taken off the beds
- Please switch on ventilation fans when taking showers
- Please clean up food after eating / don't leave food out to prevent pest problems
- Please be conscious of your luggage, carry them upstairs carefully without bumping walls and do not place them up again walls in rooms to avoid scrapes, wear and damage to walls
- Towels are provided and meant to be used for clean drying and not used for dirt, spills or makeup removal.
- Early check-in or late check-out might be available and may incur additional costs

A note about the neighborhood:
Located in Shelby Hills neighborhood, a quiet safe residential neighborhood of East Nashville that's close to everything. The house is just 1 mile away from some of the best dining and nightlife Nashville has to offer, close to 5 points neighborhood in East Nashville, hip area for nightlife and bars and 1 mile away from Shelby Park. Please consider many neighborhoods in East Nashville are in the process of gentrification, a mix of older homes and brand new million dollar home builds. The street this house is located on is safe and we have never had any safety issues. On your drive over to the home, depending how you approach, you may go through industrial areas or pass by lower-income housing, or you may drive through residential home areas or nature parks. Please don't be alarmed by the surrounding area. In the 2 years living here we haven't had any incidents. Free street car parking has always been safe and is plentiful and available right outside in front of the house. It is probably not advised to walk alone at night although we have done so dozens of times without issue. Please don't leave valuables in your car for safety. All this is stated as extra info so there are no surprises or false expectations that based on the exterior house photo, the entire neighborhood will look similar (only about half the homes in the area are new builds). Overall Shelby Hills is considered a great neighborhood for Nashville, an excellent location close to downtown and many attractive sites to see in Nashville.

Children are welcome but we don't have specific accommodations for kids (no toys/games etc). We do have on hand a toddlers playpen and other requests like child's chair might be possibly provided by special request.

The house was perfect for our family. The jack and jill bedrooms/bathroom for 2 kids and 2 adults worked great. Aunt and uncle in master and grandma downstairs. It was appreciated we all had our own bathrooms. It was well appointed however we did not do any cooking during our stay. If coming with kids, know it is wood floors with raised foundation and an open floorplan, so keeping kids quiet in mornings was a challenge. Short easy drive downtown. Had a great time!

My family and I stayed in Mark’s house for a week. 4 adults and 2 small children. This house is spacious and definitely suited for larger groups. The open floor plan and ample space made it easy to have my little ones with me. The backyard is fenced and a perfect size for letting them play outside too. Mark is super nice and easy to communicate with. The home is immaculate, nicely decorated, and has enough kitchen and living space to actually be able to settle in if you’re staying for a little while. It is close to downtown and very close to five points in east Nashville for bars, restaurants, shopping, etc. Check in and check out were super easy. Birds and bunnies also seem to love coming in the backyard which was a cute bonus. 10/10 recommend!

Traveled with 4 couples to attend concert. This house is absolutely amazing and clean. We had plenty of room. Mark was amazing and we had no issues. The travel to downtown was about 5-7 minutes.

The house is lovely and very clean. We were on a girls trip and the location to downtown was perfect. The neighborhood was decent and looks like it is up and coming. Did have to drive through a little bit of a shady area but didn't have any problems. The house could have used some extra blankets for couch and beds to make it a bit more cozy but other than that, great place. Mark was very easy to get ahold of and even offered to bring over a sponge because the cleaning staff forgot to leave one for us.

This house is very nice! It’s a quiet neighborhood and a 5-10 minute Uber ride to downtown Nashville and 15 min from the airport. Mark was very easy to communicate with and we had zero issues. I highly recommend this home!

Our family, parents with adult children, really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, spacious home. So modern and lovely. There should be no concerns about staying in East Nashville. The neighborhood was quiet and very convenient to downtown. Mark, our host, was always available and was so helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot for a trip. The property is clean and well taken care of with anything you could think of for your needs. Plenty of space for 8 adults. Short car or Uber ride to many points of interest (5 minute ride to Broadway). Great communication with the owner.

Our entire family really enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful and very well cared for! It is clean, cozy and spacious at the same time. We enjoyed being able to sit outside and the garage was a hug bonus! The location is great, close to everything, we did lots of different activities because we had a hug age range among the family members. I am very particular in where I stay on my vacations and I was very happy to see that the house was just as pictured and there were NO BUGS and it did NOT SMELL, two things very important to me. The house rules were similar to our own house rules so we appreciated that also. We had plenty of towels, wash cloths etc. there were even some condiments and a few kitchen items that we did not have to buy. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and hope all treat the place with the respect it deserves. Mark the host clear with instructions and was easy to connect with. GREAT STAY! Just as pictured!!!

This was our first time to Nashville and we couldn't have ask for a better house. We had 3 couples and had plenty of room. We each had our own bedrooms and bathrooms/showers. Centrally located and very close to downtown and easy uber ride to wherever we wanted to go. Mark was awesome answered quickly to any questions we had. Was a wonderful experience. 5 stars

The place was clean and well maintained. We needed more towels for 7 of us ladies and Mark came quickly to provide them. Kicthen was well equipped and had everything we needed. We didn't rent a car and Uber/Lyft was got us to everything we wanted to do. Would stay again next time we're there.

We booked this house for my daughter's 21st birthday celebration and it was perfect. I brought a friend and my daughter brought 3 friends so there were a total of 6 of us. My friend and I stayed in the room downstairs (queen with private bath) and gave the younger girls the upstairs area which included the master. It worked out so well. The house is amazing! Very clean and located in an older up and coming neighborhood. It was really quiet. We spent a lot of time on the huge sectional in the living room chatting it up. We also enjoyed the big table on the patio and watching all of the birds...even got a visit from a bunny. Transportation was a breeze using Lyft. We needed an XL car and they were always there within 5 minutes. All of Nashville's popular areas are within a 5-10 minute ride from the house so that was nice too. Mark was amazing and answered all of our messages promptly. Awesome House and Amazing Memories. We may be back again in November. Thank You Mark for sharing your property with us!

Mark is the best host and his home is amazing! Great communication throughout and very accommodating. He is what all VRBO hosts should aspire to be. The home was amazing and it’s just a short ride to Broadway but away from all the noise. I liked the neighborhood too. Many new homes going up in this desired neighborhood. I would definitely choose to stay here again!

The home was exactly as pictured. Has all kitchen appliances and cookware you could need. Fresh herb garden even! Very clean. Beds are very firm. 5 to 10 minute drive to downtown. Great for big families or 4 couples! Would definitely stay again. Thank you Mark!

The house was great and the owner was very responsive to any cares or concerns we may have had. The area was safe for the most part. The end of the street was a bit sketchy. In saying that we did not have any problems. I would stay here again.

Had a great experience at Mark's home in East Nashville. Easy logistics, great hospitality and informed recommendations for how to enjoy the area with my family.
