This is a great property. It is located in a convenient area and easy to get around town. It came with parking for two cars. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Steps to bar harbor and acadia national park. We had a blast hiking precipe and other trails.

I have stayed in VRBOs many times over the years & this was the most disappointing. We did like the location and the bathrooms were very nice.
We had two main issues: the property was advertised as new; no mention of steep stairs/3rd floor. We picked the place out because it was new & it’s definitely not new. The biggest disappointment was the steps. We are all over 65 & carrying things up & down the stairs was an issue. 3 of us slipped and landed on our butts. No one was hurt but it was very dangerous!
Here are someother issues: mold in the washer; pillow cases were stained & had to wash; carpets were dirty.

Our family of 5 stayed here very comfortably and loved the location and ease of parking. Communication was easy and helpful when we had some questions before arriving. Laundry was also a big plus for us.

Excellent location!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! The a/c and parking were added bonuses!
The unit was perfect for a family or girls trip. Don’t pass this one up!
The only downside is that the unit is a 2 story walk up.

Our family enjoyed staying in downtown Bar Harbor and seeing all the beautiful sites! The home is in an excellent location with everything just a short walk from the front door.

This apartment is in an excellent location. Walkable to restaurants, shops, waterfront and close proximity to Acadian National Park. It is nicely decorated, well-equipped and perfect for our 3- generation family of 6. Thomas is an excellent host. Easy to communicate with; very quick to respond to questions. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location was well within walking distance of the Bar Harbor restaurants and a very short walk to Hannaford's grocery store. The included parking is a major perk and makes it easy to get back to the condo after a long day of hiking. The condo was clean and spacious. The only minor downside is the location on the third floor and the narrow stairs leading to the condo. This makes for some work on arrival and departure to get luggage unpacked and packed. Overall, a very nice place to stay.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in this unit. It was comfortable, roomy enough for our group of 8 adults and super convenient to a nearby grocery store (3-min walk), all of Bar Harbor’s great shops and restaurants and an 8-minute walk to the Village Green shuttle stop that takes you all around Acadia NP. The in-unit laundry was a great feature along with a nice kitchen and very comfortable sofas. Of note, the beds are very firm and there are two flights of steps to access the unit. We were fine with those issues but not everyone would be. Overall, a wonderful place to stay while visiting Acadia NP.

We found this apartment to be very clean and comfortable. Nothing fancy, but beds were comfortable and A/C (window units) in each room provided a comfortable temp given Maine was experiencing a minor heat wave when we visited. Great location makes it walkable to the harbor and the main shopping/dining area (10 min) so you don’t have to fight for parking which is competitive and also expensive. There is also a nice breakfast/coffee shop in the same block. The only downfall is that it is on the third floor and you must climb 2 flights of narrow stairs with suitcases. I would not suggest this for older guests or someone who doesn’t pack light. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks.

The apartment was well kept and in a great location. It is within walking distance to the town center. A grocery store, bakery, and restaurant were very close which made it very convenient. We would recommend staying here if you want to leave the car parked and walk to everything.

Thomas was great; the property was as advertised. We particularly liked that it was close to Hanneford’s, downtown and Acadia. The kitchen was brand new and well equipped. Our only concern was the three flights up—less than ideal for senior citizens.

This condo is in a great location that is walkable to the nearby grocery store, shops, restaurants, and the downtown Bar Harbor scene. It was suitable for family ages ranging from 2-70. It was very clean and appears to have been renovated recently. A great spot to serve as a place to relax and also a launching pad for outdoor adventures. The only downside was the exterior is a bit run down, including unfinished siding in which the Tyvek plastic was flapping in the wind and waking up our family at night at times. Other than the exterior needing to be finished, it was a great stay and we appreciate the hosts opening up their space to us. Enjoy!

Six of us (friends from afar) stayed 4 nights in this lovely, comfortable, well-equipped, and perfectly-located apartment for a visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Everything was perfect ~ the apartment was really great for 6 adults and had everything we needed to feel at home. We were so close to the park and visited every day. The town is gorgeous, and we were fortunate to arrive just outside of the highest season, so we were able to enjoy ourselves immensely. Any questions we had were immediately answered by Thomas and we would highly recommend this spot to others who need space!

Perfect location - minutes from the visitor center in Acadia National Park where you can leave your car and catch a park bus. Could also catch the bus from Bar Harbor just a block or two away. Location allowed you to hike all day then walk around town to dine at some great restaurants, shop and grab some drinks at the local bars. Best of both worlds.

Location was perfect - in the mix in Bar Harbor without living within the crowds. Local restaurants were great for breakfast and dinner.

We really enjoyed our return to Bar Harbor. The VRBO was a nice way to go so we could all stay together and have a clean open area kitchen to start and finish our days hiking, shopping and eating. There was a nice book for recommendations for restaurants and the place was well appointed. Just off Cottage street, a Main Street in the city, it was an easy walk to town and surrounded by great places for breakfast and other meals. There is a grocery store just a few blocks away - no need to bring anything with you. It’s on the third floor - the top floor - it was quiet and easy to get up the stairs.

Very clean and well appointed & furnished property. The best part about staying here is the walkability to everything in Bar Harbor! From great restaurants, breweries, bars, shopping, and the waterfront, including the sandbar @ low tide. Grocery store is just up the street, coffee shop & bakery next door. Entrance to Acadia just a couple of minutes away. Very comfortable beds. Worked great for our party of 4 needs. Would definitely stay here again if returning to the area.

5 minute walk from downtown, with dedicated parking (this is huge). This was a great spot for us to stay while visiting Bar Harbor. Had everything we needed and easy communication with ownership.

Nice and clean, comfy beds, good location- about a five minute walk from downtown. Rooms were nice and big as well. Was great for our family of 5- but could have easily fit more.

The property was spacious, clean, and made a great home base for exploring Bar Harbor and Acadia. The location was perfect. There is a great bakery and a breakfast restaurant right downstairs, grocery store one block away, Acadia visitor center is less than a 5 minute drive away, and the main area of Bar Harbor was short 10 minute walk. The property manager was very responsive. I definitely recommend!

Great renovation of inside, from kitchen to bathrooms. Modern efficiencies and touches throughout. Enviable BH location, walking distance to just about everything . Would stay here again!

We loved the condo. It is in a convenience location to all of Bar Harbor. We walked everywhere, including to the grocery store in the next block and the bike rental shop. We rented bikes and rode everywhere (or walked) most days. The condo is well furnished. I would just add one dining chair!

Our family loved the apartment! Easy access to Acadia NP, and an short walk to downtown. Close to the sandbar hike, easy access to the waterfront - perfect! Bonus - the Desert Island bakery (about 30 steps from the apartment door) has THE BEST lemon pound cake! Thomas and Jodi's restaurant recommendations were also awesome - everyone especially enjoyed McKays Public House!!

Fabulous newly renovated property in a perfect location to park your car and enjoy
New property needs a little tweaking to gain premier status! Fabulous communication and location. Park your car and enjoy the area.

Good location but poor internet
Internet was very spotty - didn’t work hardly at all. TV was worthless because the Internet didn’t work - even when we rebooted the router several times. We would have liked soap and shampoo in the bathrooms.

Nice property and perfect location!
We really enjoyed our stay in beautiful Bar Harbor! Although the building could use some exterior updating, overalll the newly remodeled apartment was great for our group.
It was modern and comfortable. It was nicely furnished and although we didn't cook, the kitchen seemed to be well stocked. The location was perfect for walking to restaurants, shopping, groceries, and the beautiful waterfront. The hosts were very responsive and left a detailed book with thoughtful recommendations for restaurants, hiking, and other activities.
We tried several of your favorite restaurants and they did not disappoint! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Bar Harbor / Acadia apartment - perfect!
This new property is in a perfect location to enjoy Bar Harbor and Acadia NP. You’re footsteps from Mount Dessert Bakery, Hannaford supermarket, Jordan’s restaurant, Bar Harbor Bicycle Shop and all that the town has to give with a little more walking. Acadia is minutes away by car to the entrances to Sand Beach and the Ocean Walk, Cadillac Mountain, Eagle Lake Carriage trails, or the Visitor Center. The apartment is well suited to families or friends looking to spend the day out and gather for a meal later in the day. The kitchen has everything you need and the supermarket and local purveyors (Parson’s Lobsters for fresh seafood!) can stock you up for a affordable time without having to eat out all the time. There were 6 of us staying this past week and we never felt we were on top of each other. The two bathrooms and washer and dryer helped everyone! The other bonus is off street parking. Street parking is metered or permit only so this really helps. Make sure you are able to navigate the two floors of stairs to get to the unit. Going up and down unpacking or packing is a workout but the unit is worth the effort. We come to Acadia once or twice a year. This was the first time in this new property and we had a great week and would come back again to this location. Thanks to the Sargent family for having us!
